The Worst Possible Bad Ending in the World (@sociopathicharlequin)
It was the sound of heels hitting the ground that broke the sudden ominous silence that had crawled over the area. In all honesty, it wasnât an atmosphere that the once villainous harlequin would have been all that unfamiliar with- it was somewhat similar in nature to the Bad End Space created by the three generals and himself in the past.
Although there was something else mixed in with it- but that too, was not entirely unfamiliar either.
"My, my, my, I had heard that you were still alive." A voice spoke- and for a brief moment, it might have been Beautyâs. But no, while Beauty was capable of a very sharp tone, her words rarely carried that kind of maliciousness behind them. Which only leftâŚ
"But I canât believe that someone like you would have decided to stray from the path, Joker." Bad End Beauty said, her smile as pleasant as it was icy.
"What a surpise you are though!~"
Seeing the evil copy he made returned back to life made him curious who would have wasted their time. In the end, the bad end precure turned out only useful for stalling the precure. Not like he'd tell his failed copy of Beauty that to her face though.Â
"Pierrot is dead. There is more evil that could be done but that would take time. The generals are gone so there is no one left in the Bad End Kingdom."
Joker had brief thoughts of claiming that kingdom for his own. But what would he do if he didn't have anyone to serve under him?Â
He pondered over if there was anything he could make use of in the clone. Plus if the others would return too. Of the five, he could imagine March and Sunny would be the most likely to follow his orders.Â

Joker smiled at Reika, he almost missed seeing his main enemy! Her brief break in seriousness made him a bit happy. He still could scare her a bit.
"I talked to Hibiki and some change of heart garbage happened. I suppose working for Miyuki is all I can do for nowâŚ"
Not that he wouldnât come up with plans for himself though! He thought he should enjoy himself a bit, even if that meant tormenting people.Â
"So, what has a dull girl like you been up to? Any plans to go to England or did you completely destroy your chance of it?"
"I see." Reikaâs eyes narrowed- it didnât seem as if she entirely believed him, but she wasnât about to attack him without any reason- even if he was apparently trying to rile up her nerves. She wouldnât let him, however- there was no way she was going to allow himself to find amusement by toying with her.
"For someone who is supposed to be a dull girl, you sure do pay quite a bit of attention to me, Joker." Reika said, glancing coolly at him. âYou certainly werenât lacking in your research about me in our final confrontation, after all.â
"And if you must know, Iâve been practicing. Thereâs an archery tournament coming up soon." She frowned a little- usually she would be the obvious choice for the tournamentâs lead, but ever since that transfer student had showed upâŚ
"Back then, it was my job to know everything about my enemies. I tried to help the generals by making reports on the five of you but clearly that was wasted on them. All three fell asleep reading what I had made. Only goes to show how boring all five of you were actually."
He floated over to Reika and didn't lose his smile. At the mention of the archery tournament, he thought she would be delighted to be part of it. Her frown said otherwise so clearly something had gone wrong with it. Joker couldn't help but want to pry into things.
"What's wrong, Reika? Are you losing to someone for once in your life?"

To say that Reika was startled by the appearance of her old nemesis was putting it lightly- for a brief moment, it even showed on her otherwise usually perfect poker face.
"How did you get here, Joker?" Reika asked, a warning tone laced in her voice. She had forgotten what he had tried to do to her and all of her friends- how could she?
"The last I saw of you, you had dissolved into Bad End Ink. How is it that youâre before me now?"
"I wasn't completely gone, you know. I became part of Pierrot and once you destroyed him, I was free from that."

