“I think it’s necessary to cry until you run out of tears, and yell at empty space. Punch a wooden fence, smoke a few too many cigarettes. Be angry. Be confused. Be sad. I think it is so necessary to allow yourself these feelings. And then go to sleep. Put on comfy clothes, wrap yourself in blankets and just let it be. Let the sunshine in the morning be a shimmering reminder that you made it. I find it extremely relieving”
