Since my mom died, Iāve been living with my aunt but her mental health isnāt okay, she doesnt want to get treatment and his husband mental health is also deteriorating, he used to be very kind and almost like my dad when i wasĀ a kid, but now everything they both do is fight, scream and even beat each other. I never know what iām going to find when i get home, some days all i can do is hide in the room iām staying and even going to the bathroom is a big possibility of get yelled at for nothing or get told that iām useless or something worse. A week ago she told me to leave the house at 2 am and i had to just leave and sleep at the bakery in a chair, iām tired and i donāt know how to keep going.
Iāve fighted with depression for a very long time, since i was 6 years old, iām 22 years old and I think iām finally doing better, iām scared because i donāt want to be depressed again, iām scared because if i donāt work iām going to end up in the streets. Tomorrow iām going to move to a small house i found, I searched for weeks for a roommie because I couldnāt pay the rent just by myself and now more than half of my income is going to rent, iām happy but iām also scared⦠I want to leave this job but I canāt just go.Ā
Thatās why iām asking for donations, I want to start an online store for second hand plus sized clothing since in my country plus size clothing is almost non existent, i think i can do well and iāve been planing on this for a lot of time. Iām not quitting my job immediately but this can help me to have a flow of money so i can leave completely someday soon and to have the time to look for another job. -try to keep things clean
-try to socialize a little bit even if itās just online
-make sure you take care of yourself!!
if you canāt do all of these things thatās totally fine and thereās nothing wrong with that but a lot of regressors (myself included) have some trouble with basic rules when they donāt have a cg bc itās hard taking care of yourself, but itās very very important!!

ā šø try some yoga before bed! it helps you get out any leftover energy from the day, without getting your adrenaline pumping too hard! // cosmic kids bedtime yoga adventures
ā š read a bedtime story! if you have a caretaker available, you can have them read it to you. if not, read one yourself or look up audio recordings of someone who reads them aloud ~! reading helps you become more tired⦠like magic!
ā š¶ listen to lullabies online or make your own bedtime playlist! // hereās some quick recommendations:Ā 1Ā 2Ā 3Ā 4
ā š take a warm bath! add some epsom salts, johnsonās lavender bedtime baby bath, or a bath bomb, and of course bubbles! soak for as long as you want, but i suggest getting out once the water starts to get cold! after youāve dried off, try using johnsonās bedtime baby lotion, the smell is so relaxing and i find it works for helping me get to sleep.
ā šµ try a relaxing drink! get your favorite bottle or sippy cup, or just a regular cup will do if you donāt have those, pour some milk of your choice in it (i like vanilla almond milk for this), put two spoonfuls of honey in it, and put it in the microwave to warm up! you can also try different decaffeinated teas or herbal teas if you are feeling extra stressed. i recommend sleepytime vanilla decaf.
ā š° if you need a snack, no sweets! sweets are just gonna wake you up more and make your teeth all icky! try banana, strawberry, blueberries, or other fruits. you can also have plain animal crackers, yogurt, or a small cereal bar.
ā š¼ donāt drink/eat too much before bed! having one drink is okay, but donāt do anymore or you might be up all night or worse: have an accident! even if you use pull-ups and/or diapers, itās best to not have any accidents during the night so you donāt have to get up and change.
ā š have a nightlight, donāt leave regular lights on! nightlights arenāt that expensive and leaving on any other lights can be a problem when youāre trying to sleep. pick a cute sleepy light and have that instead! (my favorite nini light is shaped like a unicorn.. just thought iād share hehe~)
ā šæ use essential oils. not everyone has these, and thatās fine, but if you do then theyāre great!
ā ā° start getting ready for bed half an hour before you actually go to sleep. itās important to have a bedtime routine in place so that your body will get used to going to bed at a certain time, and youāll sleep for longer!
ā š» try getting your plushies/dollies ready for bed with you! play pretend and have them brush their teeth, get their pajamas on, and then you tuck them in for sleep!
ā š if it helps you, try stimming! there are tons of stim blogs and youtube channels out there, or if you have your own things then try it! many of my friends say this works for them.
ā āļø make sure your sheets & pajamas are clean!Ā youād be surprised how much this matters. itās a lot more comfy to go to bed with good smells. if you are wearing a diaper, make sure itās completely fresh!Ā
ā š try your best to stick to a routine on your own! donāt stay up too late!Ā even without a caretaker, you can have a good bedtime routine. i know we all dread sleeping ācause the fun for the day is gonna end and we just wanna stay up, but sleep is so important so you can keep having fun the next day!