Joseph stepped back a little when Amaya sneezed. He would need to make certain that blanket got at least washed twice. He did look a little upset by Amayaâs sad reaction though.
"I donât want to run any risks, Amaya. With my father in a coma, I need to stay at my best to run things. Letâs get you back to bed, okay? May not be fair but it is what you need to do."
"âŚ.I thought h-heâd wake up soonâŚ" *Amaya mumbled it quietly as she could, not wanting to make Mr Joker mad. She couldnât help it, thoughâŚScary as his father sounded, and as much as a huge part of her didnât want him to wake up (and she still had the paper Kokoro had given her, thank goodness for that), a tiny part of her said that if he did, Mr Joker would be able to play with her more. Because he wouldnât be so busy. It was a very tiny part, yes, but sometimes, like now, it was a bit louder.*
Joseph did catch what she said and decided to reply to it.
"Iâm not sure when heâll wake up."Â
He saw some worry in her about it but he was partly hoping his dad wouldnât wake up any time soon. At least while Amaya was still at risk of being deemed useless to the gang. Her powers did show some promise so if he could convince his Dad she was worth keeping around, he wouldnât have to get the order to kill her.
*Amaya sniffled again, hugging the blankets tighter around herself. Theyâd had this conversation before, she knew, butâŚ.*
"IâI me-meantâŚ*sniff* i-if he was a-a-awake youâdâŚi-if he woke up soon, y-you could play wif me againâŚâcause y-youâre busy s-sho muchâŚâ *she sneezed again, seemed to shrink into the blankets*Â
"I miss onii-chan.â *That was what sheâd really wanted to say, why sheâd even left her room*

He sighed a little, that was true. If he had time he could spend some time playing but with things how they were, he had to leave that up to his lackeys.Â
Joseph frowned a little at being called Onii-chan again. He took one of the tissues and then pinched Amaya's nose for a second or two.
"I told you not to call me onii-chan."

Joker didn't respond to her right away, choosing to finish his lunch first. This doughnuts still were better than expected so this place was worth visiting from time to time.

With one hand, she pulled out a tissue and blew her nose as she followed Mr Joker into the hallway, blanket trailing behind her. Holding the tissue to her nose, she looked up at him again, a slight look of distress on her face*Â
"B-butâŚbuâ itâsh boring ân thereâŚâm jusht in bed anâ I wanâ playâŚ" *she sniffled again; it was hard to tell if it was because her flu or if she was about to cry.* "A-AnââŚanâ I wanâ be wif you...â

Seeing it was Amaya made him frown. He thought he told that wolf to keep a eye on her! Apparently he couldnât even do that. He shouldâve had the witch watch over Amaya instead.
"What woke you up?"
*It took a few moments for Amaya to register that someone was talking to her. And that sheâd gone into Mr Jokerâs office. Oh, she hadnât expected thatâŚ* âMmmfâŚâ *she wiped at her nose again, eyes squeezed shut for a bit*
"Mmm..nothinâ woke mâ upâŚI woke up mâselfâŚ" *she sneezed again, covering it with her blanket before looking up at Mr Joker. Tried to smile* "I wasâŚwas lookinâ for sâmâone to play withâŚ"
Joseph stepped back a little once seeing Amaya wipe her nose. Being the boss meant he couldnât get sick. He went over to his desk and got out a tissue box before handing it to Amaya. At the very least, he wanted her to stop wiping her germs onto her hands.
"You canât play right now, Amaya. Youâre sick."
He moved past her to be in the hallway.
"You need more rest."

Thereâd been a sudden downpour as school was letting out, and when her ride was a bit late, she thought itâd be best not to trouble anyone; so sheâd set off to walk home. Without an umbrella - hey, it was sudden. In any case, sheâd finally made it home soaking wet and cold, and even after sheâd been dried off and warm, she still felt badâŚlike she had for a few days now, actually. And then the next day she turned out to have the flu virus thatâd been going around at school that week.
Good news was she got to stay home from school. Bad news was she felt horrible; whole body aching, forehead hot, sniffling, throat sore, tiredâŚAmaya didnât get sick often, but she decided she hated the flu. And to top it off, she was lonelier than usual.
Which was why, around early afternoon, a sniffling little girl in pajamas wrapped her blanket around herself and shuffled down the hallways, trying to find someone to play with her. Well, maybe not play, but something.Â
She came to a closed door, but didnât want to knockâjust in case no one was inside, so she wouldnât wait out front for nothing. So instead, sneezing again and wiping her nose on her nightgown sleeve, she fumbled for the knob and started to just open it instead*
