i think the "oh i like this but i hate it because of the fandom" thing is a little overplayed, like, you know, there's a lot of annoying people online if a media gets popular it's going to be- like whatever right. but danganronpa fans are unbearable for the main reason of just not being able to admit they actually like the video game they like. i liked danganronpa! thought it was good! "i hate these games but-" live a little, man. (edit: finally winning the five year war on this take because hundred line is that good. you love to see it. he's always right. he's always right)

the two options are not "go to therapy" or "suicidal forever" it is a skill you can learn.
there's no big secret it's just different applied metaphors for "treat yourself the way you would treat a friend" and a consistent schedule. you have to find a way of thinking about it that works for you, and do the thing repeatedly to make the sims skill bar go up.
you do not control your thoughts or emotions in the same way you can't willpower yourself into having good fighting form without training, and these things are always harder in real life situations. as soon as pressure is applied you're going to jump for the easier thing that sucks until the good thing is easy too, and that takes time.
excise any iteration of the concept of "useless eaters" from your political framework. and your political framework has to include you or it's broken from the start.
you need to stop playing the pascal's wager set by a version of yourself that was trying to rationalise abuse and systemic violence against you, it's never gonna land on heads. you do not need permission to be saved, you don't need someone to save you to prove you deserved it. you do, you always have, i promise.
you know The Thing you have to go in and edit after the sketch in every drawing.
when you finally sit down and learn to actually do The Thing right the first time by drawing on a different coloured background or putting down the undo key, it's like five minutes of practice for what looks like months of work. because you've been avoiding it for so long. and it feels good.
and that means, it's gonna feel even better the longer you spend not doing it. so you should keep going in to correct it manually every drawing instead of doing the literally five minutes of practice. because you only get chances like this a few times in your life. you want it to feel good when it happens. this is what they invented computers for.

anyway uh (puts the mic back on the stand to take an incredibly long sip of water while holding a finger up) mm. i've gotten used to not checking music lyrics when i can't make them out because whatever but i feel like nine times out of ten when it's a whole sentence and not just a conjunction or something i look it up and it's french. anyone else noticed that? just a french line in the middle of an english song. every time. it should be vindicating but it's like do i even have auditory processing issues or what
