Window shopping in a department store? Akechi’s trying to get you to burn bank because you would look so “great in that outfit” and accessory A “makes your eyes pop!”

Tune him out or you’ll have nothing left in your wallet. Akechi should be a clerk looking for commission with his marketing skills.

Even in the food courts, he’s convincing you to try food A or food B or side C…

“Another letter for the lovely Kokomi…” you laugh, flicking through her huge pile of obsessive fan letters, Teruhashi brushing her hair and scowling a bit.

“I love you so much Koko-chan, will you marry me?” You snicker – “Koko-chan”, really? – the letter is worn out, the writer clearly rereading it over and over again. You bunch the paper up into a ball and throw it at her, still laughing.”

Teruhashi doesn’t even bother opening it, neatly trashing it. Somehow, despite her “heartlessly” trashing one of her diehard fan’s confession, she’s still radiant. You swear she’s even perked up a bit now that it’s gone.

“This person doesn’t even know you and they’re so obsessed!” It’s strange – one look at Teruhashi and some people are goners.

Teruhashi grins, “I’m charming, I can’t help it.” She is quite charming. Charming as she glares and grumbles at the creeps flooding her inbox.

You’re at her house which is rare—for unknown reasons, Teruhashi doesn’t really like it when you’re in her house. Even now, she’s a bit fidgety, looking around as is something is going to spoil her mood.

And then it happens. Teruhashi’s door opens; or well, it tries but Teruhashi’s at her door in an instant, propping it shut with her body weight.

A muffled voice comes from behind the door, “Dearest Kokomi – it’s me, your beloved brother! Why aren’t you opening up?”

“A brother?” You mouth at her, Teruhashi frowning and nodding yes.

“Go away Makoto!” The door stops for a moment, and you breathe but then the banging on the door gets even more insistent.

“Why! I just want to say hi to my lovely sister! Or… are you changing?” At his words, the pushing on the door grows louder.

What a creep. “Teruhashi, move away from the door.” She balks at your words but slowly moves away as you approach. As she leaves, the door falls open, her creepy brother nearly toppling over himself. Unluckily for him, he falls into your arms, and you do the rational, obvious thing.

You slap him. Hard.

It makes a crisp, lovely sound that delights you immensely. “That’s just the beginning of what I will do if you don’t leave you weirdo.”

Makoto’s indignant, not even looking at you, glancing over to Teruhashi with the most sickening puppy dog face you’ve ever seen.

“Kokomi… they just hit me!” You hit him again to shut him up, finally throwing him onto the ground.

Teruhashi looks pleased. You take that as a sign, raising your foot to hit him.

Obscurity

That’s… probably the sweetest thing someone’s done for him.

You and Saiki bond over obscure bands, arguing about which songs are better than other. Once, he’d had the gall to insinuate that song A was better than song B and for a week, you were constantly thinking about Song B’s music video so Saiki would have to watch it again and again. It took him a week and a day to concede.

In class, when you know he’s a bit bored, you think of your favorite movie scenes or a video analysis on a song you’d both listened too in order to brighten his mood. His own personal television available everywhere and anywhere.

And that leads to your current predicament. You’d been buzzing with excitement – one of your favorite bands was about to release a new song and you were dying to listen to it the minute it had gotten out. Unfortunately, Saiki had been busy as of late and couldn’t make it. If you listened to it (which you desperately wanted too) it would be in your thoughts a lot, which would ruin any of the surprise Saiki would get.

And he rarely gets surprised… So, you don’t listen to it. Not one bit. Saiki’s touched you would wait for him when you were so excited for it in the first place.

This is great news because all of his babysitting Yuuta responsibilities fall onto you. Saiki’s on cloud 9 – his mom forcing him to babysit Yuuta doesn’t matter now because he has his very, very lovely S/O to help him with it.

