Prompt - Donât Stop Believinâ - âHold onto that feelingâ
Warnings - nothing but fluff
Word count - 296
A/N - My tenth entry for the June Jukebox Scribbles.
A/N 2 - Society made the banner
The front door lock clicking open didnât immediately garner your attention. Nor the soft thuds of shoes being kicked off or a guitar case being placed on the floor. Not even his arms wrapping around you from behind. It was his silence. No greeting. Not a heavy sigh of exhaustion or irritated grumbling. For a few moments you let him hold you without movement or question.
âDidnât get the gig.â
âWhat happened? I thought you were requested.â
âWell the parents didnât want their âlittle angel acting like a delinquentâ. Her sweet sixteenth will include a string quartet.â
âOuch. Live band to string quartet. I sense rebellion in her future.â
When you felt a small huff of laughter on your neck you turned within the circle of his arms. The look of bleak exhaustion on Colinâs face was crushing. âThis isnât fair to you.â
âColin-â
âNo, I'm serious. The bandâs getting nothing but rejections. Not only are you supporting me but youâre pulling extra shifts to cover what I should be bringing in. I canât keep doing this to you.âÂ
âAnd I canât watch you give up your dream.â Cupping his face you guided him to look at you. âIf you want to try a delivery job or something that won't clash with you auditioning then go ahead. But focus on your music.â
The tender smile melted your heart as he pressed a sweet kiss to your lips. âYouâre amazing, you know that?â
Looping your arms around his neck you nuzzled into him. âI know youâll find something soon.â
âYou really think so?â
âDonât stop believin.â
He leaned down for another kiss when his phone pinged. His eyes narrowed before widening.
âWhat? What is it?â
With a grin he booped your nose. âHold on to that feeling.â
Pairing - arranged marriage husband x Female!Reader
Summary - Your husband doesnât understand that not all wants are material.
Prompt - Somebody That I Used To Know - âBut felt so lonely in your company."
Warnings - feelings of isolation , arranged marriage
Word count - 300
A/N - My ninth entry for the June Jukebox Scribbles. Mjolnor and Stormbreaker decided to duke it out in my head before I could finish this. Itâs a start to a bunny I have. The husband and the bodyguard are yet to be determined.
A/N 2 - Society made the banner
âWhat more could you possibly want? Iâve given you everything you could ever ask for! Anything your heart desired. You are the one who is always with me!â
âBut felt so lonely in your company." Fingers ghosted over your heart that ached. âAt night when we go to sleep. We might as well be on opposite sides of the world with the space between us. Surrounded by a sea of people when we were invited to an event and I am drowning in isolation.â Tears threatened to spill but you fought to hold them back. âAny time we spend together felt like a courtesy with an expected minimum time length and topics discussed.â
âRidiculous.â
His scoff didnât hurt. Youâd become numb to the indifference. âReally? Tell me the last thing we discussed that didnât involve making an appearance somewhere or how the household is run?â When he could only stare you shook your head. âThank you for making my point. You donât know anything about me or our life except when it suits you.â Sighing you turned to face your husband. âPeople are starting to notice. We canât keep this up.â
You prayed with every fibre of your body that he might finally see sense. The two of you were not a couple except on paper. If he let you go he could find a woman whoâd be thrilled by the lifestyle he could offer while you could find someone who saw you.
âYouâre right. We canât.â The spark of hope was snuffed when you saw his calculating smile. He clicked his fingers and someone entered the room. âMeet your new bodyguard who will tell me everything I need to know.â
You werenât sure if it was his words or the unfamiliar blue eyes that caused a tear to fall.
Summary - When he wakes up alone Frank begins to realise why.
