It had only been a few days since the couple had been home with their new baby - and needless to say, they both fell more in love with the little girl with each minute that passed.
Zach was especially clingy toward his newborn, seeing as he would always hog her when people where over, and how he would refuse to leave her side unless it was necessary, people could see that the small girl already had him wrapped around her finger.
It had become a nightly ritual that Zach would hold his baby in his arms, singing Her to sleep for the night. Although his raspy voice would make one assume that he would be singing loudly to her, his voice would barely be audible from anyone who was listening outside the room as he sang sweetly to his daughter.
"I know you've been fussy today, but I'm gonna need you to work with me for once." He smiles at the infant, as they sit on the single seater chair in the corner of the nursery.
"Although it seems like you don't need much convincing with those tired eyes." He chuckles lightly as he watched her eyes slowly droop from exhaustion. "Probably from all that screaming you did today."
He had always said that his daughter had been beautiful from the moment she popped out, but it was moments like these that really made his heart happy, as he stared at her, taking in the thing that he had made with someone he loved so much.
"Looks like we'll skip our concert for the night, princess, you need your sleep, and honestly, so do I. Sleep tight, baby, I'll be here when you wake up." He gently gets off the chair, and puts the baby into her crib, making sure she's comfortable, before making his way out, and toward the bed.
As he laid in bed, realizing this was the moment that he had been craving for the last few days - the moment that he could hold his partner, and they could both get a good nights rest, but instead, he feels like he was missing a part of himself. He knew what that missing pet was, but he had always been told to not wake a sleeping baby, so instead he filled his time with something else, not the sleep he so desperately needed, but rather the other creation in his life that he also loved - his music.
He stayed up all night writing songs about his bundle of joy, not realizing how long he had been busy, and before he knew it, his ears rang with the cries of his newborn.

"Dad I don't like this." The 6-year-old practically screamed at her father as another lightning strike hit.
Zach smiles at his daughter who had buried herself in Daniel's bunk of the tour bud, seeing as it was the only one she could reach without someone's help. Zach walks over quickly, yanking open the bunks curtain to find his daughter curled up, crying over the loud booms that had been carried in through the rain.
"Everything's okay, it's just some noise okay, remember how loud uncle Daniel is when he plays? This is just like that." Zach tries to reason, earring a gasp from his daughter.
"Uncle Daniel makes rain?"
"Of course! Who else would make it?" Zach smiles as she makes her way out of the bunk into his arms. He lifts her up, and carries her toward the small window on the side of the bus.
"Just before the loud noise comes, a big listening bolt comes down and tells us that it's gonna be loud, just like when uncle Daniel had his drum solo, remember all those sparks?" Zach explains, deciding to stick to blaming Daniel for the thunder and lightning.
"Wow, he's definitely magic." The little girl day in wonder, staring out as she awaits the next lightning bolt.
Zach watches as his little girl giggles at the strobe of light that falls from the sky, and he can't help but join in on the laughter as she lets out a belly laugh at the sound that had scared her only minutes prior.
"Do you think uncle Daniel will stop playing drums soon?" She asks innocently, hoping to see her uncle as soon as she could.
"Maybe. I've heard that he figured out a new solo, so this could go on for a little longer, do you mind?"
"Nope, he's a good drummer." The little girl quickly looses focus on the noises after a while of looking out the window, but not once does damiano take his eyes off her, almost envious of her innocence over everything in the world.

"Dad! I can't find my earring's!" She shouts from upstairs.
"And shouting at me is going to help you find them?" He smirks at her, making her smirk back.
Zach makes his way upstairs, wanting to calm his daughter down before she looses her head in the process. He walks toward her room, watching as she frantically looks around, hoping to find some clue as to where her new earrings are.
"Find anything?" He asks as he leans against the doorframe.
"No! And now I'm gonna be late, but I don't want to cry and mess up my makeup." She says, very clearly upset over the fact that everything seemed to be going wrong.
He walks up to her, giving her a tight hug, making sure not to smudge her makeup as he calms her down.
"Which earrings are you looking for? we can look together, hopefully it'll go faster if we do."
"The emerald green dangly ones I bought last week." She looks up at him with hopeful eyes.
"Cheer up, we'll find them." She breaths in and out a few times, calming down even more as they pull away and start searching.
It only takes a few minutes for Zach to spot the earrings on her desk, under one of the eyeshadow palettes that she had been using.
With a hug and a kiss on the cheek, she grabs the earrings from her dad, and makes her way downstairs toward her patient date for the prom.
Zach makes his way back downstairs, watching as his partner takes pictures of his little girl and her partner, both looking extremely smart in their outfits of choice.
"Now, you two go have fun. Don't do anything I wouldn't, and definitely don't do anything that I would do." He smiles at them as they laugh at his jokes, before walking out the house and toward their rented limo.
Zach and his partner wave as the couple is driven away.
They make their way back inside, trying to find things that can distract them from imagining the possibilities of something going wrong.
Zach heads straight for his home studio, making sure to put his stress into something productive.

The moment that changed their lives forever was the day that Zach's partner sadly passed away.

