Of course! I’m on this the cruise unnie. I’d love to spend as much time with you as possible. We can do anything together or just relax on the ship. I’m fine with anything we do together. I don’t have too many people who are dying to spend time with me so you can take up all my time.

well, the universe decided to humble me in the form of bad luck today and i am here because i need to get it out of my system with a good ol’ rant and you’re the first soul ( talk about unlucky, eh ? ) i’ve encountered. after a super hectic, albeit fun weekend of press for evil dead rise i woke up a little on the hungover side and in desperate need of coffee in my veins, so i got my arse up to make it happen and thought hey, let’s do the eco - friendly thing of walking to the local coffee shop a couple blocks from my apartment instead of ordering on uber - eats or whatever. figured the walk and a smoke would help my zombie - like mood. and that was a long - winded way of me saying i went on a quick walk specifically to buy a shit ton of overpriced caffeine and smoke a cigarette on the journey. a fairly regular morning routine for ya girl only to find out a, i forgot my card and b, also forgot my lighter. anyways, besides my frankly terrible, no good, very bad morning ── how are y’all doing ? catch me up and fill me in on all the glorious things you’ve been up to. or looking forward to with this cruise coming up .. i don’t know, dude, please just give me something so i don’t do the pathetic thing and cry over my two trips to starbucks with the world’s most bitchin’ headache.  ❪ ⠀ * @gonehollywoodstarters . ⠀ ❫

Oh that sucks that both of those things happened to you. I swear I always have a fear that I’m gonna leave something important at home whenever I go out so I have to double check multiple times it doesn’t happen at all. I even have my group members remind me as well before we leave our dorm just to make sure even more. I’ve been busy at the moment since we’ve been doing things for our group which I’m still hoping at some point we’ll put out an album of sorts at some point. I feel we’d easily have a ton of music to make a full or even mini album. Other than that I’ve been trying to relax when I can. I’m looking forward to enjoying every part of the cruise when and probably just get as much sun as possible. It will be nice not to have to deal with a work schedule at all. Don’t cry. I swear I would have helped you out with your struggles if I could in some way.

Oh i am so glad you enjoy our performance, i was really nervous but it was so much fun, when we have our next little break you and i need a proper hang out, maybe go to a museum or something and you can tell me all about new work because secret number is constantly on repeat on my phone.

I feel I always do when I get the chance to see you all perform. Those performances were all so amazing and the outfits were perfect as well. I won’t mind that. it really is something to see. i’m sure it’s great for them to be able to look back on, too, because in the moment it all feels like a blur. i’m really glad squid game blew up the way it did ── i need to sit down and watch it all the way through one of these days. i’m a few years late, but better late than never!

Ahhh i am excited as well but i’ll be honest i am also pretty nervous so if you so me jumping around is just to calm my nerves, ooooh really you think you may be able to be there, i have a few friends flying over and if you can we should hang out!

You did well though and you are killing it tonight as well! I’m so proud of you unnie. I made sure to come see if in person since my schedule isn’t as busy at the moment and I’m so glad I did so. It was amazing. I’m so glad you all got this opportunity to headline. I don’t think anyone else could have done a better job but I’m being biased here haha.

You’d think after I deadbolted myself out of my hotel room in Paris a while back I’d not do something equally stupid again any time soon, however - I have locked myself out of my apartment and spent a good 3 hours on my own fire escape today so clearly doors and I just aren’t meant to be friends. Anyone else completely unable to open or close the most normal thing in life or is it just me?

I’ve done that myself a few times when overseas and even when I’m hope in Seoul. I’d have to hope one of the girls were there to let me in otherwise I’d have to wait around. Though I do try to call one of the staff or our manager to see if they can get me back in as well. I’m the same way so it’s definitely not you. Seems my mind loves to forget the most simple things.

I’ve reached this point in my life when I need a hobby or something.  I don’t want to take up golf, or surf.  I grew up on an island.  If I wanted to do that, I would have started already.  I’m newly divorced and I should be exploring this new freedom, but I’m also not the guy who used to hit up the clubs and party all night.  Ideas, suggestions, thoughts of randomness?  I’m here for it.  @gonehollywoodstarters​

So do you want something outside of those things then. I actually have picked up doing crafts and doing art as a hobby. It’s a nice way to unwind after a full day of performing or practicing choreography. Collecting certain items can be a bit of a hobby. I’ve also seen that things like gardening as well as cooking are both pretty good hobbies as well if you wanna go in that direction at all. I have more ideas if those don’t appeal to you at all.

Really? Wow, you’re so sweet. I’m obsessed with the world of kpop. The talent you guys possess is next level. Teach me your ways, please. Wait, really? Feel free to teach me the choreography you’ve came up with. That’s something I always struggle with. It’s so great that my music inspires you to do that though. Is this compliment Ariana day and I didn’t know about it? You’re making me so happy right now. You and the other girls in Secret Number have my heart. I’ve been playing Like It Like It for eleven days straight and there’s no signs of it stopping now.

Are you? I love that honestly. It takes a lot of training and hard work but we all love doing this as a career. I can teach you what I can. I’ll be sure to when we are in the same place! I’m sure you’ve love it. It was something I did in between practicing once and I love it. It is in my mind haha. You deserve all the compliments possible. Aww, that makes me so happy to hear. I’m glad you love it and keep playing it. It’s getting all the attention possible which makes me and the girls so happy.

That would be amazing! I always bring someone on stage with me and having you girls up there would be an honour. I know and I’m so appreciative of the support there. I haven’t been to South Korea in 12 years which is insane. I’ve wanted to come back but with Reputation my old management wasn’t convinced it’d do well as a tour and since then I haven’t been able to get back on tour. This time I’m going to try really hard to go to as many places as I can. Your stylist sounds sweet. Are you guys close? How much input do you have for your outfits? I’m not too sure on how the music industry works over there but it’s relatively normal to put out multiple singles before having an album out, right?

Please! We’d all love that so much and would be right there to perform right beside you. You should definitely comeback when you can. I know many in South Korea adore you a ton. I hope you get to go to as many places possible. I know all your fans will appreciate it. She is! Each one we have are the sweetest. I am close with her and she just seems to know what looks the best on me no matter what. I have a decent amount of input. It really depends on company over here since I know some groups were putting out albums once they started whether it was a full album or mini album. So it seems to just be dependent on what our company wants to do.

Between hiding myself for no good reason and watching old reruns of Lost, I’m so lost on what’s been going on right now in the world and yet, I would love to go on vacation to Europe or something. What’s been going on with you guys, what are you watching lately? @gonehollywoodstarters

I wish I could do that but I’m always busy doing something. I get that though. No matter what it seems you can easily get lost on what’s going on in the world. Ooo, I hope you get that chance to go on vacation to Europe. I wanna do that as well now. I’ve been working and in between that, I’ve been watching a lot of K-dramas that Netflix has to offer whenever I have the chance.

do you guys leave south korea a lot for work? that’s when you start craving your own bed again, when you have to leave the state or country! we can’t complain too much as our work is a lot more fun than a normal 9-5.

We have a few times. Like we’ve been to Indonesia as well as Japan a few times to do performances. I’m eagerly awaiting for the day we head to America since I wanna meet the fans we have there. I always miss my bed when traveling. Can’t help it haha. That’s true, don’t think I’d want a normal 9-5. The only complaints I’d have are what others have said before about companies and how hard it can be to debut.
