     me hyping kataras/waterbenders up???? yeah

     honestly, something that i’ve always been so excited about but frequently forget to post is the small detail in the opening theme of atla. where every single element is portrayed by one of the avatar's incarnations, it’s only in lok that fire is displayed by roku. in atla, it’s azula that demonstrates the method and like???? that sort of just shows how powerful she is. her bending is on par with the avatar’s, and if that doesn't make you treat her like a queen then idk what will.

     i think i might have found a legend of korra era katara!! she’s nive nielsen,  an inuk actress from nuuk, greenland, and i’m currently looking at maybe devery jacobs or q'orianka kilcher early in her career for current katara? what do you guys think?

          “  i don’t know if it’s just me, but i don’t think my caster presence matches well enough with your assassin skills for this mission to be very successful.  ”

          “  gosh, it’s SO HOT; why couldn’t i have been born with something like, i don’t know, heatbending?  ”     --- bumps of ice are scattered across her palms pressed tight against her neck in an effort to battle the waves of heat that she can just feel bounce from the ground and through her skin, though her precautions melt and it’s too tiring to repeat the process over again.

          “  you?? you make robots? that’s, wow that’s so cool: i can barely get myself where i need to be on time, and you’re out here  ENGINEERING  things that literally can change worlds.  ”

          “  flame lord? that’s... quite an  ILLUSTRIOUS  title though no doubt you’ve earned it if people refer to you as such. it’s an, it’s an interesting name.  ”