Prompt - Livinâ La Vida Loca - âShe mustâve slipped me a sleeping pill.â
Warnings - mentions of alcohol , mention of drugs (sleeping pills) , mentions of sleeping together
Word count - 300
A/N - My eighth entry for the June Jukebox Scribbles. I know this oneâs a tad late. I just kept hashing bits out. This is a POV is part a challenge a friend issued me. Itâs not done, dunno if it ever will be tbh. But Frankâs the one I saw for this,
A/N 2 - Society made the banner
The sounds of water and Italian singing pulled Frank from the depths of a heavy slumber. Frowning he grumbled at the lingering brain fog. Usually he was a light sleeper and alert after waking. Rubbing his eyes it took him a few moments to realise he was alone. Your name bounced off the tiles as he called out for you growing higher with concern. Had you ventured out for food? Unease slithered through him.Â
Reaching for his phone he realised that he had never taken your number at any point the previous day. Textbook drama plot. He saved you. You rescued him. Shared dinner. Slept together. Of course numbers hadnât been exchanged. He cursed his own stupidity. Suddenly his phone rang shrilly with a number he didnât recognise. Answering quickly he breathed your name hopefully.
âNo itâs Abigail Chase.â Shit. This wasnât good for a number of reasons. âI thought you were with her in Venice.â
âWe are. Well I am. I canât find her anywhere.â
âIâm not surprised. You sound awful. Too much wine with dinner?â
âTwo glasses at most. We had a drink when we got back to the hotel.â Turning Frank saw his glass of champagne that was barely touched while yours was empty. A few sips of bubbly wouldnât have knocked him out. âShe mustâve slipped me a sleeping pill.â The unease turned into fear as he checked and double checked everything in the room.
âWhy would she do that?â
How had he not noticed it? The desk where the notes and lost treasure clues youâd shown him last night was wiped clear. âI broke her trust.â With a murmur heâd be in touch Frank hung up before sitting on the bed. What had he done? And how was he ever going to make it right?
Summary - The Human Torch is running hotter than usual
Prompt - Jump (For My Love) - âI can feel you getting hotter. Oh babyâ
Warnings - nothing but fluff
Word count - 285
A/N - My seventh entry for the June Jukebox Scribbles. Soon as I saw this I knew Johnny was perfect. I nearly went with something different đ
A/N 2 - Society made the banner
Johnny writhed and moaned as your touch caused goosebumps to erupt all over his body. Thick fluffy hair dampened by sweat at the roots while his blue eyes were bright against his flushed face.
âPleaseâŚâ
âI can feel you getting hotter.â Johnnyâs body suddenly tensed and his eyes became unfocused before a giant sneeze erupted. âOh babyâ you murmured sympathetically watching as his eyes switched from blue to golden. Grabbing another frozen washcloth you placed it on his forehead. Steam rose immediately from the material. Reaching for your phone you adjusted the temperature in the room along with the lighting noticing that Johnny was now squinting.
âAfter everything weâve been through, everything we faced⌠this is how it ends.â
âYouâre sick, not dying. With all the time you spent in subzero temperatures flaming around instead of riding in the Fantasticar like everyone else Iâm not really surprised.â
Johnny glared around Reedâs lab before pouting up at you. âIf Iâm sick why canât I sleep in our room?â
âHas the fever melted your brain, hothead?â Your teasing tone followed by another light stroke of his face caused his initial hurt to fade into comfort. âYou chain sneezed so much you burst into flame and set the bed ablaze! Reedâs lab and the kitchen are the only places with a fire suppression system since the foam malfunction. I donât think Reed or Sue would be happy if you torch any more furniture.â Grumbling in defeat Johnny settled back on the cot Reed sometimes used when pulling an all-nighter. âGet some sleep and I'll check on you in a while.â You barely made it to the end of the corridor.

Prompt - Therefore I Am - âDon't talk 'bout me like how you might know how I feel.â
Warnings - Sherlock being a clueless muppet
Word count - 299
A/N - My sixth entry for the June Jukebox Scribbles. This was meant to be something angsty but then this man popped up and played keep away with the prompt. Itâs bonkers⌠sorry Iâm not sorry
A/N 2 - Society made the banner
You watched as the two men all but crashed into the room. John bent forward hands braced on his knees as he tried to catch his breath while Sherlock slumped against the wall.
