he's heard this question asked before--both in person and on a variety of television shows. it always comes across like something... deeper than it should be. the person being asked would usually answer with some super important or wise dude who had long passed. but the person who came to his mind--first and immediately--wasn't anything like that.

maybe it was stupid or childish to still be clinging to this... or maybe it was always going to cling to him. bebop had said it best, after all.
