“– And what have you planned to do about it, Ulfric? The attacks have been becoming more and more frequent. Soon you may have to put aside this war to attend to the greater threat. ”

         "What has Tullius planned to do about it?

          --absolutely naught, as I've heard. Surely

          you understand how this world works

          when it comes to matters of war, or perhaps

          your age has gotten the better of you.

                                                                    I refuse to stay my blade 'till he does,

                                                                    for he'd indulge in any distraction.

           That's not to say I've not spoken of preparations

            -- I'm no fool, Balgruuf, but there's little I can do

            against the likes of dragons with the Legion

“– I am on the side of Whiterun. And there is a greater matter at hand, Ulfric. The dragons have returned.”

         "Oh, I am well aware of the dragons.

                   If not for them, I'd be a foot shorter and a lot less talkative.

“– Well enough. How is your war treating you, Ulfric?”

          "Better than one may think. 

                      But I'm afraid I cannot discuss such matters at this time.

“– Not at all.”

          "Excellent, then we've no reason to dwell on it.

[ So, I believe this has been a long time coming. Though I fought to hold on for a while, I figure it's time for me to accept things and let them go.

Therefore, I will be putting Ulfric on an INDEFINITE HIATUS. I've simply lost my muse for him in favour of other characters, and there's truly no point in me leaving you all hanging with no word of activity. My queue has as of 10 minutes ago run out, and it was quite a stretch long, meaning my activity has been gone for longer than it feels it has. 

I may occasionally pop in with a post from time to time, but I wouldn't count on any stable flow of activity, unless I suddenly recapture his muse. The fact remains: Ulfric is simply no fun for me anymore. It feels like a chore to get into his character; he's far too serious for my tastes, and I've had a mountain more fun with characters I can be silly with without it being pure crack. 

I've lost quite a sum of you lately, but I just wanted to thank you all so much for being around: there were as many as 430 of you for a time, before my dwindling activity sent you off. Regardless, that's in insane amount to someone like me. And thank you for giving me the opportunity to interact with so many of you.

Again, thank you so much for all you guys have offered me these past months, and I'm truly sorry I have to do this. I may pop in, but most likely I will ONLY answer messages unless I rekindle my muse for Ulfric. I'll reblog this a few more times in the next few days, too.
