Sam is a gentle-natured albeit cocky agent. Cautious but not timid, Sam prides himself in his neat tendencies and organised way of doing things. Hes analytical, cool-headed and laid back. He always seems to have the right thing to say in a given situation
Unlike most snow leopards, Sam is actually rather social - an ambivert with a soft voice and kind way of speaking. Nobody's heard of him raising his voice, some wonder if he even CAN. hes well-mannered and paitent, however this tolerance tends to waver from person to person. He's best described as amicable - much unlike his partner, he doesnt go out of his way to befriend everyone he knows, but won't be mean. He also isnt as quick to forgive as Kit, known for being stand offish with those he senses something off about.
Sam can be a bit sensitive and takes criticism and insults to heart no matter how playful. Hes a Germaphobe who hate strong smells, wet fur and odd textures and a picky eater. He, however, has a powerful sweet tooth and will practically gravitate to anything containing sugar. He also likes fish! He tends to be easy to startle and is often described as high strung, aswell as being an overthinker.
Hes surprisingly fatherly and good with kids, with a seeming subconscious ability to care for anything smaller than himself. His kind eyes have a way of relaxing those around him - just as he keeps a relaxed nature through meditation (which he takes far too seriously).
Unlike most snow leopards who sleep up to 18 hours a day, Sam's schedule is too busy to do so. As a result he follows a strict routine of taking a nap at around 1pm. According to Kit, he gets irritated and antsy if his 'cat nap' is interrupted or missed.
Sam frequently visits the hyena clan he was accepted into - as a result has taken to some of their humour. Aswell as this, he's close to Director Scratch, Philip Night and his son junior, Wally Bungler, Cubby, Indie and of course, Kit. He takes on a mentor role to Junior, Cubby and Indie in particular.
Hes fascinated by astronomy and botany..and is a bit of a conspiracy theorist.
Kit is a ball of energy and life in a small package. She lives on discovery and learning, no matter how small. Shes passionate and enthusiastic about all things! She keeps an open mind to unfamiliar experiences and knowledge.
Kit is an extrovert through and through. She always seems to know what others are thinking and is often the voice for her partner when he doesnt feel up to it. She's also surprisingly good at conflict de-escalation thanks to her street smarts and large presence in a conversation. She loves to tease and joke around to a fault, however can be shockingly comforting it needed! Shes forgiving and borders on naive, trying to see the best in everybody. She connects with others through being relatable rather than being polite.
She has a bad habit of being reckless and impatient, rushing into things without a second thought or making decisions for others - which doesnt mix well with her occasional stubbornness. She always means well despite this. She's unphased by things others may find disgusting and can be seen as a bit...weird due to the odd things she's excited by. She's got a 'try anything' attitude towards just about every aspect of life.
She has highly sensitive hearing. While this means she catches things others cant, it also makes her averse to situations that may create alot of noise. She dislikes but tolerates loud household appliances like vacuum cleaners. Thankfully she can trust Sam to keep her grounded when a sound is unavoidable
Kit has forged a close friendship with Barb the scorpion - the two playfully butt heads with each meeting. Kit is also particularly close to the mice squad, Stinkwells, Wally Bungler, Cubby and of course, Sam. She gets along with anyone she meets, really.
She famously is an avid zoologist but however is a lesser known art and music lover!
