not even joking this is one of the worst possible changes that i could've reasonably conceived of to happen to video games.
having thought about it this is a generationally anti-consumer announcement that will have a profoundly detrimental impact on consumers and retail markets. this will price out new consumers even more than a $600 PS5 and $80 games will. this will make games less accessible and more nickel-and-dimed. this will make games impossible to share irl without giving your console up, and will stop institutions like libraries from being able to loan copies of modern games. and most importantly, it will be for a minimal profit, as most of the sales in video games are already digital.
this is such a staggeringly catastrophic piece of news that i'm shocked it wasn't said by nintendo. congrats to sony for one-upping them in anti-consumer practices.

He had a right to blow up a good chunk of the planet and try to take over the world? Because... squints at paper ..Rotunda and Stratos pushed him to that point...? Fucking where?? You people, canon!Betrayus glazers, always resort to "It's his mother and his brother's fault he turned out so bad!!" Okay, point out where specifically in the show- and NOT from Betrayus- where we are shown that. Aside from Betrayus being put into a mustard costume. And Stratos literally just existing.
Betrayus is a known liar. Why are you trusting his word.
Also- "he should take over the world" Why? Because of some made-up reasons that could easily work as headcanons instead of reasons to yell at a character who gets less than 10 minutes of screen time in her OWN body?? What are you guys on dude.

Stratos is not a king. Betrayus is definitely not authentic! What are you talking about! "He may lie but he's authentic" that is a contradictory statement and I fear that you are blinded by your own mental image of this character.
I also don't even think Stratos is two-faced. He's just a cowardly president- and also finally!! out of this entire 8 minute video there is a genuine criticism of "It's fucked up that Stratos is weighing the world on a teen's shoulders".