"We have news!" She shouted as she walked into her dads kitchen, grasping a neatly wrapped present for her father.
"What is it this time?" He jokingly said to her, as he focused his attention away from the dishes that he had been doing.
She slides him the gift with a smile on her face, desperately anticipating the moment that he would realize what her news had been.
"For me!" Zach sighs dramatically, making his daughter laugh.
"Yes, for you. Now open it, I'm dying keeping it to myself." She copied his dramatic attitude.
He slowly unwraps the paper around the box, just to annoy her. She groans loudly, making him laugh as he picked up the pace.
Opening the small box, and lifting up the tissue paper, his face goes blank, as he processes.
"You're pregnant?" He says in complete disbelief.
"Yes." She says unsure of what his reaction is.
He slowly turns his face toward her, and after two minutes of a silent staring contest, he breaks into a smile, before running to his daughter and engulfing her in a hug.

Getting that call at 3 in the morning was something that completely shocked his daughter, yet after months of trying to make him better, it wasn't something that crossed her mind.
He was on his last leg when she arrived at the hospital, ready to part ways with the man that had always been there for her, no matter her flaws, or weaknesses.
Her whole life she had spent wondering what she would be like without him, and now her unfortunate wondering mind had caused her to feel so much guilt over her not savoring every minute with him.
"Dad?" She whispers as she reaches his bed. Zach slowly turns to her, a brief smile on his lips as he views her.
"How are you feeling?" She asks again, knowing she won't get an answer from him - as he practically became mute since he was admitted into this bed.
She glanced out his window to his room, seeing the thunder and lightning strike in different areas of the city.
"Uncle Daniel seems to be practicing a lot tonight." She says to her dad, who looks at her with a soft smile, remembering the days when he was young and could enjoy the rain, but now it reminds him of what he had lost over the years.
"Do you feel like doing anything?" She tried again, she knew that he wouldn't answer, but she also knew that by asking these questions, he would know she still loved him. He later back on the bed, shutting his eyes, indicating that he wanted to sleep.
"I'll be right here if you need me, okay?" She gave his hand a squeeze, before making herself comfortable.
She slowly started to fall asleep at his side, still holding his hand. Very quickly her dreams were interrupted by the sounds of her father flatlining, as he was finally free from all the pain that he had felt over the last few months.
"Hun, I'm not saying that you're not allowed to join the whole music scene, I'm just saying that you should look at your opinions first."
I had known how hard it is to be in the industry, after meeting Daniel, I figured out pretty quickly that the music industry is a lot more destructive then everyone lets on. I knew that eventually our son would want to follow in his dads footsteps, but never had I imagined it would be so soon.
"You wouldn't understand! You never understand, this is why I should've spoken to dad first, he would let me do whatever I want!" Dominic yells at me, making me scrunch my face in shock.
"Your father would say the exact same thing, if not, he would be even more against it!" I yell back. Dom gets off the island stool, and walks over to his backpack, yanking it up. "And where are you going?" I ask him, my tone still very annoyed.
"Somewhere that I know people will support me!" He grabs his hoodie off the couch, still pretty much screaming at me.
"I do support you, I just want you to look at your options first." I try calm down, and get him to do the same.
"You don't want me to follow my dreams, that's okay. Just know that you'll never see me again if you don't let me do this." He says calmly.
"Of course I want you to follow your dreams! But I know how brutal it can be in that line of work, you're not ready for that, Dominic."
"Glad to know you have so much faith in me." He spits, opening the door with force, and walking out, before grabbing his bike and hopping on. "This is your last chance." He screams, the tears present in his eyes.
"Hun, you don't need to do this." I try reason with him, knowing that if he did leave, I will see him again, but he would definitely be away for a few weeks.
"See you never." He scoffs, pushing on his pedals down the driveway.
Getting desperate at this point, I run with him, down the driveway, screaming his name, yet he never gives me a second glance as he disappears into the night.
"Hey! What's happening?" Daniel says to me, grabbing my face in his hands as he watches me break down.
"He's gone." I sob into his chest, I already knew that he knew what I was talking about, it was clear that Dom was always very passionate about his music, which sometimes put him in a lot of danger.

It had been two weeks since we saw Dom, a few days after he left, one of his friends' moms had called me and said that he was okay, and that he was staying with them for a while, and while I didn't like the idea of him pretending to be in another family, I would rather know he was doing that, then being completely clueless to his whereabouts.
"Anything?" Daniel steps into the kitchen, a worried look on his face.
"No." I look down at my hands, trying not to cry for the hundredth time that week.
"He'll be okay, I'm sure he'll come back eventually."
"It's his birthday soon, what if he doesn't come back by then?"
"He will, I think we both know our boy loves getting presents, he wouldn't miss out on that." He kisses my head and holds me as tears slip while we both slightly chuckle.

