Possible Memelord(Steph and Danny) but not necessary.
The Batfam are interrogating Steph due to her pranks getting out of hand, but she has an alibi for every single one, que them losing their minds because no one "they" know could pull it off.
"Is it... Raven? Are you getting help from Raven?" Dick asked, his hair still in a shade of a bright, pinkish violet.
"Nope!" Stephanie said.
"It's not Cass, Babs, Flamebird, Huntress, Ivy, Harley, Duke, Rose, pretty much none of the Teen Titans or Young Justice..." Jason listed, looking more and more irritated. He was completely covered in glitter. "So who the hell is it?! I know it's not B for a training exercise either, because his clothes are still stuck to the ceiling with super glue!"
Damian stood next to him, sulking as he had all of his clothes dyed pink. He refused to even speak with Stephanie afterwards, but was still here to find out who was helping Stephanie and her pranks.
"Don't tell me... did you team up with Secret?" Tim asked. He had been drinking nothing but salty coffee and energy drinks and he looked exhausted.
Stephanie made a face. "No. We may have broken up, but I still don't like her."
"Fair enough," he sighed. He then threw his hands up. "Literally who could it be?! There's no way you can do all of these pranks by yourself!"
Stephanie grinned with her hands behind her back.
"It's a secret!" She chirped as they started arguing again.
She laid her hand out and an invisible hand slapped it.
They would never be able to guess that she got one of Bruce's Justice League members to help her!
Regarding your Dan in Arkham AU. I was wondering how did the Bat family react to Joker anonymously being murdered in jail? Did they discover it was Wraith?
Prev part
âGuys,â Barbaraâs voice came through the speaker in an urgent tone. âThereâs news from Arkham Asylum.â
Everyone turned around like meerkats spotting danger. Immediately, Bruce demanded, âWhat happened?â
âItâs⌠well, itâs not bad, kind of, technically, maybe.â The last part was rambled and everyone shared looks, bewildered at Barbaraâs uncharacteristic flustered state.
âO?â Dick asked. âWhat happened?â
â⌠the Joker is dead.â
Silence.
And then cheers from most of the occupants within the room.
âHell yeah!â Jason cheered. âItâs party time! Is the general public aware? Itâs like New Years, Christmas, and my birthday all in one! O, invite everyone over, weâre having a celebration!â
Damian clapped enthusiastically while Stephanie hugged Cass, hopping up and down and chanting, âYes! Yes! Woohoo! Ding Dong, the Jokerâs gone!â Even Tim was grinning, while Dick was shaking his head, hiding his smile.
Only Bruce frowned. âAre you sure? Who killed him?â
Barbara coughed, fighting her own grin before she sobered quickly and reported, âNo oneâs sure, but heâs definitely dead. He was killed out of nowhere and there are currently no suspects. HoweverâŚâ everyone quieted, eyes wide as Barbara hesitated. âI do have my suspicions.â
Bruce grimaced heavily. âWho?â
Jason scowled at him, but before he could speak, Barbara brought up video feed of the hallways leading up to the Jokerâs isolated cell. There were three figures sneaking around as they approached it. Two of the figures were very recognizable, blonde pigtails and red hair. However, there was one person most of the Bats did not recognize.
Dick froze stiffly, eyes wide.
âThere was a video of the hallway to the Jokerâs cells of Ivy, Harley, and another inmate approaching Jokerâs cell a few minutes before he died. However, after that, I have no more video evidence, even inside of the cell. Itâs all frizzed out.â She tried to demonstrate and only showed off videos of green, glitchy static.
Bruce grimaced. âWho is that? The other inmate?â
âA recent arrival. He was brought in a day ago and was declared a meta, although no one is aware of what his powers are, except perhaps something about fire. Heâs been cooperative and peaceful so far. Apparently, he calls himself Wraith and he was caught in BlĂźdhaven but brought to Arkham Asylum due to his meta status.â
There was a pause as they all registered the news. Dick was inwardly sweating buckets but made sure to keep his posture very innocent, in case Cass was staring at him.
Then Barbara said, âOh.â
âMore news, Oracle?â
â⌠yeah. He as well as the other Sirens just broke out of Arkham.â
Cass gets some gear from the Drs Fenton so she can handle ghost stuff for Danny on his day off.
Cass hummed. She and Steph were walking down a street, with the latter chattering about the recent events in her life.
Eventually, as she finished another tangent about the cute and tall boy in her forensic science class, Steph turned towards Cass and asked, "How're you and Danny doing?"
Cass smiled, lifting the cup she was holding so Steph could take a sip for her overworked throat. "Good. Met his parents on Tuesday."
