Review of Hunters Unlucky by Abigail Hilton
So I've actually been interested in this book since seeing Iben Krutt's illustrations some years ago... I'm so glad I picked it up! It's a long read, I think my ebook version was around 1500 pages, but it was such fun to read that I couldn't put it down and finished it within a week. The creatures are so interesting well fleshed out, and notably, I found the antagonist's behavior truly disturbing, which I enjoyed. The story has so many interesting twists and turns that I truly didn't expect. The author is right, Watership Down fans will enjoy this read. The world of Lidian will live on in my imagination for years to come and I can't wait to read the next books in the series!
