Like sorry from a narrative perspective I just don't know why we needed it. It isn't actually anything that is good for Claudia. "She finally got a chance to say something to them and lay it all out and make it about her for a change" fair to a certain extent and she absolutely deserves that but like did this scene actually serve her and her character or give her any real agency? Because what it really was was a way to further along the story of Lestat and Louis (and barely did that, as of now at least. ridiculously chill about it afterwards if you ask me and barely talking about it!) and it doesn't actually give her any sense of closure or narrative control because after it all she's still dead and in agony and we'll probably never hear from her again (unless we do idk, I haven't read any of the books).

"Now Louis and Lestat know how she really feels" 1. Not convinced that was 100% accurate to how she really felt and is not influenced by the decades of living alone in hell which is the only explanation for the lengths she went to with some of the comments that makes sense to me (I know we haven't truly seen her until now but like. we do have her diary which was used quite frequently. you'd think we'd know about some of those deeper feelings and the machinations going on during season 1 from her diary. and obviously she did have good times with them at certain points and it's not like those good times were fully in Louis's head because she wrote about them) 2. THEY KNEW ALREADY! How many times did Claudia make very clear her feelings towards Louis in season 2 and her deep frustrations and anger with the choices he made. Claudia literally crafted the plot to kill Lestat and made sure to look him in the eye as she died partially to force him to reckon with it. She fought through the pain and mind suppression during the trial because she was so angry and needed to make it known. She never shied away from being upfront about this. There is no world in which we needed a seance for them to know she was deeply unhappy and angry with them at the core of everything. And that also goes back to the first point about her finally getting a chance to say this and it's like well yes they always deserve to hear it and she always deserves to say it but she has had chances and has taken them many times before!