"What?! Oh my gosh! You met his parents?! How was it? Were they nice? I heard that they were ghost hunters! Is it true? Did the visit go well? Howâ" Steph was silenced by Cass putting a finger to her lips.
"It went okay. They were nice," Cass said with a smile.
Steph beamed. "Aww, I can't believe you're already meeting his parents! So when's the wedding?" She teased, nudging her.
Cass gave her a light glare and was about to speak when suddenly, there was a scream erupting from the other street. A ghost had burst out of a store's doors and was now terrorizing the civilians.
"Where's Danny??" Stephanie asked, as the ghost went on a rampage.
Cass sighed, pulling out her purse and rummaging inside. "It's his day off."
"Dammit!" Steph cried. "There goes my shopping plans for the day!"
"I'll take care of it," Cass said, cheerfully taking out a tube of lipstick.
Steph blinked.
"Whaâ" her voice was cut off again as Cass opened the lipstick and then aimed the end at the ghost.
A laser flew out and dispersed the ghost, who shrieked with pain before disappearing. Cass blew off the smoke that came from her lipstick weapon and then pulled Steph away from the scene of the crime.
Steph stared at her with her mouth agape, eyes wide. Cass smiled sweetly.
"A gift from Dr Fenton," she answered the silent question. "I think they're also really excited for the wedding."

I haz an idea cause I love Jazz being a big sis/guardian dynamic with Damian. Jazz gets turned into a blanket. either by a magical mishap or an enemy's curse. Eventually, blanket Jazz ends up in the Al Ghul's custody and becomes Damian's baby blanket.
On the surface, Damian's blanket seems normal enough, and if Talia wasn't an heiress that could delegate simple tasks to others, she might have noticed a few oddities. Like the fact the blanket stayed fresh and clean, no matter what Damian dragged it through. or that it didn't have the normal ware and tear even with the years passing by. The only weird thing she took note of was occasionally finding a dead assassin who had been smothered by the blanket near a sleeping little Damian.
The Bats didn't question it. Blankies are a normal thing of childhood, and with how few normal experiences Damian has, they didn't want ruin something this harmless; even if Damian was getting a little old to be carrying his comfort blanket almost everywhere he went. Though everyone except Jason found the blanket itchy and would lightly complain about it if Damian brought it near.
(I did a spit take when I saw this ask, but I love it lmaooo)
Damian woke up to his circadian rhythm naturally, but as he tried to shuffle out of his bed, the air seemed too cold and his blankets too cozy. Eventually, he stopped struggling and just let himself be swallowed back into his sheets, rubbing his face against his soft blanket.
It was an intricately patterned blanket, with one fluffy side that was pure black with the other side being one of a wooly side that had the pattern, one with red-orange and turquoise colors.
This blanket had kept him warm for many years and although it occasionally pained Damian to admit it, this blanket was his greatest source of comfort and protection. He loved it very much. After all, even when he didnât have his Mother around to hold him, he had the blanket.
Eventually, as the morning continued and Damian could no longer find excuses to stay in bed, he eventually crawled out from underneath his covers, his blanket wrapped around him like a hooded cape. Tucking the ends around his neck, he took the long, arduous trek out of his room to the kitchen.
Stephanie passed him on the way, freeloading off of them as always before she blinked at the sight of Damian cocooned in his blanket.
She smiled and cooed. âAwww, are you cold, Dami?â She teased, reaching over to ruffle his hair through the blanket. However, she quickly pulled her hand back with a wince. âOw! Static!â
Damian rolled his eyes. âWhatever, Brown. I am not cold, I am merely⌠protecting myself against you cretins if you decide to ambush me at breakfast.â
Stephanie raised an eyebrow before she muttered to herself, âI guess it is true that your blankie is always clean, somehowâŚâ
âIt is not a blankie! Do not call it disrespectful names!â Damian retorted but wanted to swallow back his tongue at the leering look in Stephanieâs eyes. Thankfully, she didnât say another word before they arrived.
When they both stepped into the dining hall, Tim spotted them first. âMorning,â he mumbled with a yawn, before shoving more pancakes into his mouth. Jason looked up from his plate and then stood up, rounding the table and then picking up Damian silently. He went back to his seat, placing Damian on his lap like a hot water bottle.
Damian scowled but ultimately did not complain.
The combination of Jasonâs body heat and his beloved blanket made for a heavenly experience.
Tim snorted. âI donât know how you can manhandle Damian when heâs wrapped up like that. Actually, I donât know how you do it either, Damian. That blanket is so itchy!â
âAgreed! It keeps giving me static shocks, too!â Stephanie complained.