âI told you! It was the secretary. Quicker to run. And weâre not late.â
Breathing now even John looked up and the blood drained from his face. âTwo out of three Sherlock.â
The renowned detective straightened as he took in the scene before him. The triumphant gleam faded in his blue green eyes as they clocked all the details. Mrs Hudsonâs disapproval radiating in waves. Lestrade trying to suppress his amusement. Your clenched fists.
âAh.â
âOut please.â
The others moved quickly at your request though Lestrade paused at the door. âDonât be too rough on him.â Lestrade smirked. âThough I can explain away some injuries Iâd rather not have the paperwork."
Neither of you answered locked in a staring contest though you could almost hear how fast his brain was analyzing and selecting the right thing to say.
âDonât.â
âWhat?â
âDon't talk 'bout me like how you might know how I feel.â
There was a pause. âI wasnât. I was merely-â His voice trailed off as your gaze narrowed at him.Â
âYou left to chase a hunch.â
âWell the police were never going to solve it alone. Darling I donât understand why youâre angry. I havenât missed anything.â
âAll this time and you're still better at solving crimes than figuring out people. I hope our children take after me.â Suddenly you hissed out a slew of curses. Sherlock was instantly at your side and wisely stayed silent as you squeezed his hand in a death grip.
There was a knock on the door before a midwife entered. âOh Dadâs finally here then. Ready to start pushing?â
Summary - Lance watches his little girl tackle a cartwheel
Prompt - Hey Baby - âCâmon baby give me a whirl!â
Warnings - nothing but fluff
Word count - 186
A/N - My fifth entry for the June Jukebox Scribbles. I know itâs short but I was kicking my feet a bit with this one. Itâs daft but⌠the muse is musing.
A/N 2 - Society made the banner
There were squeals and shouts of excitement but Lance tuned them out. Standing tall with his arms folded his icy blue eyes were hyper focused on one person. Her nerves were obvious to Lance as she stood on the gym mat bouncing back and forth slightly. His breath caught in his chest as she moved into position as he had taught her.
âArms high and kick off. Pointy toes. Donât look at the floor.â
He blinked as she moved in a graceful cartwheel. When both feet landed on the mat she wobbled slightly but regained her balance before finishing in the final pose. Lance exhaled sharply, his muscles relaxing. Beaming she glanced around and he knew the moment she saw him as the Coach persona melted away.
âDaddy I did it! Did you see?! Did you see me?â
âOf course I did! Câmon baby give me a whirl!â
Lance knelt and caught his baby girl as she finished her victory twirl with gleeful giggles. His heart melted as the warm blue eyes sheâd inherited sparkled up at him.Â

Drabble #1 - Unsolicited Advice
Rating: General Audiences
âDoes all that stuff not bother you, man?â
Bucky glanced at the excitable Mexican in the front seat, and pretended he hadnât heard him. Unfortunately, that did not deter Luis.
âHYDRA, Thanos, the five year blip thing,â he continued. âThe way Congress just chucked you out after you saved the whole of New York.â
Bucky closed his eyes briefly, and wondered how he always seemed to draw the mission short straw.
âThatâs not really-"
âYou know,â Luis carried on blithely. âMy Abuela always said bad days are like dead rats. Thereâs always gonna be a couple in the garage.â
âWhat?â

Drabble #2 - Tie Your Shoes
Rating: General Audiences
âOkay, Jamie. Take both shoelaces and cross them together.â
Jamie did so carefully.Â
âGood. Now wrap this lace around and under the other and pull them together.â
Buckyâs son nodded.Â
âNow we make a loop. Like a bunny ear.â
Jamie giggled. âBunnies are soft.â
Bucky chuckled. âYeah, they are,â he agreed. âWrap this around the bunny ear.â
âAm I doing good?â his son asked.Â
âYouâre going great,â he replied sincerely. âNow pull this lace through the hole there and pull them together.â
Jamie gasped. âI did it!â
âProud of you, son.â
You smiled softly at Bucky. Â
First of many lessons.Â

Drabble #2 - Communication Is Key
Rating: General Audiences
"Why the hell is it shouting like that?" Sam grimaced, as he dodged the batting paws of the small white feline.
