artists should have the right to own their music. the music THEY MADE (!!) doesn’t belong to people who didn’t even take part in the writing of it, therefore those people shouldn’t have the right to control whether or not the artist can perform or use their own music. it is literally nonsense that Taylor can only do that if she gives up re-recording her old music and the right to talk about the fact that she thinks this is wrong (which she is legally allowed to do).