Four months. It's been exactly four months since we've seen him, and I've had absolutely no contact with anyone that he's around. It's hard to be constantly worrying about him, but I guess that's part of being a parent.
8 days ago was his birthday, we tried calling him, but he refused to answer. We even stopped by his friends house in hopes to give him his gift, but unfortunately the two boys were not home, so we just gave it to his friends mother, hoping that she would give it to him.
Daniel and I had gotten tickets in the mail to a gig that Dominic and his band were headlining, we made an effort to get there on time, and get right to the front of the stage, just so Dom could see we would support him, even if we weren't happy about his decisions.
We had gotten right up to the front of the barricade, and surprisingly the whole venue had been filled with their fans, it helped me realize that maybe this whole music thing is right for Dom, although he is young, and there's no doubt that he'll go through hard times if he pursues music, but I do think he's ready.
"Ladies and gentlemen, if I could have your attention please." We hear a loud voice boom throughout the venue. Everyone in the crowd turns to the small bald man standing on stage. "I am sad to announce that the show is unfortunately canceled, the band has told me that they will not be performing tonight, but they wish you all the best, thank you."
I could tell something was wrong, be it from the motherly instinct, or the small man's choice of words, but I knew deep down that something was wrong.
Daniel and I got in the car, bit of us refusing to speak as we drove home, as I think we both knew that what we had been thinking, was the worst option, but I knew deep down, that even though I never wanted to be more wrong, I was right, but until it was confirmed, we would take in the silence, and enjoy the peace.
We got home, staying in complete silence, we walked inside hand in hand. Daniel moved the two one seaters to face out the window of our living room, so we could see the driveway.
We had a silent agreement as we sat down, occupying ourselves with reading until we finally got the confirmation that our thoughts were true.
It had just hit 2am when Daniel finally said something.
"He's okay." He said quietly, taking the late hour as a sign that we were wrong.
But the universe always has a funny way of playing out a situation. Our pain and suffering was humor, and enjoyable for it.
Just as Daniel put his book down, ready to finally head to bed, the blue and red police lights flashed in our driveway. And I'm a second, all our nastiest thoughts and most horrifying dreams had come true.
It felt like in that moment that I broke down, the whole world got put on mute, the only thing I heard was my thunderous heartbeat, and Daniel screaming "NO!" Over and over again, as we both didn't want to face our reality.
Daniel was the one to answer the door. He let in the police officers who then explained that on the way to the gig, Dominic and his 3 friends had all been killed in a freak accident on the freeway. It was now official that my son was dead.
All the pictures on my walls of his smiling face, were nothing more then memories now.
In that moment, I felt nothing but regret, and guilt. Because of me, my son was dead. He left because I didn't want him to get into music and now?
I knew that guilt would be with me for the rest of my life, and nothing could ever make me forget about it. Every time I would see his face I would feel that shame, I would feel loss, and I would feel utterly hopeless.
With the snap of another neck, I'm finished with another days work. Being a trained assassin definitely isn't as fun as the movies make it out to me, trauma alone is honestly crippling some days, but it's really the only thing that I can do.
I had just finished up a job in Italy for a high paying client of mine, who I frequently am hired by.

I walk up the steps of the large mansion, ready to finally hand over the burden of knowing why I had to kill all those people.

I turn around, finally seeing his face, and recognizing him instantly.

"Unfortunately, fate isn't that kind." I walk past him, toward the staircase, making him follow behind me.
"Where are you going?" He clearly let his guard down now that he knows it's just me, but I wasn't going to use it to my advantage, I had better things to do then wait around for him to kill me.
"I'm getting paid." I say simply, walking into the master bedroom, jumping on the bed and opening the large painting behind the bed, to reveal the main safe.
"Done this a lot?" I could hear the smirk in his voice.
"Never actually, seeing as all of my clients have been alive when I return, this is a first." I grab a few bundles of cash and put them in a handbag that I find in the closet, before making my way downstairs again, Zach still hot on my trail.
"Technically I'm supposed to kill you now."
"I think we both know I won't let that happen." I smile sweetly at him as I walk over to their key rack, and grab the keys to their lambo. "Lovely to see you again Herron, I hope it never happens again." I smile and walk out, hoping he'll go steal something and leave me alone while I get my things ready.
"You know, you've changed a lot since high school." He states. I roll my eyes at his comment.
"That's usually what happens when you go into this line of work, you change."
"I haven't?" I look at him, and burst out laughing.
"You haven't changed? Please, you've changed the most, I mean what kind of person completely drops their Hollywood hills lifestyle to be an assassin?"
"Someone who needed a new adventure?" I open the car door, throw the bag in and walk up to him.
"So that's all this is to you? A change in scenery?"
"Pretty much, yeah." He smirks, knowing he's annoying the crap out of me.
"Glad to know that murdering people on the daily is just a new adventure for you, honestly that really tells me a lot about your life." I walk to the car and jump in.
"Where are you off to?" He leans on the open window.
"Somewhere, where I'll hopefully never see you again." I step on the gas, briskly making my way out of the estate, hoping that fate was feeling kind, but then again, when is it ever so kind?
The last few cords of 'For you' sounded out through the living room, it had become almost a tradition for the band to have their rehearsals at my house, considering the room was known for its amazing acoustics.
"Whooooop!" I shouted out, specifically looking at my boyfriend sitting on the couch next to Jonah. He smiles at me before removing the bass and walking over to me. He sits down on my lap teasingly and gives me a quick kiss. "Amazing as ever." I say to him as he pulls away.
"Thanks y/n you know we're in the band too." Daniel jokes, which results in me giving him the finger while he blows me a kiss.
"Alright, who's hungry?" Zach asks, finally getting the break he's been wanting for the last hour.
"Me!" Jonah shouts, raising his hand like a 5 year old, making Jack and I laugh.
"I could eat." Daniel agrees, getting out from behind the drum set and following the other two out the door. "You two aren't coming?" He asks.
"We ate before you guys arrived, we're good." Jack says, half lying.
"Alright, we'll see you later." Corbyn walks out finally, following the other three toward whatever fast food restaurant they could find.
"Well, they're gone now." I look at Jack, leaning back on the chair I was sat on.
"And we're alone?" He smiles, leaning toward me, taking my lips in his as he places his hands on my chest.
I place my hands on his legs, pulling him slightly closer to me, as we continue kissing.
Over the last few weeks, we've barely had any time together. Jack and the band have been away a lot recently due to their growing popularity, which means that I'm left alone for months, not being able to see them. Now that they're home, it feels like every time I do get to see him, the guys are with him, which isn't a problem usually, but when I want to spend quality time with my boyfriend, it can get rather annoying.
Although I can't really see anything other then the negatives of Jack being away, it has given me some time to figure myself out, which I still haven't really discussed with Jack, but now that we're finally alone, I suppose Now is the best time to bring it up.
I hesitantly pull away from his lips, not entirely devoting myself to the idea of coming out to him, but knowing that I had to do it before I chicken out.
"I need to talk to you about something." I say, looking into his eyes, he instantly flashes a confused face, but stays quiet, urging me to carry on talking. "While you've been gone with the band, I've been thinking about myself a lot, and I figured something out and I need to tell you before I freak myself out and get out of actually telling you." I explain.
"What is it?" I could already see that he thought I was going to break up with him, which would never happen in a million years.
"I've always admired certain celebrities for being so open about their sexualities and being open to expressing themselves when it comes to gender and sexuality, and after watching a lot of interviews of those musicians while you were away, I've realised that I've never really explored that side of myself. I knew I like guys,, but I started thinking about how I would react if I was single and got hit on by someone who wasn't male, and honestly I don't think I care who's hitting on me in this metaphorical situation."
He smiles at me as he realizes what I'm trying to do.
"I think I'm pansexual or bisexual? I haven't figured that pet out yet." I finally say, and although saying those words was like lifting a weight off my shoulders, the lead up was honestly painful.
"Thank you for telling me." He gives me a kiss once he finishes speaking. "So, who made you realize that you might not be straight."
"Whattttt?" I say acting oblivious to the fact that I had a sexual awakening at 21.
"Come on! Who was it? Was it Sydnie?" He teases me making me laugh.

