May have messed this up, mashing together two respiratory systems is hard

Many farmers in the Burren area participate in the winterage practice where they pasture their livestock on the limestone uplands for the winter. This system can be beneficial for the landscape since the livestock reduce the hazel scrub and their hooves puncture the soil. This makes room for different native plants and boosts biodiversity. It is also beneficial for the animals since they aren’t subjected to muddy and moist winter conditions that can cause hoof problems thanks to the rocky terrain. The feral goats, descendants of the Old Irish Goat, and Kerry Cattle are depicted.

While many from the desert have built a tolerance for meat, they can’t rely on a purely carnivorous diet. K’daolo eats an 80% meat diet to mirror their patron animal. However, this comes with malnourishment and lacking the astaxanthin pigment that gives their skin a yellow coloration and protects them from the sun. Little plants also affects their luciferin levels, making their bioluminescence very weak.

There’s still a lot I’d like to expand on, but for a semesters worth of time I got pretty far :)

Wish I got a little more creative with the organ systems, but the thought of reinventing organs seemed a little out of my knowledge set at the time. Will probably rework them later.