It’s kind of strange how little children bend to your whim easily. Saiki will say something and Yuuta will make the most atrocious face in response but when you say something, Yuuta’s suddenly the most obedient and precious kid to have walked the earth. Unreal.

Sometimes, he’s a bit frightened of walking past a kindergarten with you. It’ll be the Pied Piper and the kids will follow you like little ducklings, and suddenly you’re both getting arrested for kidnapping. Saiki’s speaking from experience.

Having the ability to hear and see almost everything tends to be overpowering. You’re practically a God in human form.

Somedays are better than others: Saiki’s relatively at peace, and nothing bothers him too much. But other days, he doesn’t want to leave his house and face the world; yet he can still hear the thoughts of people, see their dreams and their wants and he hasn’t even left the house… He could wear the germanium ring, but after years of being bombarded with thoughts, Saiki feels uncomfortably empty, like he’s missing something.

What if someone wants to kill him? Not that that could ever happen. It’s more likely that he’d accidentally kill someone. Let’s say he’s enjoying coffee jelly and stretches his arm. Someone gets in his way and his hand is impaling their chest! It’s not fun to worry constantly; worrying about whether there’s a tear in his gloves, and he’ll find out that this book he’s touching was actually in somebody’s toilet at a point. Worrying that if he gets sick, he might sneeze and explode a part of town by accident. Worrying about when his power will beat his limiter and he’ll be an uncontrollable, unstoppable force, reducing the world to nothing but rubble.

Somedays, its hard to keep going.

Today is one of those days. You know it, and that’s why you’re here to cheer him up. Armed with a ton of coffee jelly and a very, very obscure movie so he can’t see spoilers, you’ve come prepared.

Saiki’s huddled in his room. The minute you step in, he shifts, leaving you space on the bed. You settle down, popping open the coffee jelly box and handing him a spoon.

“How about we have an indoor weekend, you and me?” You put on the movie, settling into his side.

Saiki’s head rests on your shoulder and he shudders from time to time. You run your fingers through his hair, Saiki relaxing slightly in your hold.

“I’m here if you want anything.” Saiki doesn’t say anything – he doesn’t have to, content to lie in your arms for the rest of the day.

Then one day he walks into class and sees an entire ant colony (minus the Queen and a few guards) crawling around his s/o’s desk and they’re just sitting there just as confused as he is

Saiki would die. The minute that swarm of bees started following you he freaked out and teleported to Zimbabwe out of pure shock. You’re shocked too – but not everybody’s blessed with the ability to instantly teleport away from their problems…

Like, Saiki loves you and all but ??? Of all things to be special in, why must it be attracting… insects?! Why the hell are you attracting bugs?! At first, he thought maybe spraying insect repellent would deter them; unfortunately, you’d both been on a date when you’d laughed and kicked your leg up – and sent two beetles flying off it. Yeah, Saiki fainted the minute he saw that.

He's not going to break up with you – because he has willpower, and it’s not your fault that… creatures follow you around. Still, he’s constantly searching up “What attracts insects” and “how to get rid of insects” but who cares? And no, the ladybugs that follow you aren’t cute – for all you know, they have poison that’s deadly to humans! He’s trying to protect you and his sanity.

Surprise Alert

Kaidou’s never distracted or caught off-guard! How could the Jet-Black Wings ever be distracted; if he’s not aware of his surroundings, then who will save mankind from the evil fiends known as Dark Reunion?!

Just kidding. Kaidou’s absorbed in playing Dungeons and Dragons after Saiko offhandedly mentioned it while whining about peasant games, so his attention might’ve slipped the littlest bit. And that gives you the chance to swoop in and attack him while he’s unaware. At first, you’d just been walking by, no mischief planned but Kaidou’s concentrated face was so cute you couldn’t help yourself!

Sneaking behind him, gently grabbing his face and reveling in his surprised squeak before pressing a kiss to his cheek. You’re running off, done with your plans, listening to Kaidou’s halfhearted whines about “What if he’d used his powers on you because he thought you were Dark Reunion.”

