maybe first, before you come for me, I'm really not doing this to be contrarian or "cool" or different or to provoke people.

Since [spoiler] Essek is becoming a thing again, I told myself to try and start liking him, just to not be frustrated with all the screaming fanpeople out there and to maybe unblock the tag on tumblr. I'm rewatching Campaign 2 anyway, so I'll also be trying to find that which others seem to adore so much about him. After my first time watching, the only thing Mr Hotboi has been in my eyes so far is just that - a man enjoying pretty privilege and therefore is best character and can do no wrong. And also a foil to Caleb and a good person to latch onto as his new shipping prospect after Molly died (wow, now that I'm writing this it seems really mean, but it is actually how I feel about him, I'm very sorry) [for clarification, I'm not saying Essek's a bad character. He's actually an incredibly well-done character. I just couldn't ever vibe with his character or thought processes]

Makes me dislike Kingsley from the start, really. Also because he simply shouldn't be thrown in the pot as a member of a mighty nein reunion???

I'm an avid drawfee watcher and stumbled across a charity stream they did in 2019.

3) I want a grandiose ball episode with everyone dancing AND espionage shenanigans

5) I want Paté's girlfriend to make an appearance

6) I want that kid Daniel from the gondola to also be at the party and see Imogen again

Yes there are lots of things I like about it.

Yes, this is my opinion.

Yes you can ignore it.

No I don't hate CR, please don't be toxic and think if I'm in this fandom I have to agree with everything.

So, here's what I dislike:

-pacing: the show crams way too much into way too little time, there's no suspense, no worrying, no quietness to ponder. With this also comes not being able to really pick out scenes that are more memorable than others.

-crudeness: all things considered, I'm far from a prude, but all the dickjokes etc. just feel like they're here because they can, pointless and way too much - they also make the characters less likeable rather than more relateable

-animation: not on a whole, it's gooood. BUT. I always have a reeeal hard time when styles are mixed, to the point where I stop a series because of it, and the dragon's animation is just so different from everything else that I almost stopped watching.

-characters: this is of course also due to pacing, but they lack any amount of depth. They aren't intriguing for the most part - sure, for many who have seen C1 this is fine because we know much more about them, but from a standpoint of someone who hasn't watched C1, they probably aren't interesting enough to really latch onto.

-advertising: "try a free 30-day amazon prime to watch our show". Need I say more?

- bringing back guest characters

- Laura playing a Barbarian or Warlock

- Taliesin playing a wizard

- an openly gay (mlm) player character

- a chubby, openly sex-positive female-presenting player character

- a player character with intact family with no problems (the main issue of backstory then obviously lying somewhere else to have drama)

- a trans player character (however this might in itself be problematic with the fans as the cast arent themselves trans)

- Matt romancing someone other than Liam via his NPCs
