Ā Ā Ā š¹ā°ššāÆššš¶;;ā Estella shifted the collar of her coatā It was cold back when she was in London, but Christ, she could never get used to this kind of cold. But it was her family that made the choice, not her. And she was yet to be old enough to properly move and go back. Stillā At least the view was nice. Mountains were a more breathtaking scenery compared to streets.
Ā Ā Ā Lost in her thoughts, she barely noticed anyone walking towards her, even bump her. She only let out a smallĀ āmmā as she passed by. Had she properly stopped to look, sheād have seen a familiar faceā But instead, she didnāt stop and kept going.
Ā Ā Ā That was, until she heard her name, stopping her dead in her tracks. Sheād talked to a few people in this town and none of them sounded like this voice. And she couldnāt exactly register it, but she was so sure sheād heard that voice before. Unless⦠Unless it was just pure coincidence. Well, she canāt really ignore the fact sheād acknowledged her name getting called.
Ā Ā Ā She turned her head, her body soon following so she properly faced the other. Her eyes squinted for a moment, as if she was properly trying to get a read on him from where she was standing, though she had to get a little closer to get a bit of a better view and her eyes went wide. There, not more than a few more steps in front of her, someone she hadnāt seen for a long time!
Ā Ā Ā ā Pip? ā She looked him over again.Ā ā Goodness itās been a long time.Ā ā
Phillip only seemed more shocked when the girl recognized him as well. It really was her. A bit of hope sprung into his heart, knowing that he had run into probably one of the only people that had loved him at some point- He reallyĀ shouldnāt be getting ahead of himself though, it had been at least almost a decade since they had seen eachother.Ā
Maybe Estella disliked him all the same now, just like the others.
The thought still couldnāt keep a smile from forming on his face, though.Ā
āYou donāt say! Blimey, this is probably the last place I expected to run into you. Did you... did you move to America?āĀ
It was really quite the odd coincidence that they would be running into eachother almost a decade later, in a ridiculously small town surrounded by snow. He sighed a bit when he saw the dropped apple, looking a bit guilty as he picked it back up.Ā
He hated wasting food, and yet he had gone ahead and dropped a perfectly fine apple. Shame on him.
