“My twin brother bit one, once. If it counts.” She already knew it didn’t before mentioning it but, then again, rebelling had never been her forte. Not like nagging others appeared to be. “Alright. Does this mean we can get lunch later? I mean, if you’re free. No… prior engagements or anything.” Was it always so hot in the studios, or was she just that bad at making friends?

“ NO, no,” sage placed his face in his hands as he was still trying to figure out exactly where he’d went wrong. “i was trying to make them for scratch. and i was hoping for about a couple dozen or so, but i ended up with… i don’t know, i stopped counting after so many.” he couldn’t help but laugh at himself. “yeah, i don’t really know how receptive people will be to that. maybe i’ll just send them out secret admirer style. then we’ll get to see who everyone thinks has a crush on them.”

he laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. “i think it was less intelligence and more not sleeping for four years, so i think you’ll be fine.” he was sure she’d be able to keep up regardless, though; something about the sparkle in her eye told him she was a lot smarter than she wanted him to think. “if i’m being honest, i didn’t expect to get the part when i auditioned. i just kinda went to be able to say that i auditioned for a tv show. it’s been fun, and i’m glad that i can send my mom money to help her out, but i’m not sure if it’s what i want to do long term.”

Okay, so she did have a pretty cute rear end, he admitted, but then again, around here the youth and beauty went hand in hand. Reeves at times wondered how long it would be before he started playing ‘dad’ in some show. Fuck, he’d give all this up and just be a musician full time if that were the case. But the blonde sitting here was expectant and all he could do right now is nod, a look of appreciation for her assets on his face. The man’s eyes narrowed at the girl when she asked for the insider’s answer. “I’m just saying if you didn’t want your ass grabbed by someone, then you shouldn’t have your ass grabbed by anyone, you know?” he shrugged. He managed to resist, still, but the doe eyes of the blonde made it harder to now shower her with compliments. “Oh there are a few bachelors that come to mind who might just fold like a bad hand of poker if you cast those pretty blue eyes their way. Your buddy Noah and you seem to be getting along well. And of the other guys… or girls… around here would probably love the chance to ‘fold’ in that role against you.” 

An easy laugh escaped from the musician’s lips. “Yeah, okay, the Force is strong with me. Don’t make me light a fire under your butt.” He put a scowl on. Dangerous. Slowly Reeves ran his tongue along his upper lip as he watched the tiny blonde scoot closer to him on the sofa. “I think I’d be a bad ‘guy’ if I didn’t feel that way to a point. I mean, we’re coworkers, and if some guy was grabbing your ass in a bar… he’d probably get punched.” Bar fights weren’t his thing - especially when he made a living on his fingers and hands. But he did have a mean elbow that he could swing. The girl, however, gave him ‘those eyes’. Very dangerous.”Hmm, well if it’s Lin-Manuel - that’s awesome, but he might be immune to your charms. Some other bachelor version… they might fold quicker for you.” 

“alright, your highness,” he crooned, shooting her a wink – regardless, he committed ‘fie’ as an acceptable nickname to memory. noah took a seat across from her, folding his hands in front of him. “well, born and raised in alabama, full football and academic scholarship to university of alabama. graduated summa cum laude and headed out here to ucla for grad school, where i was scouted for superhuman.” that was the cliff notes version, anyway; he wasn’t sure how deep he was supposed to go, especially on the first ‘date’.

Dylan smiled again at Sofia, leaning down a bit closer so he could better hear her. “Last I heard, working for them wasn’t such a picnic after all. Too much pressure, too much fakeness behind it all.” Not that that didn’t come hand in hand with the life in the spotlight but, Disney had it’s reputation to upkeep – and they’d seemingly stop at nothing for it. His cheeks heated up slightly as he ducked his head at the gushing, then poked her back with one finger. “You’re super wicked. I’m in, but I’m still gonna try and swoop in. Nobody needs blood at a birthday party.”

Sofia’s enthusiasm was palpable and Erin grinned in response. People assumed that if you a visible celebrity that you were so worldly but the farthest Erin had been was France for a convention. “I’ve always wanted to go to the cat cafes and walk through that really busy intersection that is in every movie. You know which one I am talking about?” 

Reeves raised one eyebrow. It was another one of those strange dichotomies of Sofia that he was still trying to understand. On one hand she was the kind who would tease and taunt you without mercy. On the other, she acted demure and like she couldn’t be bothered with any attempt to flirt with her. She was interesting, that was for sure. The man pursed his lips to one side and nodded. “You have the look for the damsel in distress easy enough,” admitted Reeves. “I think you make people - well, men from my point of view - want to be protective and take care of you, the whole baby girl thing is strong with you,” said the man. “And I think you have a seductive undertone that tends to let you get what you want when it comes to that. So the protagonist probably won’t stand a chance,” grinned Reeves.
