and some of these things that are described there are complete nonsense ... the most original points of view are...

1) that the balalaika was tortured not by Afghans, but by the same as her Soviet military

2) that in some fan fiction the authors persistently send her to Leningrad, although in the anime in her memories 100% Moscow, and Leningrad at the time of the events in the anime and manga is already St. Petersburg)

3) The authors write that she and her soldiers ... were almost on trial for saving a child ... and that Balalaika was deprived of all awards there ... although such things practically did not happen, especially in the 80s (so that get to trial in those conditions of war and lose awards, you had to commit something like killing your soldiers) for noble deeds are not punished ... because even for violations of the border with Iran and clashes with the Iranian army during the war in Afghanistan, Soviet soldiers and officers were not punished ... ((

4)тabout how Balalaika's apartment is described in most fan fictions, it's even scary to talk ... and rusty cold water in the bath and almost a complete lack of some elementary things in the apartment (By the way, there is always hot water in the USSR and Russia in cities (for except for 2 weeks in the summer) and is supplied centrally to all apartments, and the price for it is quite low ...)