"That may be slightly true." He teases, I lean down, reconnecting our lips as we almost completely forget about our previous conversation.
"Ahhhhh, porn!" Zach yells as he walks in the door, spotting us on the floor. Jack pulls away, looking up at the guys as I groan over the fact that the time we finally had alone together was now over.
"We weren't doing anything." Jack laughs.
"Thank god, I don't need to see that." Corbyn walks behind the drums again, getting in position.
"Yeah, but Y/n has someone else she wants you to do it with." Jack says mindlessly. I instantly snap my head toward him, not believing that he already let the secret out.

"Y/n is in love with your ex." Jack says, clearly teasing me for no other reason the to entertain himself.
"I'm not In love with her!" I roll onto the floor, starfish position, as Jack jumps up, ready to play music again.

"That's okay, while I'm sure my parents would kick you out for seeing what you're wearing, I've been up for an adventure recently." He downs the last of the whiskey and gets up, leaving his glass on the steps. He unbuttons his dress jacket, and hangs it on a nearby rack.
"You coming?" He asks me. I stare at him, not expecting it to be this easy.
I quickly catch up to him, grabbing my keys from the valet, and getting in the car, Zach following my lead.
"So, where are we heading?" He asks me but I stay quiet. "Hello?" He tries to get my attention but I keep my eyes on the road. "Okay then, not much of a talker, I get it."
We drive the rest of the way in silence. As I pull into the house, Zach gives me a funny look.
I park the car in the garage and get out, Zach following me.
I watch as two of my dads men step out of the house, awaiting my command.
"Go easy on him, he came willingly." I say as I walk past. I head them walk forward and grab Zach, making him yell in protest.
"Back already?" My dad says with a smile, probably thinking I had failed, or given up. I flop onto one of the arm chairs.
"Yep, mark and Benji have him, gonna scare him up a bit before I go in there." He stares at me wide eyed.
"You did it?"
"Yep, and to think you had no faith in me, and I beat your record the moment I step into the field." I smirk and get off the chair and walk out, heading to the 'interrogation booth'.
I can already hear his screams as I walk downstairs, and I can't help but feel slightly bad for the guy.
I walk into the room and find Zach strapped to a chair, with each of the guys throwing punches to his face and stomach.
"Leave." I say to them, making them instantly stop and leave the room.
"Who the hell are you?" Zach says, his voice barely audible from all the screaming he had been doing.
"Y/n." I say simply, untying him from his restraints.
"Why are you doing this to me?"
"Because your family has money and I want it." He laughs at my words.
"That's where you're wrong. We're broke. My father spent half of it on cocaine and hookers, and my mother spent the other half trying to escape their marriage, so if you're looking for money, I would like to know where it is too." He smiles at me, but I could tell inside he was hurting.
"You're sure there's no money." I say, ready to read every move he made.
"Pinky promise." He says, with no indication of lying at all.
Without another word, I leave the room.
"Leave him be, I'll handle him later." I tell the two guards, who then scatter to do their daily tasks.
I March up to my fathers office, bursting through the doors, and grabbing a gun that he keeps under one of the couches.
"You deceived me." I point the gun at his head, ready to shoot if I have to.
"Ah, so you figured it out." He smiles. "Have to say, I'm surprised you didn't figure it out sooner, a little disappointing if I say so."
"I spent months trying to get onto this job, and it's all for nothing."
"It was designed to educate you on how to evaluate the jobs you do, it just shows me that you're not ready."
"Not ready my ass," I shoot three shots above his head. "Next time you give me a job, you better make sure it's a good one, or the next three bullets will be into your skull."
I could see the fear in his eyes, as he realized how serious I was. I put the gun down and turn to walk out.
"Oh, and that Herron kid is now my apprentice, nobody touches him unless I say so, got it?" He stares at me, but briefly nods his head.
"Y/n!" I hear like shout from behind me, as I quickly slam my locker and try to walk away. Unfortunately, Jonah has always been a fast runner, so in no time he was gripping my arm, and forcing me to face him.
"What do you want?" I spit, which makes him frown.
"What's wrong with you?" He asks.
"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with me is the fact that you have single-handedly broken our family over some stupid band." I turn away, but he quickly runs in front of me, stopping me from moving.
"I know I messed up, but we both know that I can't go back now."
"You shouldn't have left in the first place. All mom does is watch out the window, waiting for you to come back, and dad is so busy with work that I have to console her, which is not an easy task." He looks down as I speak, the shame of it clearly catching up to him.
"I just wanted to tell you that the guys and I are playing our first proper gig on Friday, I would love it if my family would be there." He was being sincere over what he was saying.
"I have plans, but I'll pass the message onto mom and dad." I say briefly, as I push past him and carry on with my day.