âIt does not!â Damian complained, stroking the back of his fluffy blanket. One side was fluffy, the other side was soft, and this blanket had never failed him in doing its duties. âYou must have sensitive skin or something.â Damian snorted contemptuously. âMy skin is much tougher than you two. That must be why you canât handle it.â
Jason snorted. âJust shut up and eat, demon brat. You definitely talk too much.â Then he jumped, jostling Damian. âOw! Static!â
âSee?!â Stephanie cried. âI swear that thing has a mind of its own!â
Tim grumbled, âYeah, and itâs on Damianâs side.â
Damian couldnât help but stick out his tongue. Jason pulled his plate over to his side and as if trying to appease him, began feeding him blueberry pancakes. Damian allowed it, wrapping his blanket around him tighter, nuzzling into its warm confines and soft, comforting fabric as he chewed syrup soaked pancakes.
He could admit sometimes that his blanket was definitely strange and probably enchanted.
But no matter what, it was his. And Damian would be damned if anyone took it away!
*tosses you guys fem!Wes x Steph before I run away*
Can any of you guess what theme Iâm doing/going for this June? >:3
Btw, if youâre wondering why Iâm not writing as much as I usually do, itâs bc Iâm lost in the sauce (addicted to ACNH and filling up the museum đ). Iâll try my best to continue writing so feel free to continue sending me asks, but it might take a little while!!
What if: we combined 'little shit Danny' who looks like one of the bat kids, and Bruce running oon little to only 8 hours within the last 4 days.
Batman going home from patrol, having had only 8 hours if sleep withing the last 4 almost 5 days because of patrol, Work, galas and business meetings back to back.
Also batman, running into Danny sitting on a roof eating a sub sandwich.
Batman: what are you doing here. Your meant to be at home. Your benched remember. *heavy sigh* whatever I'll just take you back myself.
Danny: huh? Wait-what? No side, I think your mistaking me-
Batman: up we go. Home time. Then I'm gonna make sure your going to bed then me or else penny one is gonna have my head.
- - - -
Danny in the Batcave with a de cowl'd batman, revealing Bruce Wayne's face. Danny still eating his sandwich as Batman aka Bruce lectures him about properly watching your health and injuries especially with a missing spleen, which told Danny that whoever Bruce/Batman thought he was, was missing a spleed.
Danny quickly sensing a message to his sister jazz letting her know he's sorta been kidnapped by a new Fruitloop and activates his tracker.
Jazz: OMW
Also jazz- sprinting to Danny's location across roofs with a creep stick in hand and her eyes slowly starting to glow because of her liminality.
Tim walking down into the Batcave not long later but then pausing eyes directly on Danny as they have a stare off.
Tim: uhhh. B?
B looking at Danny thinking he spoke: hmm?
Tim: B...
B slightly confused: how are you talking. Your mouth isn't moving?
Danny still chewing on his sandwich lifting his hand and pointing to Tim behind Bruce.
Que Bruce looking back and forth between Tim and Danny, eyes squinted as he tries to clear his bleary eyes.
B: but. Your sat here. But your also stood there... What?
Tim: B. That's not me...
B looking at Danny: then who's this?
Tim: HOW AM I MEANT TO KNOW?!
Danny: Hi. I'm the kid you kidnapped, most likely thinking I was your son. But I'm not. And now I know that Batman is Bruce Wayne. Which honeatly. Did not see that coming. I owe Wes sooo much money... Oh god, I can't let Wes know. I'mma be broke. More than I already am...
Then you have Tim and Bruce stood there confused out of their minds as they slowly realise what's happened. Then Tim leave to go get Alfred leaving Bruce and Danny still in the cave.
Not long later jazz shows up running down one of the long entrances/exits for the vehicles holding the creep stick panting, out of breath, and then running up to Bruce about to swing.
B: Babs? Is that you? But. Your walking... Your legs are better. Oh I'm so happy. It's amazing. Your better again. Your dad must be so happy.
Also B- going up to a stunned frozen jazz and hugging her.
Jazz: huh?
Danny: I think he's either concussed or just mentally unwell. Or both. Who knows.
B: your standing again. It's amazing. It's-
Tim who just came down stairs with Alfred: B... What did you do now...
B turning around with a slight smile: TIM! It's Barbra. She's walking again! It's amazing!
Tim: B... That's not Barbra...
B: what? But...
Alfred with the most disappointed look known to man kind: Master Bruce. Miss Barbra is still in the library helping the other still on patrols.
B:... Then who...
