Not what I expected
Very cool concept, not so much in execution. The Spec5 Spectre is a portable Meshtastic device sold by SpecFive LLC (why they interchange “Five” and “5” I do not know, but they do). Described as an Android Off-Grid Mesh Connectivity Phone, a unique combination of Android smartphone features and advanced LoRa mesh technology. This is accurate. It is a Haltek V3 LoRA device, with a battery, in a 3D case that also comes with an Android phone and a stubby little antenna that is typical for Mesh clients. It is shipped ready to go, power it on and get mesh’n, it even comes with a couple Meshtastic games and two USB-C data\charging cables that while short at about 10″, are beefy and appear to be well-made. Yes, it has two identical cables, you’ll see why shortly, and it’s not in case you lose one. It’s not cheap at $144 but on paper, if you are looking for a portable, convenient, and all-in-one mesh device that with a SIM card can also be a phone , this looks pretty damn good with Wifi and GPS.

Calling for a general strike on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, lasting until our rights are secure. If you're human, don't go to work. Refuse to work until the right to abortion is the law of this country.
Useless billionaires in this country make money off your work, they use that money to buy off the supreme court, they use that money to payroll anti-abortion laws across this country.
Stop up the money they use to do it.
Wednesday. Wednesday June 1st, 2022. Strike. Strike until your rights are safe.
Grind this country to a halt and keep it stopped until everyone is permanently equal before the law at a federal level, at a state level, at a local level.
Strike in your home life too. If your partner has come out of the woodwork supporting abortion bans, stop sleeping with them. Stop doing their dishes. Stop making food for them. Stop helping pay their bills. They don't give a damn about one of your fundamental rights and until they do you should not give a damn about them.
Tell people in your life why you are striking. Ask them to come with you in solidarity. Take this to facebook, take it to twitter, take it to tiktok, take it to IG, tell Jamila Jamil, everyone around you. Explain why it matters that women must be treated equally before the law at every level in the United States.
Strike.
Strike on June 1, 2022. It's a Wednesday, it's called "hump day" with wagging eyebrows and leering smiles by creeps at work. Strike.
I'll be posting some links for supporting local abortion rights funds tomorrow when there are more spoons in the drawer.
My name is Catherine. Earlier this morning I got devastating phone ca… CATHERINE DONNELL needs your support for Funeral cost for my niece and her 2 children.
https://gofund.me/6342a89a I randomly make comments, generally I just sit here and oogle, laugh, and hit the causes that need a lift. I don't do traditional social media, so I am putting this here. This one is very personal to me. The woman who was killed was my daughter's best friend. The husband was her high school sweetheart, she was the one that got them together. They had 4 children, including an adopted child rescued from an abusive situation, 2 to 7 years old. Good people. Yesterday morning, there was an accident. Cora and the two middle children were killed. Trying to raise money to help Travis with expenses. If you can help - even $5 - it would be greatly appreciated.

Now, let’s get to the good stuff. Working out. First, let’s define them: Dead lifts – squat down, bending your knees, keeping your butt over your heals. Pick up weights from the floor and stand up with a little hip thrust at the top. Lower slowly.Overhead press – bring weights to your shoulders. Press the weights up straight over your head, do not look up. Lower slowly.Bench press – lay on your…

Damn, I feel like I’m on Sesame Street counting off hamsters or something, up to part six. I didn’t really expect this to drag out so far. If you have been with me from the start, thank you and good job. If you jumped right to here, I recommend you go back to number one and review each one. It isn’t required to work out, but there’s science that I think you might find helpful. Or not. Depends on…

If you’ve stuck with me in this series this far, WAY TO GO. I know, this isn’t nearly as much fun as meatballs or onion rings, but if you want to end up as the best you, it needs to be addressed. Today we are going to continue to build on everything we’ve learned thus far – and the most important thing in all of this? YOU. Any success you get isn’t because the Hobbit, nope, this is all you. All…

Yup, talking about this again: caloric intake, macros, mental, and metabolism – part four – setting macros and calories.
The last few articles in this series we’ve been talking about getting prepared mentally, emotionally, and gaining knowledge so that we can set ourselves up for success. I hope it has been interesting and helpful to this point. I know, you’re chomping at the bit, want to get to the meat (and riced cauliflower) of the subject: HOW DO WE USE THIS, HOBBIT? Before we start hitting the practical…

Phew, we’ve covered some tough stuff so far, a lot of it looking backwards. Now, let’s look forward. Where do we go from here? What do we do? What numbers are we looking at? What do we need to learn? Are you ready to learn? When will Hobbit stop asking damn questions? :). This is going to be a simplified (within the limits of science) and some of the statements will reflect that. In other words,…

Did you think about what I told you yesterday? Did you go in front of the mirror? Good job! I know, it feels weird in the beginning but it does work. CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) can be a powerful tool. We will leverage that in the days to come. I’ll try to be less touchy-feely today, but no promises :). Today, we will continue to build on what we talked about yesterday. Losing fat isn’t…

I stepped away for a few years to regroup, as many of you know. I come back, and the same questions and issues still exist in the broader landscape of the keto world. Some of the stuff I preached from the beginning is now slowly getting accepted, I like that. Some of those things are higher protein, watch sugar alcohols, watch out for dairy, not everyone is the same, and yes, you can eat too much…

Hobbit reviews: Silk’s non-dairy Half n Half.
Why am I looking at, let alone using a non-dairy half n half? As we’ve discussed recently (and I’ve been preaching this for years), dairy isn’t always your friend. While yes, you can cut it out completely, that kinda sucks when it is iced coffee weather or if you want to use a cream-like liquid in a baked or cooked recipe. Up until recently, there were not many options. There have been on the…
