y'all do realize you can have tony stark become a father figure to peter parker AND still have aunt may and uncle ben, right? like by all means please fall in love with the idea of tony taking a father figure role over peter, because that’s cute as fuck. but don’t then try to erase aunt may and uncle ben (who are essentially peter’s mom and dad that love him very much) just to prop up the concept of tony occasionally behaving like a father