Alfred : master Bruce. I'd advise you go to bed before you make more mistakes, you have already exposed your identity. Now, if you do notgo to bed within the next 10 minutes I will personally prevent you from patrolling. I have already been lenient these last 5 days.
B: but-
Alfred: NOW.
B: yup. Bed. Going. Got it.
The following minutes are filled with silence as Bruce hurries to get out of his costume and up the elevator all while Alfred follows him with his gaze alone.
Jazz: huh?
Danny grinning: turns out Batman is Bruce Wayne.
Jazz looking frazzled, confused and still holding her creep stick as if she's gonna swing: wha...
Alfred:my apologies. It appears master Bruce isn't in the best state of mind due to a lack of sleep. Would you like some tea? How may I address you two?.
Jazz: I uhh... Yeah. Tea...
Danny: I'm Danny. This is my sister, Jazz.
Alfred: very well, master Danny, miss Jazz. I will bring some tea shortyl, I hope master Tim is able to get you comfortable while you wait.
Tim: sure thing Alfie.
Following this you get Tim leading Danny and Jazz to a sitting area in the cave, then Alfred coming down with a tray of tea, and decaf coffee for Tim.
Tim proceeds to explain to the two that they were mistaken as him and a family friend who is similar to a sibling due to similar appearances.
Later on Dick, Jason and Steph walk into the cave before freezing realizing that there are civilians and they've take off their masks. They proceed to try and replace them before Tim stops them and tells them Bruce had already messed up.
Tim, Danny and Jazz explain what happened which leads them to bursting in laughter.
- - - -
Jason: wait. I get how Danny got in here. But, how did you get in here?
Jazz: oh... Well, Danny keeps a tracker on his phone in case of emergency that let's me know where he is when he activates it.
Jason: okay, fair. But that still doesn't explain how you got in here, because the exits are all blocked off or unaccesible because they're through the manor.
Jazz: oh, I just followed his tracker, realized he was somewhere that isn't available on foot so I just started phasing through the wall till I got in that tunnel.
Jason: you what?
Jazz: I phased through the wall.
Danny: Jazz... I think your for getting something...
Jazz: what?
Danny: normal people don't phase through walls...
Jazz: what do you- oh. Oh, fuck.
Danny: yeah.
Dick: well... That's cool. We've got metals in here. Duke's gonna be happy. He should be coming down in a few hours to start patrol too.
Duke: nope, already here. I noticed no one had come upstairs yet other than Bruce and got curious.
Steph: HOLY SHIT! Don't sneak up on us like that!
Duke: are you guys really metas? What can you do? I can control light and shadows.
Steph: hey don't just ig-
Jazz: well. Yeah I guess we count as metas, because that category is broad anyway. I can phase through stuff, have increase strength, and emotionally affected fire hair, glowing eyes and fangs, and mild pyro-kinesis.
Duke: swe-heet. What about you dude?
Danny: oh well, strength, fly, invisibility, intagibility/phase through shit, glowing, ice powers... And yeah. That's the basics, yeahthere is more but that other stuff. ... I'm less meta more half human though. So..
Duke: cool~
Dick: hey, why do you guys call it phasing and not density shifting. Isn't that the same?
Jazz: well not exactly. Density shifting is the act of being able to manipulate your density to a molecular level so that you can pass through the molecules of another object. However, it can be blocked with a night dense material.
Danny: whereas phasing is essentially the act of going momentarily intangible while maintaining your density, or more accurately control ably not just momentarily.
Steph: ... Yeah that's too much words for me.
Dick: basically, density shifting -you can still be touched and blocked by some stuff and change how physical you are on the tiny scale. Phasing- you ignore laws of science to not be able to be touched and ignore how thick something is. Right?

God damn it EDA! I'm trying to do shit here! Why do you and your askers have to be so damn creative!!? (I love your community^_^)
A prelude of sorts to the ask story about Jason and Jazz living a decade or two together in the GZ but six months in DC's living world.
As Jason sat in the Batcave, holding actual proof that his "delusions" actually weren't delusions. The fact that everyone's positions and mannerisms as they waited on the DNA test mirrored their original reactions to his memories sparked him to think back on those reactions.
Tim had always been the most adamant that they were merely delusions and he needed to let them go. He gave Jason a wide berth and even while Jason sat disarmed and holding little Ella did not turn his back on the man.
Bruce was at the batcomputer watching it run the DNA. He'd suggested Jason write a fiction story about his "dreams." Jason was pretty sure that advice had actually come from Harley or Dinah.
Dick had relatively free roam and clearly couldn't sit still. He'd never suggested dealing with or forgetting the memories. But Jason knew his older brother had never believed them to be real. The way the man, who'd experienced hallucinations of Jason himself, looked at him with understanding sympathy was proof enough of that.
