Making a big sacrifice today... I'll be pawning all of my recording studio equipment temporarily. Why? I need to jump-start the process of moving into my own space.
I haven't been able to record any quality music lately, and this is becoming a serious threat to my mental health. I'm so disgusted with who I become when there's no creative inspiration. I'm prone to depression quite easily, and the creation of the imagination is the only thing that keeps me sane.
Recording music is a very intimate process for me. I don't record music because that's the new thing these days. No, as I stated previously, it is a direct connection to my mental sanity.
Unfortunately, I can only truly record the best music when I'm absolutely alone, and I have roommates. Either one of them is gonna always be home when I'm home, and they know not that they inadvertently block my creativity. Catch my drift?
I understand this will warrant more difficulty with stabilizing my sanity, but I've completed numerous tasks involved with the process of moving out of my current residence into something new. Applications, applications fees, identity documents and etc.
At the moment, it's just a waiting process. A process that becomes a little frustrating at times. Once I'm in the ocean of my own creative energy within my own space I'd be able to record an abundance of quality music.