"She's a girl, not an it." Bucky scolded, slapping Sam across the back of the head, "And she's not shouting, she's communicating with you."
Sam scoffed, "You're losing it man."
"I'm not." Bucky grunted, "It's a scientific fact that cats only learned to meow to communicate with humans."
"So what's shes saying then if you're so smart?" Sam grinned, crossing his arms over his chest with a raised brow.
"That you're annoying and to get out of her seat."
Drabble #3 - Dismantling History
Rating: General Audiences
You dragged Bucky into the hall by his sleeve before he could drop another conversational grenade into the kitchen. He came without resistance, keeping that faintly offended look he got when he thought heâd done nothing wrong.
âYou cannot tell Bob things like that,â you hissed
âWhy not?â he asked.
âHeâs not equipped for it.â
Bucky frowned. âItâs true.â
âI know.â You signed heavily
âThen whatâs the problem?â
You stared at him. âThe problem is you cannot casually dismantle someoneâs entire understanding of history before lunch.â
He paused. âSo⌠after lunch?â
"No." You rubbed your temple. âIn supervised discussions only.â
Drabble #4 - Namesake
Rating: General Audiences
"Don't wike bullies," little Steve grumbled, watching two kids argue over a swing, the bigger one posturing menacingly. "Don't care where they're from."
Bucky's blood ran cold. Then warm.
He crouched down, studying the dark brows, the classic Barnes nose, the complete unearned confidence of a six-year-old who'd never thrown a punch in his life, who would absolutely try to.
"Where'd you hear that?"
Steve shrugged. "Nowhere. S'true."
Eighty years of guilt, grief, making things complicatedâ and here was his first-born son, carrying Steve Rogers' words in his mouth like they weighed nothing at all.
Because to him, they didn't.
Drabble #5 â 100 Words
Rating: Teen
âOkay, strange fact time. Go Buck,â you said.Â
âSpanish moss is neither Spanish nor moss. It's a member of the pineapple family,â Bucky said without batting an eye. âYour turn.â
âAvocado tastes like clean dick.â
âThat's not a fact that's an opinion.â
âIt is fact. But whatever. Avocados were named after testicles because of the shape. Your turn.â
âA writing drabble is 100 words on the dot. No more no less.â
âBullshit. It can be a few hundred words.â
âLook it up if you don't believe me,â he said with a smug grin.
You did. He was right. Yet again.
Drabble #6 - Survival Skills
Rating: General Audiences
Bucky crouches beside a patch of mushrooms and gently brushes aside leaves like unveiling a masterpiece.
You fold your arms. âI thought this was survival training.â
âIt is.â
He points at a big mushroom with white umbrella-shaped top. âThis one you can eat without cooking, but this one,â he points at another one, âkills you faster than a bullet.â
âThey are the same.â
âThe poisonous one is slightly greenish.â
You crouch beside him, nodding solemnly.
âLet me teach you something, too,â you say as you lean over and kiss him.
Bucky freezes, swallowing hard.
âWhat was that?âÂ
âMouth-to-mouth breathing lesson.â
Drabble #7 - One Good Punch
Rating: Teen
Warnings: Canon-typical violence
Bucky realises early that his Steve is all moral outrage and sharp elbows, with no self-preservation worth mentioning. So, after dragging him out of too many alleys, he teaches him how to throw one good punch.
âStop aiming for his face,â Bucky says. âYouâre too short and too angry. Ribs first, then run.â
Steve spits blood onto the pavement and nods.
The man Bucky has just pulled off him staggers upright, stupid enough to try again.
Steve's bony fist lands badly, beautifully.
The man goes down like a sack of potatoes.
Bucky stares.
