(My thoughts on this drawing) I didn’t draw it thinking that Matthias, isn't used to receiving affection from his father but that he just probably wouldn't hug back even if he was hugged, but if he squeezed so tightly that his hair and clothes get all messed up, he might feel his father's love and shed tears. Not really sure if I worded this correctly or if it makes any sense.
