she’d just finished up with a demon, one a bit big for her to take on her own but elouise always seemed to manage just fine. thank you, lucifer, for all the hours of grueling training. however, her petite frame didn’t come out unscathed. there’s a small gash under her eye that stopped bleeding a few minutes ago but dried blood is never a good look, especially when other people can see it – like the people in the garage she’s sure heard something. “you should call animal control ; nasty dog in your alley.”

BLOOD WAS SUCH A COMMON occurrence on the southside that the other’s appearance really doesn’t phase her. instead, an eyebrow is just raised in question to her comment, dropping the bin bag she was holding into the large bin before she re-seals the lid and brushes her hand on her skirt. “we get a lot of strays around here. they don’t usually bite though.” she says, folding her arms as she looks at the stranger properly, trying to figure out who she was. “who are you, anyway? i’ve not seen you around here before, and believe me when i say i know everyone.”

Roxy had seen the girl on several different occasions, but this was the first time their conversation had extended past a simple hello in passing. She walks in, dropping her things on the couch as she moves to grab something to drink from the fridge. “Want anything to drink?” She offers, not really use to hosting people. “I tutor a few Northsiders. Pay is good and we have to blend in somehow.” Serpent jacket adorned her petite frame as she turns back to the girl. “Plus the jocks always need a tutor. They prefer me since I don’t care about their reputations.” She smirks, rolling her eyes. “Sometimes I wonder if any of them have a brain.”

WARY EYES GLANCE UP AT THE HOUSE before her, taking a moment before she accepts the other’s offer with a thankful nod and follows them inside, making sure to wipe her combat boots carefully on the mat, not wanting to make a mess.

it felt strange being inside penny’s home, but she was grateful that she was out of the cold for now. smiling to the other, she crosses her arms as she carefully leans against one of the counters in the kitchen, eyes wide as she takes the room in. “oh no, i’m good thanks.” she tells them; not wanting to deepen her debts with the devil.

smiling curiously, she glances back to the girl ----- who, thankfully, seemed so different from her mother. “wow, that’s pretty cool!” she admits, laugh falling from her lips at the other’s joke. “hey, maybe you can teach me sometime? i’ve not got much to give, but i can always ‘accidentally’ slide you a drink at the wrym every so often.”