âDonât make me regret teaching you that.â
Drabble #8 â Housemate Barnes
Rating:Â General Audiences
You and your housemates are excited to room with Congressman Barnes.
With the rent prices in D.C, it is no secret that junior representatives rent together.
All notions of him are wiped clean.
There are his questionable eating habits â cereal with yogurt and hot sauce, Â spinach right out of the bag, and boiled hot dog and pasta with ketchup.
The common closet is full of his suits. You all agree not to question why.
But he is exceedingly considerate and generous.
Barnes is puzzling but this is a fact: Howling Commando, ex-Avenger, Congressman Barnes is a raccoon of a man.
Drabble #9 - Fair
Rating: General Audiences
âYou taught me how to throw a punch. Itâs only fair to return the favour.â
Bucky eyed the shield dubiously. âNot sure itâs the same, pal.â
Steve demonstrated his new move, knocking the shield off two trees before it bounced back to him.
Bucky braced himself. Heâd seen the Howlies pretend not to struggle under the shieldâs weight. But it remained light in Buckyâs hands, same as it had ever since Zola.
It wasnât fair. Steveâs serum made him a superhero while Buckyâ
Bucky clamped down on that thought. He picked up Steveâs shield.
Life wasnât fair; war doubly so.
Drabble #10 - Tie Your Shoes
Rating: General Audiences
âOkay, Jamie. Take both shoelaces and cross them together.â
Jamie did so carefully.Â
âGood. Now wrap this lace around and under the other and pull them together.â
Buckyâs son nodded.Â
âNow we make a loop. Like a bunny ear.â
Jamie giggled. âBunnies are soft.â
Bucky chuckled. âYeah, they are,â he agreed. âWrap this around the bunny ear.â
âAm I doing good?â his son asked.Â

First of many lessons.Â
Well, class, that's all the General Audience/Teen lessons we have for today. Make sure you head over to our Advanced/Explicit lesson (drabble) page for the final two installments if you're ready for those.

Voting will open until approximately 4pm on Friday, and we'll announce which authors win a brand-new shiny Cryofreeze!
Pairing - John Pitts (Materialists) x female!reader
Summary - When you realise you and your ex are still heading the same direction
Prompt - Right Place Wrong Time - âI been on the right trip. But I mustâve used the wrong car.â
Warnings - minor angst , kissing
Word count - 298
A/N - My fourth entry for the June Jukebox Scribbles. Kicked myself when I realised John wouldâve been good for a âLittle Things Mean A Lotâ scribble. But then this happened⌠I suck at dialogue, itâs very cringe Iâm sorry! đ
A/N 2 - Society made the banner
Despite what people say about bumping into their exes you never expected to see yours. Night fell and you tried to hail a cab when you heard your name. There he was standing by the same old car from when youâd dated years prior. After accepting his offer for a ride home he stopped at your favourite place for stargazing. Perched on the hood you both filled in the blanks since the breakup almost like it would fill the empty spaces in the sky.
âI been on the right trip. But I mustâve used the wrong car.â
Laughing you threw your head back. âAny journey involving this car ended in disaster.â Though you couldnât help giving the hood an affectionate pat thinking of all the memories. But instead of Johnâs soft chuckle or a nostalgic comment crickets chirped. Suddenly realising he wasnât talking about the car you turned to see John slump as his elbows rested on his knees. âOh John. Iâm sorry.â
âI know. But itâs the truth.â
Hopping off the car you turned and stood facing him. âYou mean so much to me. No matter what, I wouldn't change anything.â
Moonlight turned his blue eyes silver as he looked at you. âMe neither. Iâve missed you so much.â You breathed his name as he caught your hips. âAre we⌠still on the same road?â
âWe might have taken different cars but yes.â
âWanna join me? There might be a few speed bumps and wrong turns along the way.â
Unable to resist you cupped his beard covered cheeks and leaned in to kiss him. There was a soft groan though you were unsure if it was him or the car as he kissed you back. Familiar warmth flooded your veins as he offered you a smile.

