So we didn’t get a #Miggy proposal which is a shame. I do understand why because I think they wanted to keep that for a next season. It would’ve been soon because they haven’t been in a relationship that long. However if they’d known it was the series finale I’m sure they would’ve gotten engaged. And although I kinda understand Higgins reaction to the ring I would’ve liked it better if she’d been over the moon. Something Perdita herself would’ve expected as well. Maybe we all want more but I like the ending anyway. It implies they’ll be happy and married in the future. Just think they could’ve made a cliffhanger with Magnum proposing but we didn’t get to see her answer. Would have been so much worse.
I didn’t understand why Rick and Suzy did get engaged. For me that came out of nowhere. Until recently they weren’t even in a relationship. But just co parenting. He could’ve bought the ring but wasn’t sure if was going to propose. That also would’ve triggered the Miggy reaction / story.
I’m not sure what it is that Jay isn’t happy with about the ending. It doesn’t have to be how the Miggy relationship was handled. Can also just mean the way the network handled things. Who knows.
For now this is the end. I honestly don’t see them getting saved again.
