Hi! Here’s a book recommendation post! ✨If you like Stephen King and Thomas Harris, this could be a good one to read.

Tom Kennedy leaves the town with his son after the sudden death of his wife to have a new beginning. Little did he know that this new city has a dark past, which includes a serial murderer nicknamed “The Whisper Man” 🤫

🍂John Bowlby was one of the many psychologist who studied ‘attachment’. He inferred that the first 24 months, the child has a major need of creating a bond with at least one carer, usually the mother. When this bond is altered it can affect in long term the proper develpment of the child.

🍂 Much of our personality depends on attachment we experiment in our first years of life. A positive attachment allows the child to feel safe and start having a little more independence, which helps them to mature. In the other hand, the lack of a positive and safe attachment may influence in the develpment of fear and insecurities.

🍂 In addition, if they didn't feel loved and there was a lack of affection, growing up the kids could be more introverted and emotionally “dark” since they dont know how to show that affection, leading to social relationship problems.

Although my life isn’t what I want it to be (yet) I feel so incredibly grateful with the universe for letting me be one of the lucky who studies what they love, psychology. I’m still not sure what I want to do with it but learning it fills my heart to a point I didn’t even know it was possible, I’m slowly seeing my path…

Living inside my head’s been hard. I’m confused and feel like inside an egg, trying to just break the shell but I don’t seem to break through… why…? Am I already outside…? maybe I just need to be brave for once and open my eyes.
