finished my outsiders reread and cried, proceeded to rewatch the movie and cry again, and now i’m mourning my youth along with johnny cade and STILL crying 🍺٩(ˊᗜˋ )و

picked up my copy of the outsiders on a whim and got reminded of why 13 year old me fell in love with it way back in middle school. what a gut-wrenching story of youth, loss, and love, and what a beautiful reminder to always stay gold, even as i continue to grow farther and farther from who i used to be, away from innocence, away from youth ☼
