It’s 3 AM and you are heading to the kitchen to consume the shredded cheese as usual. Unusually, a wizard in full robes is there, already eating the cheese.

“There have been rumors that the pond over there can show you your greatest fear. It’s false. I can assure you, I’ve visited it myself. The only thing there was my own reflection.”

Everyone knows it’s too dangerous to swim in the ocean. However, sitting at the end of the docks or peering over the edge of a boat, you’ve always felt the inexplicable urge to dive into the water. One day, despite the danger, you give in the urges and jump. There’s an entire world beneath the surface, and it’s not what you were expecting.

The world is literally a ginormous building in which everyone lives. Each floor represents a generation. The building was set on fire millennia ago, but the fire spread slowly, engulfing another floor every few decades. No one has noticed yet… except you. Now the fire is spreading much more rapidly and the building won’t last much longer. You have found the blueprints of the building and are trying to help everyone escape, but some ignorant folks have convinced everyone, including your “friends”, that you are lying.

When someone dies, their soul is wiped of its memories to be put into a new body. However, you are an anomaly, and can recall every lifetime you have gone through over the last few centuries. 

The creatures of myth, fantasy and dreams are real. All children know this and can talk to them but when they become a certain age their ‘sight’ is blocked by a spell, you were for an unknown reason unaffected by this spell and are still aware of everything.

Your prince had awakened you from your slumber after eating a poisoned apple. You quickly send him away, not interested in love. You return to your cottage in the woods with your seven dwarves. They know what you crave. Even the dopiest can see it. Several months later, they bring you a dagger. The blade is jagged and the silver handle had a large diamond forged into it. They tell you the diamond is cursed to torment murdered souls. You quickly go from a wanted girl to a feared ruler by taking out the queen.

Every day you’ve dealt with your terrible stepmother and your equally terrible and ugly stepsisters as you’ve done your chores. One day, an invitation to the prince’s ball comes to your late father’s estate. After your late mother’s dress is destroyed, you find an elderly woman in front of you. She waves her wand through the air and suddenly a blue ball gown with glass slippers appear on the bench next to you. She claims you can go to the ball for only a small price. You have to kill the prince.

Every newborn is assigned two spirits, a sort of being represented by animals. They both make up your identity. Your companion spirit represents you, and your fear spirit determines a terrible fate. Somehow, both spirits will aid your journey through life. It was once thought that you can never have the same animal for both spirits. Alas, you are a complex situation that has perplexed even the brightest of minds. You have the Swan, the symbol of love, for both spirits.

You are transported to an alternate universe seemingly based upon DND. In it, to find that all your friends exist in this world as adventurers. The problem? They’ve either never met each other, or actively despise each other, and they have no idea who you are. It’s up to you to bring them all together and make the ultimate adventure party so you can get home

One day, humanity awakens to the corpses of Cthulhu, Shub-Niggurath, and the other Elder Gods littered across the planet. Their assailant, a human who’s apparently higher up on the food chain than even them…