Prompt - Little Things Mean A Lot - âFor always and ever, now and forever.â
Warnings - minor mentions of violence , Elijah being a sweetheart
Word count - 300
A/N - My third entry for the June Jukebox Scribbles. Swapped out cos I couldnât mesh with the original prompt. The rest of this song resonates with another bunny I have. But when I saw one particular line I thought of my favorite Mikaelson.
A/N 2 - Society made the banner
The family was on high alert once again following yet another threat. Elijah wanted you to stay home instead of going to work which you protested vehemently. Eventually he surrendered with a reluctant sigh though you agreed when he insisted that you be accompanied.Â
Colleagues with the IQ of a boiled potato approached you several times causing your productivity to grind to a halt. Hormones caused your moods to swing like a pendulum. The stifling presence of security left you feeling suffocated. At one point you would have preferred to be at the compound verbally and physically sparring with Klaus even if he did piss you off.Â
So when you stormed into the compound hours later disheveled smelling of wolfsbane and vervain you knew Elijah would soon follow though he wisely waited until all traces of the plants were washed away. Without a word he pulled you into an embrace. The buzzing of your irritated overwhelmed brain was quieted by his soft humming. Peeking up from where youâd hidden in the crook of his neck you were greeted by warm pools of melted chocolate.
âThe rabble have been silenced after being doused by vervain and wolfsbane grenades.â
âTrue. Nikalus hasnât said a word since your return.â He smiled when you giggled. âWell done darling. Now do we need to make something similar for those simpletons you work with?âÂ
Despite his light tone you knew Elijah was serious.
âNo. But maybe a little compulsion so they actually use their brains?â
The Mikaelson family vow is âAlways and forever.â Though you were not yet a Mikaelson you shared a vow with Elijah. Whether the day is bright or gray. Come hell or high water. To protect each other. Care for each other. Love each other. âFor always and ever, now and forever.â
A/N - My second entry for the June Jukebox Scribbles. Heard this line and immediately thought of my favourite Hybrid.
A/N 2 - Society made the banner
âYou make bad look so good.â
âMy brother would argue that âbadâ is a matter of perspective.â Shadows danced around the dimly lit bar doing nothing to hide the imposing presence of Klaus Mikaelson. âWe merely seek to regain what was once ours.â
âIf it were Elijah saying that Iâd believe it. Heâs good. Chivalry edged with honour. But you?â You glanced over your shoulder at the Original leaning against a column as you loaded glasses on a tray. âYouâre bad. That Hybrid bite isnât the only thing thatâs lethal about you.â
âBut you like lethal donât you love?â Scoffing in response you shivered when he suddenly appeared behind you with a soft rush of air. âIf you truly sought a good man then Elijah would be here now. Not me.â A gleam of gold edged his dark blue eyes as he watched you turn to face him before guiding you to sit on the table. âDo you think he would do this?â Warm hands urged your legs to part and traced patterns leading towards the apex of your thighs. âOr this?âÂ
The sting of his fangs nipping your neck sharply enough to leave a mark but not enough to hurt you with his venom made your core clench. When you whined he leaned in with that fucking smug smirk you wanted to wipe off his face. Closing the distance you were happy when he met your kiss with equal enthusiasm.Â
âYou make bad feel so good.â
A velvet chuckle sent goosebump raising all over your body. How you loved the sound. Whether you were cornered in the darkened alleys of New Orleans or in a candlelit room tangled amongst bedsheets of an obscene thread count.
