So, Idia and Ortho were attacked by the OB monster when they were kids, and Ortho ultimately ended up dead (like in canon) but, before Ortho died, he was in critical condition and Drs were trying to save him, and Idia was awake for this and watching bc he had to provide blood for Ortho (this didn't happen in canon but it was in my dream) Ortho died while Idia was in the room, and Idia screamed and cut his hair (?????) super short— shorter than Trey's. Idia gets super depressed, and after a little bit, he starts making an ORTHO CYBORG. It was a success. Fast forward several years, NRC goes on a field trip to Styx, and they come across Idia's hidden stash of stuff. Not manga, not collectibles, not video games, but Ortho's stuff, and Idia's old shoes he thinks Ortho would have liked. Stuff like basketball shoes, a pair of pink cancer awareness shoes, boots, but mostly basketball shoes. Idia sobs when they come across this.

Definitely do think Crowley is shady and has his own undisclosed machinations, possibly tied to purposefully bringing Yuu to Twisted Wonderland and inducing the OBs… I just don’t know if they’re good or bad 😭 There’s a lot of variations on this theory, from time loops to prevent tragedy to cult-like attempts to revive the Great Seven or implant their souls in his students.
