I’ve been wanting to show a little bit of my lampwork studio for quite some time, and maybe to tell about processes... And decided to start with my torch (or burner). ⠀ 🔥A torch is an essential part of any lampwork studio. Some flameworkers use only gas (propane or natural gas), and others (and me) use gas + oxygen. This mix gives higher temperature and amazing effects inside silver glass. ⠀ 🔥You can see on photos that the burner has too faucets - red is for propane in my case, and silver is for oxygen. ⠀ 🔥There are a lot of different burners with different characteristics, mine is Mega Minor by Nortel, quite a popular one. It is used for both soft and hard (borosilicate) glasses. ⠀ 🔥Ask me anything about my studio if you want, I’ll gladly tell more. Also, I’m going to post about other tools soon. 😊 ⠀ #salamandersglass #lampworking #makingbeads #flameworking #creativeprocess #salamandersstudio #lampworkbeads #lampwork https://www.instagram.com/p/B9kKqzmn9wG/?igshid=174kxeyn7er52