Steph, Duke, and Damian all had basically ignored the "delusions." Treating them like a quirk of dealing with Jason. If you were patrolling with Nightwing you expected bad puns and feats of contortion that seemed impossible. If Red Hood let you patrol with him you expected longing sighs and gunshots.
Cass though was the one sitting next to Jason. The only one he'd let take the DNA samples, or touch his child. Cass and Jason did not normally get along. She despised the fact that he killed people. And she knew the only reason he'd switched to tranqs and rubber was because he was lonely. He was only willing to put up with non-lethal, and even then only while in Gotham, because it was required to stay on the family's good side. She knew he considered them a pale imitation of what little he could remember. And he was willing to compromise to capture even that little piece of what he'd once had.
As for why Cass was given special privilege. That came down to her reaction to learning about the memories.
Jason and Tim were in the Batcave arguing about the memories. It was the first time Cass had seen this particular fight. Tim was adamantly telling Jason to go to therapy and forget his delusions. Jason was arguing back about how they weren't delusions. It was getting more and more heated until the green started to creep into Jason's eyes. That's when Cass jumped in to stop the fight. Everyone was shocked because they expected her to be facing Jason ready to put him down. And while she was right up close to Jason it was Tim she was facing. She was completely facing away from Jason even though the green was clearly seeping into his eyes. Then she spoke, loudly and clearly she announced one word to the entire cave, "Real!"
Part 1
(I canât say I disagree, the anons and non-anons are super creative XD)
When the results showed that Ella was 100% his daughter, Jason wasnât surprised.
Ella sat in his lap, staring straight at Cass, who looked right back at her. The two of them seemed to be having an impromptu staring contest, but Jason didnât mind as he held his daughter close.
Everyone else stared at him in shocked disbelief. Dick stared at Ella in wonder while Tim and Damian looked conflicted. Bruce, meanwhile, looked constipated as he asked, âWhatâs⌠whatâs her name?â
Jason hummed. âHey, baby, câmon and introduce yourself to your grandpa and uncles and aunts.â
Dick choked on his breath but Jason ignored him as Ella pulled her gaze away from Cass and said, in a firm voice, âMy name is Elinor Catherine Nightingale and Iâm 6 years old. You can call me Ella!â
She looked back at Jason with bright eyes and he beamed at her. âGood job!â
âHello, Ella,â Cass said, taking her hand and shaking it lightly.
Ella smiled sweetly. âHello, Auntie Cass.â
Stephanie squealed and then darted forward. âMe too! Me too! Call me Auntie Steph!â
âHello, Auntie Steph.â
Stephanie jumped up and down from the adorableness. Damian finally had enough and also approached, and by then, Dick jumped in and wanted to introduce himself to Ella too. Then everyone was scrambling for her attention, all except Bruce, who stared between her and Jason with a strange gaze.
Jason raised an eyebrow. âWhat is it?â
âWho is her mother?â He asked.
Jason shrugged. âYou wouldnât know her. If my theory is correct, then that was an entirely different dimension that is connected through the spiritual veil. None of you existed in that world either.â
Bruce frowned. âBut youâre 21 right now. Are you seriously going to keep a 6 year old daughter? We should find a way to send her back.â
Jason snorted coldly. âWho said that Iâm staying here? The moment my wife comes to pick us up, Iâm leaving with her.â
There was a pause from everyone. Then they all screamed, âWHAT?!?â
Bruce was furious as he said, âJason! There is no need for this!â
Jason sneered. âIâm not arguing with you in front of my daughter. When my wife comes, Iâm leaving with her. I already have a family.â He took a deep breath. âAnd I donât need the rest of you.â
He then buried his face into his daughterâs curly hair to avoid looking at them. There was a burst of arguments and yelling, but he ignored them as Ella patted the arms around her waist and Cass silently put a hand on his arm too.
It was true after all. Jason did not need them. He had died at 15 and basically grew up together with Jazz. He wasnât sure what was going on with the damn timeline, but he knew this.
No matter what, he wanted his wife and his kids.
And there was no way in hell he was willing to let himself suffer for this goddamn city that wouldnât even let him kill the Joker.
Listen, he's stuck all summer at a camp full of people that would kill him if they found out what he is. Danny is going to get himself out of there as much as possible.
Most of his excursions take him to the other side of the lake where there's a little town with a little convenience store. He can buy off brand junk food and there's a little rack of magazines that sometimes have something interesting to peruse. It just so happens that the one time he finds something truly interesting - a magazine with Dumpty Humpty on the cover - someone else tries to get it first. This is how he meets Stephanie in human form.
