"I'm here. What seems to be the problem? Are you cursed? Are you being targetted by someone? What's happening?"
Just before the woman could answer, suddenly, she collapses, screaming "No!" and "Stop!", among other things, seemingly fighting against some unseen force. Is she, like... schizophrenic or something?
"Ma'am? Ma'am!" *Lishu tries to get her attention, but it's no use. His words can't seem to reach her anymore. Lishu tries to sense the air for any form of demon activity and yet for some reason, he's not picking up anything. Strange. He decides to try and help her up and bring her to a hospital.* "Come on. let's take you to a medical professional."
Before Lishu can help her, suddenly, her screams silence, and an eerie, familiar smile dons her face. She stands up slowly, picking up a shard of broken glass... and slits her throat right in front of Lishu, still smiling as she once again falls to the ground, this time never to rise again.
*Lishu was left shocked and disturbed by what just happened. He was extremely confused. What kind of illusions was this woman haunted by that it would drive her to take her own life like this? He sighs and closes her eyes. He checks the body for any form of identification, just to know who she was before he can send her soul to rest.*
Not only is there no identification on the corpse, but... there seems to be no soul either. As though someone had gotten to her soul first... And just nearby, Lishu can see a very familiar shadow lurking, watching the scene with a wide grin.

Husk was obviously confused, what was she even running from? He needed a moment to think. "What? Can you calm down miss and tell me what's going on? Who is going to kill you?" He can't provide help if he doesn't know what he's dealing with here.
"I-I can't- I can't-! FUCK! NO! NO, PLEASE! NO! STOP!" the woman collapses to the ground, seeming like she's fighting against some unseen force. But since Husk is affiliated with the demon in question himself, he's also able to see an eerie familiar shadow lurking mere feet away. Well, that explains... a lot.
Husk now trailing his eyes at the shadow let out a soft long drawn sigh. "Al... What are you doing? Where are you?" He called out, knowing full well who it was now.
Alastor steps out of his shadow, meaning he wasn't there originally, but was summoned by Husk calling for him. A common way overlords can communicate with their thralls is to heed their summons, after all. "What now?" he asks calmly, before his eyes land on the corpse of the woman. "Oh my. Did you stumble upon this gorey sight, Husk? Or did you... witness it happen?" In Smile, if you witness the suicide, the demon will induce hallucinations and pure terror for about a week before you succumb and end up killing yourself the same way, spreading it to yet another host. So it's important that Alastor knows whether or not he has to try and reverse the curse or not.
Husk raising a suspicious eyebrow at him yet still figured it was better he was honest to Alastor. "I saw it happen." He said flat out like it wasn't a problem but this means Alastor had to try to reverse it if he didn't want Husk to be the next victim. "What about it?"
"Oh? Well, congratulations, my dear! You have seven days, give or take, to live!" Alastor exclaims. Despite his admittedly not terrible intentions in saying it, though, that sentence was VERY poorly worded. It just sounds like he doesn't intend to help.
"What?" He was clearly distressed about this, the wording didn't help on his shock. "So wait, what do i do?" His tone clearly panicked because... Why wouldn't it be? He still had something to live for.
Alastor cocked an eyebrow. "My advice? Lock yourself in a padded room for the rest of your existence, of course!" Alastor explains semi-cheerfully. In truth, he's mentally weighing his options. To reverse the curse as a whole, it'll likely require... going through Roo. And as one might imagine, he isn't exactly keen on the idea of confronting the owner of his soul.
Husk snarled, he was obviously not happy at all with that response. "You gotta be joking, that can't be the only way to get out of this alive."
Alastor's eyes narrow in clear displeasure, though he makes no move to become violent... yet. "You do have a nasty habit of acting as though you would rather be dead than chained to me. Just before the woman could answer, suddenly, she collapses, screaming "No!" and "Stop!", among other things, seemingly fighting against some unseen force. Is she, like... schizophrenic or something?
"Ma'am? Ma'am!" *Lishu tries to get her attention, but it's no use. His words can't seem to reach her anymore. Lishu tries to sense the air for any form of demon activity and yet for some reason, he's not picking up anything. Strange. He decides to try and help her up and bring her to a hospital.* "Come on. let's take you to a medical professional."
Before Lishu can help her, suddenly, her screams silence, and an eerie, familiar smile dons her face. She stands up slowly, picking up a shard of broken glass... and slits her throat right in front of Lishu, still smiling as she once again falls to the ground, this time never to rise again.
*Lishu was left shocked and disturbed by what just happened. He was extremely confused. What kind of illusions was this woman haunted by that it would drive her to take her own life like this? He sighs and closes her eyes. He checks the body for any form of identification, just to know who she was before he can send her soul to rest.*
Not only is there no identification on the corpse, but... there seems to be no soul either. As though someone had gotten to her soul first... And just nearby, Lishu can see a very familiar shadow lurking, watching the scene with a wide grin.
*Lishu looks at the lurking shadow. He could almost recognize it, but it was too far away to be sure. He gets up and moves closer towards the shadow to get a better look at it.*
Sure enough, it's Alastor's shadow! The shadow waves as though Alastor isn't responsible for a gruesome, horrific suicide. Yikes...
"Oh. It's just you, Ali. is there something you need from me? Food? Water? More head pats?"
Alastor steps out of his shadow, summoned by his beloved saying his name. He tilts his head. "What about me?" he asks, and then his eyes land on the gruesome sight before them. Namely, the fact that the corpse is still smiling. "Oh my... Please tell me you simply stumbled on this unfortunate young lady instead of witnessing it." Oh?
"I happened upon the lady. She begged me for help before going into a panic for some reason before killing herself with a warped smile. WHy do you ask?"
"...Damn my desire for freedom," he curses under his breath, turning to Lishu and forcing an incredibly strained smile. "You must come with me. NOW," he orders, his voice carrying a sense of urgency, while also giving the impression he's trying to keep the situation... lighthearted.

Husk was obviously confused, what was she even running from? He needed a moment to think. "What? Can you calm down miss and tell me what's going on? Who is going to kill you?" He can't provide help if he doesn't know what he's dealing with here.
"I-I can't- I can't-! FUCK! NO! NO, PLEASE! NO! STOP!" the woman collapses to the ground, seeming like she's fighting against some unseen force. But since Husk is affiliated with the demon in question himself, he's also able to see an eerie familiar shadow lurking mere feet away. Well, that explains... a lot.
Husk now trailing his eyes at the shadow let out a soft long drawn sigh. "Al... What are you doing? Where are you?" He called out, knowing full well who it was now.
Alastor steps out of his shadow, meaning he wasn't there originally, but was summoned by Husk calling for him. A common way overlords can communicate with their thralls is to heed their summons, after all. "What now?" he asks calmly, before his eyes land on the corpse of the woman. "Oh my. Did you stumble upon this gorey sight, Husk? Or did you... witness it happen?" In Smile, if you witness the suicide, the demon will induce hallucinations and pure terror for about a week before you succumb and end up killing yourself the same way, spreading it to yet another host. So it's important that Alastor knows whether or not he has to try and reverse the curse or not.
Husk raising a suspicious eyebrow at him yet still figured it was better he was honest to Alastor. "I saw it happen." He said flat out like it wasn't a problem but this means Alastor had to try to reverse it if he didn't want Husk to be the next victim. "What about it?"
"Oh? Well, congratulations, my dear! You have seven days, give or take, to live!" Alastor exclaims. Despite his admittedly not terrible intentions in saying it, though, that sentence was VERY poorly worded. It just sounds like he doesn't intend to help.