Saiki’s wearing his germanium ring for once. This is a golden opportunity, a once in a lifetime chance that would probably never drop at your feet again. He’d wanted to watch a movie – it’s a mystery, so having the ring on was the only way to prevent thoughts with spoilers from ruining his mood.

As for you… you’d been planning how to kiss Saiki. See, kissing Saiki when he’s aware is very nice – you do it quite often. But kissing Saiki when he’s off-guard and watching the rare blush bloom on his face was something you desperately wanted to do.

“Don’t you think it’s a nice movie?” Saiki’s speaking out loud for once; you nod absentmindedly, eyes zeroing on his cheek. Saiki turns around, ads finally finished, and you strike – nearly toppling over as you lean into his seat and kiss him on the cheek.

“Are you serious?—” you laugh and kiss him again because why not?

Tanjirou’s on night watch. You weren’t lucky enough to find a kind stranger to take you in for the night, so now you’re stuck in “creepy, haunted” woods as Zenitsu puts it. You’re surprised Zenitsu’s gone to sleep after whining for so long, but Zenitsu (and Inosuke) are out like a light. The only reason you’re awake and not resting (like Tanjirou insists you should) is because your boyfriend looks very cute when he’s focused on keeping you all safe.

“You should go to sleep.” Tanjirou’s facing you, eyes glancing around from time to time.

You shake your head in the negative – your shift is in the next hour, if you nap now you’ll just be exhausted when the time comes. “Let me give you a hug for good luck.” At your words, Tanjirou grins, spreading out his hands. You walk over to him, arms outstretched.

You don’t hug hm. Instead, you kiss his cheek, delighting in Tanjirou’s surprise and laughter.

“You don’t have to surprise me to kiss me, you know?”

Bouquet

As the lovely S/O you are, you decide to hand your significant other a bouquet of flowers.

Teruhashi: Well… she receives flowers almost every other day. You’ve personally witnessed the hordes of flowers she’ll receive – and once in a while, you pick the prettiest flowers from her pile and make a flower crown for her. Still, the flowers you send to her don’t get put into the trash but into a special vase she keeps hidden (who knows if Makoto will burn them?). The one-time Teruhashi sent you flowers, you received enough glares to last a week.

Saiki: Best thing to do is to get him chocolate flowers. Saiki’s addicted to them – one, they’re sent with genuine feelings and two, they taste so good. He loves them a lot; as for you, you love the dopey, elated look on his face when he takes a bite out of them. Sure, buying chocolate flowers hurts your pockets, but the gleeful look of anticipation on his face makes it worth it. From time to time, he buys you his own chocolate flowers – can’t promise there won’t be any bites out of it.

Toritsuka: “A popular guy like me always gets flowers~” Toritsuka’s lying of course, your flowers are the only one he gets. Minus the time Saiki sent him “funeral flowers”. Toritsuka appreciates your flowers very much, though he can never keep them alive for long. Gets you flowers and always tries to make a show out of it, to give them to you in public.

Kaidou: Giving him flowers is a must! His reaction is always adorable and makes it worth it. Kaidou will look around anxiously once you give him the flowers and whine about Dark Reunion being afoot and how he can’t be distracted. He’ll collect the flowers with a blush, a sigh and a dopey smile. Even superheroes need to be taken care of sometimes.

Kuboyasu: Giving your ex-gangster boyfriend flowers is one of the best things to do. Kuboyasu loves these trinkets of affection and will cherish them with his life if he has too. He’s very fond of buying you flowers and delivering them himself because its what “normal people” do with their romantic partners.

Saiko: Hmm… you really want to give peasant flowers to Saiko? He won’t hate them of course – you have the sentimental aspect of a gift to back you up, and he’ll (his servants actually) will take very good care of them. On that note, wouldn’t you prefer it if you let Saiko buy you flowers? Wouldn’t that be much nicer?
