That’s great! Makes me think maybe this clique situation isn’t as serious as we really think. Why shouldn’t she join the club? I think she’d be good in the club. I haven’t actually heard her sing, but Academics are good at everything, right? Oh, well thank you for that very true opinion, Rachel. I really appreciate that. I’m sure we all would. You know, sometimes it’s nice to hear someone compliment you rather than doing it yourself. Bridges are meant to be crossed are they not? My parents are a little…crazy, so yeah I have to do that. Otherwise they go through and see who I’ve been texting and then I get interrogated and not only do I get my phone taken away, I end up having to introduce my parents to who I’ve been texting. It’s just easier to do what I do. It’s okay, though. Since I delete my texts anyways, it’s nice to have something to look back on. Well yes, that’s true, but they’ve sort of always been like that. Thank you for having so much faith in me, Rachel, it really means a lot considering you’re one of the most inspiring people at this school. I only listen to classical music when I do homework. I’m not a huge fan of the genre, but it helps me think so I play it. Other than that, it’s just instrumentals of my favorite songs. If anyone asks, I heard exercise and exciting! There are quite a few that are less motivated, it’s best not to make that situation worse, right? Yes, I’ve spoken to Brittany and I know of her many…what she’s very fond of. I’d never do that. I’m pretty sure I’ll embarrass myself another way. I’d be sure to go before any major performance, so you have nothing to worry about, Rachel. I’m not wearing a diaper, but do you think we’d need to take it that far? For some of the others? 

Certain cliques get along better than others, I’ll admit. I personally would never want to spend time with the gamers, or the skanks, but mean girls and hipsters and academics are pleasant. Santana’s already got plenty of accolades to her name; she doesn’t need to add the arts to her already impressive resume. I joined glee club partially as an opportunity to catch up with her in terms of appeal to college scouts. Did you do something to make them feel the need to be so extreme in their monitoring of you? How on earth are you ever able to have any sort of privacy? I’ve always seen a spark in you, Mason! I’m glad that you seem to really be living up to your potential. Classical music is excellent for stimulating underused parts of your brain, so I applaud that decision, even though you haven’t learned to really enjoy the beauty of it yet. Brittany’s a bit promiscuous but people seem to enjoy her company despite knowing her reputation, so I suppose that’s their mistake to make. Perhaps we should subtly investigate this matter and see if there are any people who might be at risk!

Lets not and say we did seeing as I did not see, in my post, any point where I asked for an opinion. Namely, your opinion. My post was simple and played its role in letting everyone know I’m here. That’s the entire point of the post. They already know who I am, so what’s the point in blabbing any information about myself other than the fact that I, Kurt Hummel, made an appearance on this godforsaken website.

I wasn’t aware that opinions had to be solicited before they could be stated. I suppose your post was satisfactory if you’re really just content to make your name at McKinley High School and McKinley High School alone, but some of us have higher aspirations than that and wish to draw in a larger fanbase.

It seems odd that you’re a part of a clique that you don’t want to associate with; have you ever considered trying to make the leap into a more suitable group of people? But I’m glad to hear that you’re not interested in solos! While your voice is quite lovely, I feel that we’ll all get along much better as a team if there are less people jealous of me getting a majority of the desirable female parts.

On that we can agree. Though, I think we’re still a few generations out before we live in a tolerant civilization. Given all of the racial problems, and that there’s still such inequalities in even the pay scale for people that aren’t white, cis-gendered male, I’d say we have a long way to go. 

You raise excellent points, Quinn; it’s been rather discouraging to see that racial tensions have actually grown over the past few years rather than subsiding. If I were more politically oriented, I’d consider a career that would put me in a position of power where I might help, but instead I think I’ll focus on the wage gap that you’ve spoken about. Did you know that the highest payed female soccer player this year only makes 40,000 dollars per season, whereas the highest paying male makes 52 million? It’s a bit disgusting, really.
