كنتُ أظن أن لدي عيبًا يعطلني، وهو أني لا أعرف الكثير عن الحياة والناس، وأن تجاربي تدور في أفلاك معينة ربما تكون قاصرة.

الآن أعرف أن الغفلة جنبتني الكثير من قبح العالم، ومن قبح نفسي. ليس علي أن أنشغل بالتجارب وتقييمها كل هذا الانشغال، والخروج بالدروس، والتعامل مع الحمولة العاطفية لها لسنين طويلة من عمري.

ربما الأولى الانشغال بسلامة نفسي وحسب. ولن أفلت من وصمي بكل الصفات التي أكره من أي شخص أو مجموعة لها مبرراتها لهذا الوصم. فلا داعي لإيجاد حلول لذلك.
