A few days back, I held a poll on Instagram and the question goes like "how y'all doing today?"
I provided three options; the first being 'great', the second being 'not bad' and the third being 'somehow...'
I want to use the result I got from it to leave a short message for y'all (from my heart). The highest vote goes to great, then somehow, followed by not bad ( which got the lowest vote).
I hope that as you're engulfed in a blanket of happiness and contentment you will never have a reason to run out of that. I hope that sadness, sorrow and any negative emotion will forever remain a fairytale in your life. I hope it will forever be a fleeting emotion, never meant to stay and never here to stay just here for the moment. I truly and genuinely wish you boundless happiness and tranquility.
*To those of you doing not bad.
Life is a mixture of good and bad, it combines the two together and it gives it out to us. It doesn't want to be unfair or partial so it gives everyone a piece of all the positive and negative things equally. At the moment I think you are experiencing both of them, I think at this very moment life or the universe is showering you with different confusing emotions so you don't know if you are doing well or not. All you know is that you are not doing bad but you're not sure if you are doing great either.
I want you to know that this is the reality of life, it is confusing and mysterious. Life is such a difficult thing to understand. So I want you to know that despite the conflicting emotions, you are doing great. The mere fact that you are confused whether life is being nice to you or not; the mere fact that you know and you acknowledge that life is being good to you despite being unfair to you is a sign that you are moving forward, towards light and abundant happiness.
*To those doing somehow...
life is like a building with different rooms or spaces. It is just like a house that have a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom, a kitchen and any other additional space person is interested in having. Every room has a different use and have a different feel to it.
The only difference between life and a building is that a building has rooms and spaces while life have phases.
And the thing that they have in similar is a door; to get into a space or to leave a space in a building you have to open the door. The same thing is applicable to life each phase has a door, a cause, a reason and a meaning to it.
the phase you are in right now is a phase of uncertainty; hopelessness; confusion. you don't know where life is taking you, you are unsure of what will happen, you are too tired of thinking and worrying about the future so here's a message for you.
"At a time like this I hope that you will find the energy to be kinder to yourself, forget about others and focus on yourself. I am not some God so I don't know what you are going through right now but I'm pretty sure and I can assure you that I understand what you are going through and I want you to know that you are not alone in this. Take a second and take a look at your surroundings, your environment, the nature, your sides, up and down and you will see all the blessings; the countless blessings that were bestowed upon you. I am not going to fill you with some toxic positivity; I'm going to tell you the opposite.
You might be going through the darkest moments of your life, the most unkind and the most challenging and I want you to acknowledge that. I want you to feel it and acknowledge it, you don't have to run away from it, you don't have to hide away from it, you just shouldn't immerse yourself in it.
Feel it; acknowledge it; don't run away; don't hide away; don't force yourself to numb your feelings; experience it and go through with it; but never ever let yourself to get immersed with it. It is but a fleeting moment from a nightmare and it will pass by as fast as it came".
