Long day complete and now I’m happily couch surfing with these cuties waiting for Supernatural to start tonight.

I love this special long boi so much. He’s a gift to the world (and he knows it).

Did you know Silken Windhounds lay, then hatch from multicolored blocks? The male chooses his favored block to nest with.

But, the pups and I have happily landed with some family and figured out how to Tetris it all together. Ryker is the most pleased. He’s got a bigger bed, AC, and sunbeams to nap in. :) You can tell he’s just really, really upset about all this. He’s also surprisingly turned into an amazing babysitter dog (did not see that coming!). It helps when the human-puppy is a walking treat dispenser!

Prince Ryker’s process of post breakfast grooming. Step 1: Retire to your grooming couch filled with All The Pillows. All of them. Step 2: Take care of your ears. Really get in there with your rabbit toes. Step 3: Fluff your feathers. Butt feathers especially! Step 4: Once grooming is complete switch to your nap chair. This is where you trick humans into thinking you’ll be content for more than 5 minutes, but really are just waiting for them to get comfortable with their morning coffee so you then can snark at them for not paying attention to you. This is immediately followed by disgruntled pacing, huffing, and demands for more breakfast. The humans will most likely ignore you, but YOU know your point has been made so you settle back into your nap chair content.

Sunday afternoon nap tip #587: Brothers make the best foot rests/body pillow.

This is the face of a little Prince that is going to cost me $150 to mulch and rework the back run because he’s having anxiety over walking in the dirt like a normal dog to do their business. ... He has started refusing to step off the little concrete step further than a couple feet to pee .... then stands there and drools and whines at me to be let in. So he can then poop on the concrete patio.

TGIF!! Jake and Ryker say they’ve worked realllllyyy hard all week (hey, being cute and napping is tough!) and deserve this.

He needs All the Pillows, as befitting a little Prince, to enjoy his treat. (And keeps side-eyeing me because I won’t hold it for him to chew).
