I have had an immensely active social life as of late. I am surprised. You are surprised. Apparently the only person not surprised by this was my mother. The design team at the paper are a terribly chatty group and they try to go out every weekend, which is something I'm still finding kind of odd. I'm not that old? My mom is still going out with friends and she's in her 50's. Remind me to ask her for advice about hanging around 20-somethings. I wasn't even good at that when I was 20.

Anyway! My youngest sister was on Spring Break last week, so I went to visit her and my family. High school is going well for her and that makes me very happy! She's passing most of her classes but also keeping the family tradition of not being that great in history.

But yeah, I just got back in this morning, and then I did some stuff for work that I needed to do. And now here I am! I really need to pick back up on some personal photography projects I've been meaning to do but haven't found time for. And sewing.... I need to find that craft store I stumbled across again. I forget the exact address but I know it's in Sanctuary. If anyone could help me out with that, that would be great!

I've been trying to build up hours and earn vacation time :I It's taking a while because I can't actually stay in the office and work 24/7 like I could and work the whole time.

So much potential for efficiency, too weighed down by trying not to seem like an insomniac among other things.

But I finally have a day off! So far I managed to do some sewing and finish a book. It's been a good day as of yet.

There's someone in my office that can recite pi to... I think it was 100 digits? That's more than I could do. I was never a math person. He got a standing ovation from us because I was not alone in my lack of math skills.

Turns out there's a little bakery near the office that I never noticed! All slices of pie today were $3.14 and it was super cute.

I also gave my sister a call. It's her birthday today! She turned 25 and is celebrating by making a pineapple upside-down cake.
