It's Wildlife Wednesday! Today we are featuring the three lined salamander (Eurycea guttolineata). Being such a humid state, it's not surprising that Alabama is home to 73 indigenous amphibians - 43 of which are salamanders! This is a fairly common species, but still a delight to see.

Work in progress. The book shelf was handmade I think by my grandfather in the seventies or something. Itโs solid wood and rough finish. But I sat on top and it held my weight nicely so I think Iโll put the aquarium on top.

Also their tank is very beautiful, Iโve had this tank before. Besides the fact that itโs super hard to do water changes on since the opening is so small, itโs a great tank! Their aquascape is GORGEOUS! And theyโre ADOPTING a Betta. ย Not buying a Betta (from a commercial pet store,) ADOPTING one.