"I'm home!" I shout as I walk inside.
"In the kitchen." I hear mom say. I make my way there, throwing down my bag as I walk over.
"Hey." I say to both my parents, who were having tea at the island.
"How was school?" Dad asks as I sit next to him.
"Jonah spoke to me today." I grab one of the cookies out the tin, and take a bite as they both stare at me intensely.
"What did he say?" Mom asks with a weary voice.
"His band is playing a gig on Friday, he wants us to go, I told him I have plans but I would pass it onto you." I explain, before finishing the cookie.
"Really?" Dad asks.
"Mhm." I mumble, clearly not as interested in likes gig then they were.
"We have to go." Mom says, which makes me snap my head toward her. "What? Jonah has been gone for a while and I would like to see him, especially when he's on stage doing what he loves."
"I have homework, I'll see you later." I mumble, walking out the kitchen and into my room.

I haven't seen Jonah or any of his band mates over the last two days at school, but I knew they were probably just getting prepared for tonight.
I still had plans with a friend to go to a party that one of the football players was throwing, but my parents had been talking about this concert since we found out about it.
"Mom, I'm off now." I say to her as she puts on her lipstick.
"We'll be leaving soon too, have fun and don't do anything I wouldn't, okay?" She gives me a quick hug.
"Bye dad!" I shout, knowing he was still in the bathroom.
"Bye, be back before 12 please." He replies.
"I know!" I laugh at his rules.
"Hey you!" Sam says as he pulls up to my driveway.
"Heyo, I need to get away from here, take me away Sammy!" I hop in his car and make my way to the party.
Sam opens my door once we get there. And makes sure to hold my hand as we make our way inside, knowing that my balance wasn't the greatest, especially in heels.
The party seemed like it was already in full swing when we entered, so it didn't take Sam and I long to get involved in the shenanigans that were taking place.
Sam and I were in the living room, taking to a few of the cheerleaders as the host of the party, Tommy, runs in and turns on the tv, shushing everyone to be quiet.
"Our top story tonight covers the sudden death of five teenagers who were set to play the Green smoke lounge later tonight." This instantly gets my attention, I get off the couch and push to stand in front of the tv.
"Zach Herron, Jack Avery, daniel seavey, Corbyn Besson and Jonah marais were apart of a band called Why dont we, when only an hour ago they were all pronounced dead at the Los Angeles community hospital. Local authorities are looking for clues as to how the band had died, but nothing had come up so far, back to you Michael." The news reporter says.
The tension in the room felt heavier then the guilt I was feeling.
I could tell that everyone was waiting for me to freak out, but I turned around, even though everyone's eyes were on me.
"Would you mind taking me home?" I ask Sam, somehow still remaining calm. He quickly nods and grabs my hand, pulling me out the house, knowing that I would break at any second.
We made it halfway down the lawn when I broke down. I didn't care if everyone in the house was watching me, I couldn't help it as my sobs broke the silence that had surrounded the house.
Sam wrapped his arms around me, calming me down enough to get me home, so I could grieve with my parents over the loss of my only brother and their only son.
"Hey?" I hear at my bedroom door. I turn around and see Corbyn looking at me with a sad smile.
"Hey, what's up?" I ask him.
"I'm going to Daniel's for a few days, so if you wonder where I am, you'll know I'm okay." I could tell that another argument had sparked in the last few hours, which is why he was leaving.
"Okay, if you need anything just let me know and I'll bring it to you." He gives me a final smile before turning and going to his room to start packing.
Unfortunately he had left an hour later, not saying goodbye to me properly, but I let it go, considering that he was probably emotional.

