Josh is the least well-known god to not only the mortal world but to his fellow immortals as well. He prefers to remain in his invisible form at all times, and seeing as that is his default state it is very easy for him to do so. The only person he really trusts is Carson, because they became gods on the exact same day, and they were the first two in the newest wave of immortals (known as the SMPL era gods). Because of this, the two of them learned and grew into their powers alongside each other, and formed a close friendship that made them a very powerful duo. Jawsh can usually be seen working on plans for how Carson should address the mortals in his newest speech, or helping him out with various small tasks that come with the job of being the King of the Gods. He enjoys knowing that he is the brains behind the charisma and ‘power’ his friend holds, and uses his influence over Carson to convince mortals to go through with very stupid ideas, like constructing large statues of some people that Josh calls the ‘Family Guy’. Due to the fact that he really is the person that the whole infrastructure of the good gods relies on, his identity and appearance outside of being invisible are only known to Carson, Cooper, and Charlie. The rest of those that know about Carson’s ‘assistant’ know him as Jawsh. Nobody suspects the average human-looking Josh to be the Jawsh, and so it is the ultimate disguise. The full extent of his powers allows him to manipulate his appearance in any way he chooses, except he has to be focusing a lot harder to change into anything inanimate or of a completely different shape or size, like an elephant or a trombone. 

Cooper, most famous to the mortals for introducing them to what he likes to call ‘sea-weed’ (which is actually just straight up drugs), is a mer-powered god. His powers let him turn into either a fish creature, a half-fish/merperson, or a human. His fish creature form can only breathe underwater, but he can hold his breath for up to an hour before passing out if he is on land. In merperson mode he is able to breathe in air and water, but if his lower half is not submerged in water it will dry him up and make him more vulnerable to attacks. His default form when not using his powers is merperson, so he mainly stays inside the castle of good in a large fishbowl due to the limited mobility of a fish tail. Both his human and creature modes can last for up to 48 hours before he has to take a break and ‘recharge’ by sleeping, and while unconscious he will switch back into a merperson. 

Technoblade is one of the, if not the most, feared god, harnessing his incredibly heightened skills in both hand-to-hand combat and battle strategy to eliminate all of his mortal competition, and scare off the few immortals who dared duel him. Not to mention his excellent ‘persuasion’ skills (he’s very good at threatening people) giving him extra power over the entire immortal world. His powers just make him better at fighting in general, with enhanced speed, strength, stamina, and even accelerated reflexes. Even though it doesn’t seem like the most OP or interesting power you could get from being given the status of literal god, Techno has used it to become extremely respected and feared by pretty much the entire mortal (and immortal) world. He is also known as the ‘Blood God’ to his mortal followers, after an incident involving an orphanage on the day he gained his god status. He has ‘hired’ TommyInnit as his assistant (he doesn’t get paid), even though he claims to ‘absolutely despise’ the kid. Techno does occasionally assist Schlatt & Co. in their schemes, but he spends most of his time hiding, plotting, and waiting for the next big moment for him to strike.

Charlie is a god on the side of good with slime-based powers. He can turn himself into slime, allowing him to transform into different forms, his most commonly used being a mini version of himself (smallcicle). In slime form, he is light green and very goopy, excess slime dripping off him, and a small brown stick poking out of the top of his head. When not in full slime mode, Charlie looks like a conventional human, except his hair is still made of green slime and he has the stick poking out of his head. He is a talented prankster, but he uses this skill mostly to mess with the evil side. He is very wary around Schlatt, and has a fear of apples (which he hasn’t explained to anyone else). To the mortals, Charlie is known as ‘Slimecicle’. He is very close friends with a few lesser immortals (the JRWI group), who he likes to hang out and play games with in his spare time.

There are also lower-class immortals, who don’t really have specialty ‘powers’, but possess a kind of ‘magic’ that gives them a boost in some skill. These immortals usually live in the outskirts of mortal cities, not human enough to be accepted into society but not powerful gods either.

Greetings gamers, I am the owner of this blog and this AU, Li. Essentially, this AU is about some of the SMPLive members (and their friends) living in a world occupied by immortal and mortal beings. This is just a post to get this AU out there, so people can find it.