They end up spending the afternoon hanging out together, sharing the magazine and snacks and bonding over how isolated the lake is from the rest of society.
The first half of summer feels normal like that. They text each other on days they're apart and hangout whenever they have a free day from "camp activities." In the evenings, though they don't know it yet, they hang out in ghost form.
Their siblings call it a summer romance and the sixteen year olds will deny it with blushing faces. To Stephanie, Danny is a cute boy she didn't grow up seeing every summer like every other boy at camp. To Danny, Stephanie is a cute girl that has no idea his family has a reputation for being nutjobs.
Maybe they never see each other after summer ends, but they'll enjoy these few months together.

Jazz takes charge of organizing all activities and knowing everyone's business throughout the summer. She's catalogued all the hunters staying at the camp, ranking them on a scale of ecto blob (barely considered ghost hunters) to Fenton (top of the ghost hunting field).
As Danny and Dani take to scoping out the lake, Jazz also keeps track of all the ghosts hanging around the area, encouraging Danny to do weekly patrols to make sure none of them have been captured.
The other hunters praise her for following in her parents' footsteps, taking her interest in everyone's work as a sign that she's really taken to the field while her brother runs around anywhere but the hunter camp. It makes it all the easier to keep tabs and will be great "volunteer" hours to add to her college work.
The Saja Girls look amazing! You just have this way of drawing temptresses and tempters. You just breathe such... power and delight into people when they're seducing someone. It's kinda like the vampire bad boys used to be. They scream "You're going to give me everything, and you're going to love doing it."
FUCK a dead silent scene just popped into my head, and now I feel I should share it with you.
The batfam realize something is wrong with Cass. She started acting really weird... and... touchy... like in a bad way. Sure she's always been more of a physical person than a talkative one (Thanks David -_-) but now it's bordering on... inappropriate. They've called Zatanna to come check it out. She said she's on her way and warned them to NOT let her get "with" anyone because she might have a demon of some kind inside her.
They're not too worried. The media already knows she's a bit of a homebody, so keeping her locked up in the manor won't look weird. The only thing they're worried about is Danny. They haven't been able to get a hold of him, and he's famously unable to resist his badass girlfriend.
Well, speak of the devil. Danny suddenly pops up in the foyer and flat-out announces that he's tired and wants to relax and unwind with Cass. He spots her and she shoots him a look that says "I'm going to rock your world and make you beg for me."
Everything seems to pause for a second. Before anyone can warn him, Danny absolutely blasts towards Cass. Now everyone's alarms are blaring for several reasons. But Danny rockets through Cass. He comes out on the other side with some random demon in one of his claws looking more furious than many of them have ever seen him.
(Context
Yay! Tysm! I'm honestly sick and tired of people who force girls to be manly simply bc they don't like a girl doing girly things when winning against men. That's why I love drawing long nails and pretty clothes when my girls are being badasses :D)
Everyone recoiled at the sight of the red and smoky being in front of him.
"What the hell is that?!" Jason cried, his All-Blades immediately sliding into his hands.
As Cass fell in a dead faint, Stephanie quickly darted forward to catch her and then both of them pulled back.
"A lust demon," Danny sneered. His hand tightened around the thing's throat. "You thought that you could drain her and her family's life forces by being clingy, huh? And then you could seduce me? Rethink again. Your filthy tricks can't fool me."
A green fire burst out of Danny's hands and the demon screamed with a heartbreaking wail. It struggled within Danny's grip, but eventually, its writhing weakened until it was a twitching piece of jerky.
Steph asked tremblingly, "I-Is it dead?"
"No," Danny said coldly, as he turned to drag the demon out the door with him. "It's not dead. But it'll wish it was after I bring this thing to the Ghost Zone for interrogation."
Everyone winced, seeing his fury plain on his face.
Tim asked, "Wait! Danny, what about Cass?"
Danny's gaze softened. "She'll be okay. Just let her sleep for a little while, she may feel uncomfortable but there shouldn't be lasting effects on her. It'll take me a little while to come back, soâ"
"I'll wait for you," a voice interrupted and everyone turned to look at Cass, who sat up in Steph's arms. She looked tired, but still smiled at Danny softly. "I'll wait for you to come back... 'kay? We'll watch movies... unwind, and I'll ask Alfred to make dinner."
Like the clouds parting to reveal the sun, the smile on Danny's face was extremely warm and almost blinding, unlike his murderous rage from before.
"Okay. Wait for me to come home, starlight," Danny said, almost a coo before he excitedly waved and then flew off happily.
Still dragging the burnt body of the lust demon behind him.
