Ended my work week today by helping one of the funeral directors get a 3 year old girl ready for her funeral service and it was pretty damn devastating but she looked so beautiful and we even got a lovely lock of hair for her mom and even though this was one of the saddest cases I've helped with it was really special helping style this lil baby's hair and set her stuffed animals around her and tuck her blankie on her in her casket... really really a tough one but meaningful you know? Go tell someone you love them yall. god damn. 😭

I'm still waiting to hear back from this family on whether they want to use us and if they do I need to dispatch our transfers team to get their loved one and its been 2 hours and no one has gotten back to me. I'm like bruh I ain't falling back to sleep I'm on edge waiting for a phone call lol I'm just gonna make a coffee and stay up for a while 😅