The weeks played out like usual, only this time, I felt like I had completely lost Corbyn. He hadn't had any contact with me since he left, but I knew he was okay, as Daniel would give me updates at school when I saw him - though they were usually very brief.
Our family had just sat down for dinner, when the topic of Corbyn once again became the subject of conversation.
"That boy needs to get his priorities straight, first he joins a band, which is completely unreliable and a waist of time, and now he thinks he doesn't need school! We raised him better then this, and I cannot wait for the day that he comes crawling back to us." My dad spits.
"I'm sure it's that Seavey boy who's the bad influence, we all know that The other three don't have much going on upstairs so it's definitely not them." My mother adds, chuckling as she insults all his friends.
"Maybe if you guys weren't so hard on everyone Corbyn would've been able to explain his side of things instead of running away." I say loudly, as I get more and more sick of their harsh words.
"Corbyn ran away because that's all he's good for." My dad laughs.
"You're the ones who raised him, so what does that say about you."
"Watch your mouth." My dad was getting more angry by the second.
"Actually, that's a lie, you didn't raise Corbyn or me, you just hired a million Nanny's to do that for you." I slam my fork onto the table and get up, quickly walking out the door, and toward the pier.
Breathing in all the scents that the ocean had to offer made me feel at peace, and knowing that I had finally said what I'd been wanting to say for months, really made this a good day.
I spent a few more hours walking around,
Picking up some shells that I thought Corbyn might like, until I finally headed home.
Walking up the driveway, I found a police car waiting in the middle. Assuming my parents had called the cops In hopes of bringing me home, I rolled my eyes and strolled in.
The two policemen and my parents were sitting in the living room, and I could quickly tell that the police visit had nothing to do with me.
"We don't exactly know the cause yet, but we think they might have ingested some kind of chemical that ended up killing then a few minutes after it entered their blood." I hear the policeman say.
I furrow my eyebrows at his words, quickly turning to see my parents faces, who were now filled with tear stains and red blotches.
Something inside me clicked at that moment, and somehow I just knew that I was now officially an only child.
A sob broke from my lips, making everyone turn toward me. My mother stood up, trying to walk toward me, but I quickly ran upstairs, locking myself in my bedroom, as I dealt with the fact that my only brother, and best friend was now dead.
For the last few months, our friend group has been preparing for this night. While most would think it was a party, or even prom, it was something a lot more important then that. After about 3 years of why dont we being together, tonight was finally the night that they get to show everyone what they can do.
I was lucky enough to be involved with the band in more then one way. While I am best friends with all the guys, Jack and I had been in a relationship for a little over a year now. Being who I am helped with most of the branding for the band, like the wrist bands, shirts and signed CD's, which seemed to take a lot of the stress off of the guys, just so they could focus on their music.
Jack had been so excited about this night but it seems like now he was completely tired and over all stressed about tonight.
"Okay, do we have everything?" I say as I stand in the middle of the studio, ready to give the guys the final checklist before they go.
"Yes." A chorus of bored voices sound out.
"Extra guitar picks?" I ask.
"Yes." Corbyn mutters.
"Gaffer tape?" I ask again.
"Yes." Daniel smiles, knowing how pedantic I am.
"All 5 guitars?"
"Yea." Zach was busy picking at a sticker on one of the guitar cases.
"Merch?" I finally ask.
"Yes, we have everything, stop stressing, we'll be fine." Jonah chuckles.
"Did you happen to notice you're missing a band member?" I smirk, knowing they definitely didn't realize that Jack was missing.
"Oh." They all mutter, looking around guiltily.
I hear the toilet flush from my right and instantly point toward it, making the other three breathe a sight of relief.
"Okay, I'll meet you there at 8, please don't break any instruments, and take this seriously." I cross my arms as the the boys walk out, leaving Jack and I alone.
He walks over to me and wraps his arms around my waist.
"You better not go famous rockstar on me, after tonight." I whisper, half joking, but half being serious too.
"You'll keep me grounded even if I do." He leans his head on mine, as we stand in silence, enjoying the last few moments of life as we know it.
"I think you should go before the boys get angry." I pull back and look at him in the eye.
"I'll see you later?" He grabs my hands, waiting for my answer.
"Front row." I smile, making him chuckle. He leans forward, placing a quick kiss on my lips before slowly walking backwards.
I smile lovingly as he walks out completely. I collect myself after realizing I was a lot more emotional then I had realized. I grab my bag and my house keys and head back to get ready for tonight.