"That guy is so two faced," Jason muttered under his breath, resheathing his All-Blades.
The rest of them all shared a look in silent, weary agreement, not looking at Cass' smitten gaze to avoid hurting their eyes.

The Ghost Investigation Ward âcolloquially known as either G.I.W. or "Guys in White" by Amity Parkersâ had started to become a serious problem for Danny.
At first, they werenât anything he couldnât handle. Just a more trigger-happy version of his parents, except with government funding and more manpower, meaning they caused more collateral damage than even Jackâs driving on a bad day. But then something changed.
It started after the passage of the Anti-Ecto Laws in the United States âDanny still wasnât sure how the G.I.W. managed to push those through. After that, their numbers grew. Their agents were better trained, better equipped, and their aim had actually improved. It still wasnât enough to pose a real threatâDanny could dodge and lose them with easeâbut it did elevate them from an annoying joke to an actual concern.
Then they started capturing ghosts. Not the sentient ones âat least, not yetâ but even that was too much for Danny to ignore. He began breaking into their bases near Amity Park, freeing the captured spirits whenever he could. That, in turn, escalated things even further. Phantom was already Enemy Number One to the G.I.W., but now they were hunting him with even more fervor. And, as if that wasnât bad enough, Jack and Maddie took this as a challenge, upgrading their weapons and stepping up their own ghost-hunting game.
All of this meant Danny was exhausted. It was starting to show âat school, at home. Not that Jack or Maddie noticed; they were too busy obsessing over their tech. But Jazz noticed. So did the ghosts who fought him. And against all odds, they started to worry. Word of Dannyâs condition eventually reached Frostbite, who took it upon himself to check in on him.
What he found deeply concerned him. The stress, the constant fighting, the sleepless nights âit was all taking a toll on Dannyâs core. If it continued, it could have serious consequences. Frostbite urged him to take a break, to leave Amity Park for a while and recover. But Danny refused. If he left, who would protect the town? Who would stop the G.I.W.? Frostbite assured him that he and his tribe could handle it, but Danny wasnât convinced.
That is, until everything went wrong.
During one of his break-ins at a G.I.W. facility, an agent managed to land a shot âsome kind of specialized ecto-weapon that temporarily disabled his flight and intangibility. He had freed the ghosts, but now he was stranded in enemy territory with armed agents closing in.
Desperate for an escape, Danny ducked into a random room âand found himself staring at a car. A Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II.
It was sleek, elegant, and completely out of place in a government black site. The only unusual detail was a strange, robotic, head-like symbol on the grille guard. But Danny didnât have time to question it. The doors were unlocked, so he jumped in and immediately started hotwiring it.
It took a few tries âand a lot more ecto-energy than it should haveâ but finally, the engine roared to life. Then something weird happened.
Before his eyes, the Phantomâs pristine exterior shifted âits paint morphing into a sharp black-and-white color scheme, the interior taking on a black-and-green color and with a faint green glow. And then, to Dannyâs complete shock, the car spoke.
It sounded confused. Disoriented. Like it was trying to understand why it was alive, when it had been so sure it was dead.
Danny, however, didnât have time for an existential crisis âhis or the carâs.
âSave the questions for later,â he snapped, slamming his foot on the gas.
The car obeyed, tearing out of the base at breakneck speed.
Once they were clear of pursuit, Danny finally exhaled. He transformed back into his human form, only to realize that, somehow, the car transformed with him. It still spoke. It still moved on its own. And it still had questions.
Danny, meanwhile, had one of his own.
Maybe Frostbite was right. Maybe it was time to leave Amity Park.
But where would he even go?
Then it hit him âGotham.
Jazz had mentioned thinking of going there to study psychology. Maybe she wouldnât mind if he tagged along? He remembered his parents saying Gotham had an abnormally high level of ambient ectoplasm, which would make tracking ghosts incredibly difficult the last time they had visited the place with them. That could work to his advantage.
Danny glanced at the car.
âHey,â he said, âyou got anywhere to be?â
The car didn't answer him with words this time. It simply rumbled, almost thoughtful.
Danny smirked.
âYeah. Me neither.â
Looks like they would probably be heading to Gotham after all.
This is the first half of a continuation of the previous short story, even though it takes place before that part.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Danny cradled little Eleanor âEllieâ gently in his arms, the newborn slept soundly, unaware of the chaos that had just unfolded. Heâd taken her into his arms after everything had been sorted out at the hospital regarding her custody âTechnus had played a key role, ensuring the process went smoothly and keeping everything under wraps; The old ghost had insisted this was repayment for Danny saving him from being âendedâ.
