A New SoHo This November

November is a time for change for SoHo with some exciting new shows coming our way as well as a new channel number, Channel 114.

Kicking off the month with a bang, SoHo brings you the Australian premieres of the gritty medical series Rush as well as the gripping new legal drama The Divide. Also making it's Australian Premiere this month is season 2 of the musical drama Nashville.

Here is a complete list of the shows that will be appearing on the channel starting from November 3:

The Outlander books are already a worldwide sensation. Now, the stars of the TV adaptation explain why the time-travelling romance is the most eagerly anticipated series of the year.

Broadswords! Mountains! Kilts! The new series Outlander is an audacious blend of time-travel fantasy and historical fiction, packed with romance and action. Based on the best-selling novels by Diana Gabaldon, the 16-part TV adaptation – overseen by Ron Moore, who rebooted Battlestar Galactica – is also a period drama twice over.

The story begins in 1945. Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) is readjusting to a quiet life in the Scottish Highlands with her husband Frank after a stint as a nurse in WWII. While poking around a mysterious stone circle, Claire is zapped back to 1743, a time of volatile relations between Scotland and the English. As if that wasn’t all tricky enough, she soon meets strapping local Jamie Fraser – played by real-life Scotsman Sam Heughan – and the real action starts.

See, Jamie is having issues with notorious British Army captain “Black” Jack Randall, who happens to be an ancestor of Claire’s husband – and not a very nice one. In a fun twist, Game of Thrones veteran Tobias Menzies stars as both Jack and Frank. Can Claire find her way back to the future? And does she even want to, given her growing feelings for soulful Jamie?
