People actually go to see the church that looks like a slipper, too! It’s just much less intellectually stimulating than being surrounded by the world’s best literature. I’ll confess that American history’s actually quite boring; I’m more interested in seeing the calligraphy and if it evolved in the New World in a way that was really different from how it evolved back in Europe. How can you tell that he’s not pleased about it? I’ve never been good at empathizing with animals, not even Sherlock and I’ve had him for years. I suppose that’s true, although they all technically had employment, or at least affiliations to Hogsmeade. But it’ll make leaving the castle behind much easier if I imagine I’ll come back someday – even if I do plan on making sure to say a proper goodbye to the Architect of Hogwarts statue, just in case. And to the spot in the halls where Olly and I had our first kiss, and to my favorite nook in the Ravenclaw common room, and…oh Merlin, I have such a long list, thank goodness we’re leaving right after graduation so that I can distract myself.
Do they, Becca? Do they? Because you’re literally the only person who’s talked about this fucking slipper church to me in the history of ever. Even when I went online and looked up places to go, it didn’t come up once. But sure whatever, if we pass it, we pass it and we can go look but I’m not taking a detour for a tacky church. And maybe that’s because they’ve barely got any. Just take my word for it. We’ve got an understanding. I’m sure if you really wanted you could also find a way to have an affiliation with Hogwarts or Hogsmeade. It’s not like it’s hard. Hogwarts will always be here and think about all the way more exciting things we’re about to do. Eww, gross. Look just make sure you’re all packed up and ready to go when the time comes and I leave you to say your gross goodbyes to things you won’t even think about in a year.