Walking upstairs, I realize nobody is home, as they were probably already at the venue. Seeing as Jack's family weren't that supportive, mine always made an effort to make him one of us.
I got changed into one of the most pop punk outfits that I could come up with, and started making my way to the venue.
After walking for a while, I finally caught up with my family, who had been waiting in line for a while.
"Hey! There you are, we were starting to think you weren't coming." My dad says.
"Believe me I wouldn't miss this for the world. Have you seen the guys yet?"
"Nah, they were here pretty early, so we didn't get the chance." My younger sister says.
"I'm gonna go check on them, but I'll make sure to save you space at the front."
I wave to them as I walk toward Peter, aka the bodyguard that I had pretty much become best friends with since the guys booked the gig.
"Peter!" I shout, gaining his attention, making him smile as I walk up to him.
"Y/n todays the big day, are the boys nervous?" He asks.
"I'm nervous enough for all of them so they're not feeling it."
"Go on in, I'm sure they need you in there." He opens the door, making me rush inside.
I say hello to some of the staff that were cleaning the place, but my main focus became the stage. I saw the giant why dont we banner and got teary eyed.
"It's unreal isn't it." I hear Jonah say from behind me. I look toward him and wrap an arm around his waist.
"It's been a long time coming." I say.
We stand in silence for a few minutes, taking in the venue before it's packed.
"Where are the others?" I ask him.
"Went out for street dogs." He smirks down at me.
"Only those guys will eat street food before a massive show." I laugh slightly. I break away from the hug, walking backwards out of the venue as I talk. "I'm gonna go stand with the families, I'm sure they've all found one another, and I want them all to have a good view of you guys, so I'll see you after. Tell the others I say good luck and don't fall off stage, that last one is mainly for Zach."
I walk out, finding all of the guys families had shown up, but what surprised me the most was the fact that Jack's parents were there.
We all stood around for a while, talking about the songs that the boys would sing, and what they planned to do after this gig, and eventually a loud voice at the entrance to the venue caught everyone's attention.
"Can I have everyone's attention!" The short man stood on a chair and shouted. "Unfortunately the band who was playing tonight had to cancel very suddenly due to personal reasons, if you would like any refunds, please call the venue tomorrow morning and we will sort it out for you." He finished, and suddenly the crowd was in shambles. Seeing as how some of their fans had been waiting for hours, the sudden news had come out as a shock.
Our families all started arguing and yelling until I finally stepped in.
"I'll go see what's happening, one of them might just be acting like a diva and they're refusing to play, I'll handle it." I walk into the venue, completely ignoring Peter.
I walk in and find it exactly the same as it had been. Only this time the booth at the back of the venue was filled with a crying Jonah, and staff who looked worried.
"Jo?" I rush to him, pulling him into a hug.
"They're gone." He whispers into my ear. I pull back and look at him in the eyes. I can't believe that those four would do this to Jonah, leaving him alone on their opening night, while they skip town just to get out of it.
"Where did they go? I swear I'm gonna hunt them down." I grab one of the waitresses notepads and pen, ready to scribble down an address.
"No," Bobby starts, "They're dead."
Suddenly my whole world stops, as the notepad and pen fall out of my hands and I loose my balance. I sit on the floor, arms wrapped around me from one of the staff members that had caught me on the way down.
It took a moment to process his words, but once I did, everything came tumbling down.
Once I came to, I quickly got off the floor and ran straight out the door, the tears and sobs freely flowing.
I ran all the way to the beach, not stopping for the people who I accidentally bumped, or the people who shouted my name, I just kept running until I arrived at the place that held so many memories.
The late night parties, the awkward dates, the amazing improv concerts that the boys held, this was the place that brought us all the happiness in the world, and now that they're gone, I'm scared that I'll never be able to find that happiness again.
A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough y to win some meet and greet passes for why don't we, who were finally visiting my city. Their concert was later today, but it honestly felt like the day was going so slowly, that it felt like a million years away.
I had been a supporter of the band for a few years now, so being able to see them in concert, and meet them was a dream come true.
Luckily, I wasn't going to do this alone, I had dragged my friend along with me, even if he wasn't a huge fan of WDW he was glad to accompany me to make sure that I was safe.
We arrived at the venue at 1pm, seeing as we wanted to get as close to the front as possible, but unfortunately, many people had the same idea. Not only was the line longer then the street it was in, it was filled with people who very clearly slept over in order to get good seats.
Eventually F/n and I got inside, and somehow, F/n actually got us to the front, even if it was not directly in the center, we still got a good view.
We didn't wait for too long before the lights went out, signaling the start of the show.
Even though I tried to keep my composure, I couldn't hold myself back from screaming at the top of my lungs from all the excitement.
The whole show was amazing, and honestly it exceeded my expectations for tonight, and being able to experience this with F/n really made everything better.
Once the concert was over, we waited behind, we had m&g tickets, unfortunately we seemed to be the last people to get the memo of where we had to go, as the line outside seemed even longer then the one to enter the venue. Because of the mix up of location, F/n and I ended up getting last place in the huge line, and even though he just wanted to leave, I refused and stayed put.
After two hours of waiting, F/n and I finally were next in line. I'm sure that at this point everyone just wanted to go home, and us being there was just making their lives harder, but I didn't care, for now all that I wanted was to finally meet my favorite band.
We were finally called inside, which instantly made me take F/n's hand as we walked inside.
When We walked in, I assumed that we had to be lead to another room where the boys were waiting, but unfortunately the security that lead us here, just left us standing in the middle of what looked like the bands greenroom.
F/n walked over to a carpet with a wdw back drop - where the pictures were to be taken - while I just looked around, as we waited for the guys. As I walked closer to a snack table that was on the opposite wall as the backdrop, I heard a light giggle, and almost instantly I knew what game they were playing.
I examined the area a little closer, hoping to find out where the boys had been hiding, and luckily I found out that there was a curtain that was hung behind the table, which the boys were definitely hiding behind.
I pretended like I was looking at the different snacks, as I knew the guys were probably watching me.
All at once, I grabbed the end of the curtain, pulling it back quickly, revealing 5 screaming band members who seemed shocked over my ability to find them, even if it was blatantly obvious.
"I told you he gave us away!" Corbyn shouted in Zach's direction, making it clear that Zach had been the one who was giggling.
As the boys bicker for a few seconds, a rather loud screech comes from behind us, causing me to whip around just in time for me to see F/n faint onto the floor.
"Guess he was a fan," I say as I rush to him, making sure he was completely okay.
"Is he good?" Corbyn asks, crouching down next to me.
"I think meeting you got a little too much for him." I laugh slightly. "Though this isn't the first time he's fainted, fortunately it's also the least messy one that I've dealt with." The boys look at me confused, "He tends to fall onto objects that could hurt him, and they usually do. One time he fell onto my mirror and cut open his back, it was a nightmare honestly."
"That sound painful." Jonah remarks, looking at F/n.
"Yeah but he's okay, a little crumbly but we still love him."
"Sounds like someone we know." Daniel ruffles Zach's hair, making him groan in annoyance.
I had asked the security if they could lift F/n onto one of the nearby couches, seeing as he wouldn't be awake for a little while. They all lifted him up, and made him comfortable on the couch while I stood with the boys, watching him be carried.
Fortunately the boys seemed more then okay with me staying there while we waited for F/n to wake up. We made small talk at first but eventually it ended up in a very passionate conversation about music and art.
"Where am I?" I heard from beside me. I look over and see F/n is now awake and looking very confused.
"You passed out when you saw the guys." I gesture to the guys that had been sitting around him for an hour, and almost instantly he's screaming at the top of his lungs, but at least he wasn't fainting again.
"I think now would be a good time to take the picture, just in case we loose him again." Jonah suggests, making us all laugh and nod in agreement.
We all hurry to the wall, getting in position to finally make a memory of this night.
As the photographer says 'smile', I feel something sliding into my back pocket, I try stand still for the photo, but as soon as it's over I look at Jack, who was standing next to me, and see him wearing a bright smile - acting oblivious to what had happened.
After a few goodbyes and many hugs later, F/n and I leave the venue, clearly still high on adrenaline from the whole concert.
As we're nearing my apartment, I remember the weird scene that played out with Jack and I. I quickly reach into my back pocket, trying to see what he had slid into it.
Inside I find a pink post it note that was folded up. I open it carefully and read the writing on it.