âSo are you going to be good for me? Or bad with me?â
Prompt - âIf I were King of the world, tell you what Iâd doâ
Warnings - drinking , mention of death and loss (dammit Loki đ)
Word count - 290
A/N - My first entry for the June Jukebox Scribbles. Deffo not my best but anything to make my brain stop playing pong with ideas đ
A/N 2 - Society made the banner
âIf I were King of the world, tell you what Iâd do.â
Thor paused at the lyrics, his blue eyes suddenly shiny.Â
âOdinson, you promised - nay you swore on the âAllfathers great beard a night of-ââ
âSpirited spirits and high celebrations!â
âSpirited celebrations and flowing libations.â
âYes I said that.â But beneath the joviality his grin faltered with a wobble in his voice. âLoki would be a good king.â
Humming in agreement you bit back your retorts questioning how scaring a crowd into submission and waging war on an unsuspecting city would make a great King. A tyrant maybe. âThat would certainly be a sight.â
Thor nodded and raised another shot. âOne that may yet come to fruition.â
âThor, you told me Loki died. Thanos killed him right in front of you.â
âAh yes but you - hic! - you donât know my brother. An extremely skilled sorcerer. He died twice before.â
âPardon?â Surely you had not heard that right. âHe died twice?â
âYes. Truly convincing.â The hopeful light in his eyes dimmed. âBut he never believed that I mourned him.â At a loss you jumped when Thor suddenly shouted âI shall prove it! Come along my friend! Join my quest!â
The alcohol-addled Asgardian leaned on you as he steered you both to a tattoo parlour. âFriend Stark told me that great artists can create such designs that remain on your skin until your dying day. This is how I shall convince Loki!â
You watched as the tattoo artist carefully inked the names into Thor's broad back. The God of Thunder slurred something and the artist paused before making one final flourish. When he stepped away you didnât know whether to laugh or cry at the question mark next to Lokiâs name.
Alright, cool cats, itâs time to find your groove, and let the music lead the way.
For June, weâre trying something a little different⌠but donât worry, the beat stays the same. There will still be an allocated prompt every day, only this time each prompt will be a song. The full setlist is below.Â
For anyone who feels a little uncertain, or doesnât want the pressure of choosing where to start, weâve also picked a line from each song to help narrow things down as a second option.
But for anyone feeling adventurous? You can absolutely choose another line from the song instead.
Your Scribble must contain at least one line from the song. It does not have to be the line we picked, and youâre welcome to use multiple lines if the music moves you.
Weâve also created a playlist so you can listen along with the full prompt list and really get into the June Jukebox mood.
The Goal: Write a Scribble of 300 words max, including the prompt/lyric line. Weâd love people to try and stay as close to that as possible, but weâre here for the vibes, not to slap anyone with a ruler.
The Timing: You have until the end of the day in your own time zone to complete and submit each prompt.
The Swap-Outs: If a certain dayâs song isnât your jam, donât stress. Weâve made sure there are options to swap out, so you can still keep the music playing.
Rules / Guidelines:
The final day for submissions is July 1st, end of the day in your own time zone. Please be aware that any entries submitted after this will not be added to the event masterlist.
For the event masterlist, we will link any users who have created their own Scribbles masterlist. For anyone who has not created a masterlist, we will link to their preferred profile instead. For example, if you have a sideblog, we will confirm this with you.
Please use the tag #JuneJukeboxScribbles (no spaces) so we can find your creations. Please do not use the tag after the event has ended. Youâre also welcome to tag @societynsoelsscribbles if you wish.
Please use appropriate warnings for explicit content, non-con, triggers, etc.
Hard no content: No incest, underage, bestiality, or necrophilia.
Any 18+ entries must be posted by an 18+ listed blog to be included.
Here are no limits on the number of submissions for a prompt. Do as many as you like, just remember to use the #JuneJukeboxScribbles tag!
The target is 300 words, but should you go over, we will not scold, fine, or ban you⌠as long as you deliver (but please.. try)Â
The possibilities are endless. Any fandom, pairing, reader insert, OC, character, ship, tone, or genre is welcome; smut, fluff, angst, crack, horror, romance, heartbreak, whatever beat you hear.
Join as often or as little as you like. There is absolutely no pressure. Whether you drop one track or complete the whole album, weâre thrilled to have you playing along.
You can use our event header for your own entries or masterlist, but please credit Society.
So warm up the jukebox, spread the sound and get ready to jive to your own funk⌠Drum roll please!!!Â
