- In Memoriam - On 9th November 2021 I lost my boy, my best boy, my closest friend. I am absolutely heartbroken to tell everyone that Harley was put to sleep as his previously diagnosed cancer took too much hold. He was diagnosed over two years ago, with weeks (maybe months) left. And for the days, weeks, months and years he stayed with me, I will always be truly grateful to him. As I did with Evie, I wanted to write something, not for me, but to celebrate the one and only Harley. I cannot find the words or even begin to describe how much Harley will be missed or how much I absolutely adored and loved him. My heart has been so broken over the last few weeks and the sadness and void is going to be around for a long time. He had such an incredible presence everywhere he went, and I know the joy and happiness he brought to everyone will be indescribably missed. The smile that that boy had and consequently spread around was incredible. Rather than go on about how much HB will obviously be missed, Iโd like to share a few of my fondest memories. โข He and Evie had a very love/hate relationship. He would always act independent, and like others to think he was a big man, but would be all over Evie kissing, cleaning and cwtching her! They were inseparable. A proper sibling love, and he was her big brother, always there for all of us. โข My handsome boy was credited and won awards for his handsome-ness. At a charity dogs event, they did dog showing for fun. Knowing he could never, ever be entered into something like that, I signed him up for โThe Most Handsomeโ event. And through a LOAD of dogs, he sat and walked and was judged and won second place! And he was SO happy! To me, he was, and ALWAYS will be the most handsome.