Zach and I had met 6years ago, thanks to one of our mutual friends finally introducing us to one another. To say that we hit it off would be an understatement. We clicked so well, that it was no surprise when we started dating only weeks after meeting. It was strange dating someone in a band, as I never realized that you get a 5 for 1 deal with them. The other guys and I got along pretty well too, which was always a plus.
Zach and I were now celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary, and because it's us, we had to celebrate at the strangest place we could find. Luckily, there was a disco themed club that had just opened up a few weeks ago, that Zach and I had yet to go to.
We got to the club and instantly were bombarded with bright lights and 70's nostalgia. Luckily, Zach and I had made an effort to dress up for the theme, which also helped get us a few free drinks.
It was a great night, we danced, sang, and had quite a bit to drink, making all the giggles and side kisses, a little more entertaining.
The night suddenly started to go downhill very fast. Zach pretty much refused to look at me after a certain time, which rightfully made me pissed off. I ended up storming out of the club, Zach following behind me, but he still didn't look or talk to me.
This behavior carried on to the time we got home.
We didn't talk to each other, we just made our way to the bedroom, and got ready for bed in complete silence.
When I woke up from what had become the most awkward night of sleep with Zach since we moved in together, I realized that whatever problem we had last night, was probably not going to go away that quickly, as it was proven by Zach's side of the bed, completely made, and void of Zach.
I got up and got dressed, at least expecting a note of some kind, explaining that he had to be in the studio, or he was out with one of the guys, but unfortunately, I found nothing.
I assumed he was just in a rush, and because of the tension from last night, writing me a note about his whereabouts was probably the last thing on his mind.
After a few hours Of absolutely no contact, I decided to try call the guys, hoping he was out with one of them, but unfortunately they all had the same response.
"We haven't seen him in a few days."
They had all volunteered to come over, opting to distract me from the fact that my husband had practically gone missing.
Once the boys arrived, we split into groups, hoping to finally find him. After searching for hours on end, the worry of the situation got to be a little too overwhelming. The boys and I made our way back to the house, and after telling them that they were welcome to spend the night, I made my way to bed, hoping to sleep my way out of this situation that Zach had put me into.
I must've only been asleep for a few hours when I heard loud giggles from downstairs, assuming it was the boys making noise (as usual) I had no rush to get downstairs to tell them to shut up.
Finally when I was awake enough to walk downstairs to confront them about the constant noise, I found Corbyn tickling straddling Zach, while the other guys held down his limbs. His laughter was loud enough to wake anyone, and it was no wonder he was so loud as the attack that was currently in way, was merciless.
I watched the shenanigans go on for a few more minutes, until I thought Zach had had enough. I cleared my throat loud enough for everyone to hear, making them all turn and stare at me in horror.
"Kitchen, now." I tell the other four boys, hoping they'll get the hint and leave Zach and I alone to talk.
I make my way to our one seater couch, waiting for the others to leave before I start talking.
"Don't set the house on fire!" I call out to them as they finally all leave.
Zach sits up, still sitting on the floor. He looks toward the ground, clearly knowing he had done something wrong.
"Where were you?" I snap.
"I just needed space." He says bluntly.
"And you couldn't tell me that? Instead I'm left at home not knowing if you've been kidnapped or murdered!"
"I'm here now."
"Zach, I have been looking for you since 7am, you don't get to brush this under the rug. You did something wrong, and we are going to talk about it." I lean back, folding my arms in the process. "Why did you need space?"
I knew he wasn't going to talk unless I made him, so I gladly started the conversation.
"After what happened yesterday I needed a break."
"Our anniversary?" I say, confused beyond belief.
"At the club, there were a billion guys looking at you, it wasn't fair."
"Are you joking?" He looks up at me for the first time. "That's why you left without any communication?"
"Excuse me if I don't like guys drooling over my wife." He raises his voice.
"No, you can be mad at the guys all you want, but don't take it out on me, especially when I was oblivious and you said nothing!"
He looks down again. I decide to settle this argument and just make peace, knowing it'll just build more tension if we keep arguing.
I make my way to Zach, and sit right in front of him, grabbing his hands when I sit down.
"I understand that it must've made you angry to see guys looking at me, but you don't get to take that out on me, completely disappear, and then pretend like you didn't do anything wrong. I don't want to fight with you, which is why we have to have some kind of communication. If we don't. Things could get bad for us. Just promise to tell me next time okay, we can sort it out together."
"I promise, sorry for being a dick." He kisses my hands, making me smile.
"It's okay, I think the boys got you for that."
"I know right, who knew they would be so protective of you." We both laugh, as we put away all the drama that has occurred in the last few hours, instead we focus on the future.
