And it has another great FL to boot, love Chae-ni aka the trainwreck of Haeseong. Didn't even realize it was the same lead actress (Park Eun-bin) from Castaway Diva — which was one of the first KDramas I watched when I got sucked back into them, last summer — until I was already an episode in. The hairstyle totally threw me off. Definitely need to watch more with Cha Eun-woo, he was great in this! Choi Dae-hoon and Im Sung-jae were fantastic too! Also loved the opening credits, never skipped them cause they were so cool.

First time, in a looooong time, that I can say I actually adored the FL. Changyu was such a great character! So was Zheng. Loved them both so much.

This is how the k-pop collecting starts... decided to buy one version of the new BTS album on cd, so far I've stuck to that. But then I saw the single of SWIM on cassette and vinyl and couldn't decide, so I got both because I'm absolutely obsessed with that song right now. Have not bought a single, since I was a kid, but I still have the same cassette player. This thing is a beast, still works and still had Pure Moods in it... which I ended up listening to. Broke out my discman from high school too.

Until it sounds right.

While this isn't technically a BL... it's about a high school girl who writes BL web novels and has an absolutely wild imagination.

The first 4 episodes, that came out last week, were fantastic... I honestly didn't think it could get any funnier. But they proved me wrong with the two new episodes that dropped today.

But I also love the part where you start adding in new paragraphs and you figure out a way to seamlessly connect it back to what you’ve already written. It's also fun taking the bones of sentences and fleshing them out with more details and different wording, until they sound exactly how you want or better. It’s little things like that that make writing so much fun.

The only thing that can be difficult is letting go of parts of your story that no longer work. Whether it's saying goodbye to whole paragraphs or a just a sentence or two, I always hold on longer than I should and second guess myself way too much.

On a more fun note... I've been playing this song on repeat, A LOT, while I’m writing. Been hooked on it ever since I heard it in Cupid’s Last Wish, a few weeks ago. I’ll be completely shocked if it doesn’t end up in my Spotify wrapped at the end of the year. 😂

Also got a long car trip coming up soon... thinking I'll use that time to do some reading and call it research. 😝 Gonna dive into the original source material of the two universes I'm combining. Already started The Cards Tell Me It's You (aka My Magic Prophecy) and I'm really enjoying it. This is probably the start of a slippery slope because I'm gonna wanna read more Thai BL novels after this.

Now that I've finally seen it... omg, it was sooooo good!!! Literally binged it in a day. PuenTalay are adorable. And the colors are so darn beautiful.

I should probably watch Last Twilight next... so I can call myself a true JimmySea fan. Although I have watched My Magic Prophecy an unhealthy amount of times, so I think I get bonus points for that. 😂

I'm gonna need a bigger plate if I keep coming up with ideas like this. I’m already in the middle of working on three fics (with a bunch of other ideas just waiting)… do I really need to add another into the mix. Yes. Yes I do. I already wrote up a short summary that I’m pretty excited about!

Me at 3am, this morning, when I couldn't sleep. Started thinking about one of my fic ideas (that is still in the very early stages) and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm so Duang-coded... understand this level of excitement all too well. Wanted to tell someone... but none of my friends watch BL (or would have been awake 😂). So even if I did share, it would probably just sound like a bunch of nonsense.

But I'm happy to report that I've come up with a plan for the BOF fic. And I’m officially adding it to my plate. Another fusion fic… honestly think this is even more ambitious than the one I’m currently working on.

It’s been on my list for awhile because:

A: it was mentioned in Me and Thee

B: It had so many actors that I knew (from BLs) in it

And C: I vaguely remembered running into the og manga during my college days, when I lived and breathed manga

Absolutey adored Dew in it. Ren was hands down my favorite character. Second fave was probably MJ. First show I've watched with Nani. Will definitely be watching more.

Also have to give a shout-out to First and Kay who killed it in their roles. I mean First come on, he's always good (I may be biased 😂) but damn Kay blew me out of the water. Enjoying his character in Love You Teacher, even more now.

This show was sooooo freaking good!!! Couldn’t stop watching it. Ended up sleeping maybe 4 hours last night, when I knew I had to be at work by 6:30 in the am. But I was totally in that “just one more episode” mindset.

And even though I loved it… I wasn’t that far into watching it before I was already like “why was there never a BL version made of this?!” I know there's multiple versions from multiple countries already. But that didn’t stop me from thinking about who I’d cast as who, if it was a BL.

Of course that led to me wanting to write a fic. I don't know if I’d drop characters (that my choices played in other series) into this new universe or if I'd use the actor’s names, which I guess would technically be RPF. It's something to seriously think about. Because if I chose characters, that could lead me down quite the rabbit hole and it would be quite a mish-moshing of shows. Doesn't mean I don't already have a few thoughts in mind. 😂😭

I really don't need to add another fic to my plate, at the moment, have too many I'm in the middle of already. Nothing's stopping me from compiling ideas for it, for a later date though. Haven't completely decided who I'd choose to play who, yet, but I had already started a list before I even finished the show. 😂