Now, with Ellie nestled against him, Danny couldnât shake the uneasy feeling that gnawed at him. Jazz had given him a parenting book, and Technus had promised to keep the ghosts away from Amity Park for the week, claiming that the birth of a âghost childâ was a momentous occasion ânever mind the fact that Ellie wasnât a ghost and Danny had no idea whether sheâd inherited any of his powers. It was a small blessing, and he figured he should use the time to get a crash course in fatherhood.
But after that, what then? The ghosts would return to attacking Amity Park, of that he was certain. But how would he keep the city safe while caring for Ellie? And school âhe couldnât exactly bring her with him. Jazz would help for a while, but he couldnât expect her to sacrifice her time indefinitely, especially when he wanted her to focus on her own life as well âHe couldnât keep asking her to look after Ellie while he was at school or off fighting ghosts. He needed a solution, and fast. Either heâd have to figure out a way to stop the ghosts from attacking altogether or find someone who could look after Ellie for him.
â Hey, Danny, -Jazzâs voice called, pulling him from his thoughts. He turned to see her standing in the doorway, her eyes softening as she looked down at the bundle in his arms.- Is that her?
â Yeah, -Danny replied, his voice quieter than usual.- Want to see her?
Jazz didnât need to be asked twice. She quickly stepped toward him, and Danny shifted his arms slightly, just enough for her to get a better view. As she looked down at the tiny sleeping baby, Ellie frowned slightly, wriggling as though trying to snuggle closer to Dannyâs chest.
â Sheâs so cute, -Jazz murmured, a smile tugging at her lips as she gently pulled the blanket aside to get a better look at Ellie.- Hard to believe sheâs your daughter.
â Hey! -Danny chuckled quietly, but the tone was playful.- Watch it, Jazz.Â
He kept his voice low enough to avoid waking Ellie, though he couldn't help but grin at his sister's teasing. Jazz only smirked in return, unfazed.Â
She lingered for a moment, cooing at the baby with a warmth in her voice before reluctantly letting go of the blanket. As Danny brought Ellie closer to him, she settled back down, her frown disappearing into a peaceful sleep.
â I take it everything went well back in Gotham? -Jazz asked, and Danny nodded, looking more at ease.
â Yeah, Technus kept his word down to a T, -Danny replied.- The paperwork went smoothly, and he made sure no one would find out Stephanieâs her mom.
â I still donât get why she wanted to keep that hidden, -Jazz said, her frown deepening.
â She probably just wanted to keep her safe, -Danny said, his tone serious.- With how unhinged the Joker and some of the other rogues of Gotham are, I wouldnât put it past them to go after Ellie if they ever got their hands on Stephanie.
â Maybe, but something still doesnât sit right with me, -Jazz replied, her voice laced with concern.- Anyway, have you told her you made it back to Amity safe? I know you still have her number on your phone.
â Not yet, -Danny said, bouncing his arms a little when Ellie started to fuss.- Iâm waiting a bit longerâgotta make sure it fits with my cover story of getting Vlad to lend me his private jet.
â You couldâve told her you were a meta with portaling abilities, -Jazz said, a teasing glint in her eyes.- Wouldnât have been that hard to keep up, right?
Danny frowned, not sharing her amusement.
â And how would I explain it when no meta records come up when we registered Ellie at the hospital? -He replied, glancing down at his daughter.- Besides, even though I trust Stephanie a lot, I donât think itâs a good idea for her to find out about my powers. Itâs safer for her that way.
Jazz gave him a skeptical look, but Danny didnât meet her gaze. She didnât push the matter further, but the doubt still lingered. Instead, she moved on to another issue.
â Sam and Tucker are downstairs, -Jazz said, watching as Dannyâs head snapped up in surprise, his gaze sharp.- I managed to keep them occupied for now, but I think they suspect somethingâs going on.
Dannyâs frown deepened, and he sighed.
â I knew Iâd have to tell them the truth about my weird behavior over the last eight months, -He admitted, rubbing a hand over his face.- But I didnât think itâd be this soon.
Jazz placed a hand on his shoulder, her expression sympathetic.
â Better to rip the band-aid off now than let it fester, -She said gently.
Danny took a deep breath, his resolve firming up.
â I know, -He said, eyes hardening as he squared his shoulders.- Youâre coming with me, right?
Jazz gave him a soft smile and squeezed his shoulder lightly before removing her hand.
â Of course, -She said.- Did you really think Iâd let you go through this alone?
â Never, -Danny said with a slight smile, his mood shifting slightly. He took a deep breath and headed for the door, his footsteps steady.- I guess itâs showtime, then.
