Au fil du temps-

Les feuilles ne chutaient plus gracieusement

Elles fanaient sur les branches

Mes yeux ne s'ouvraient plus aussi grand

Ils ne s'accrochaient plus à rien

Nous avions l'habitude de bouger à l'unisson avec la pluie.

Nous nous laissions tomber et revenir vers le ciel

S'attardant sur la peau de l'autre

Nous recouvrant complètement

Alors que nous bougions avec le monde, le temps s'arrêtait.

Quand nous nous sommes séparés, le battement de cœur de l'eau s'est arrêté

avec le mien.
