Midsommar (2019) **Rating:3.5/5** Oh man, I was so late to this film but I made time to actually watch it and I'm glad I did. Let me start off by saying, if i hadn't heard so much about this movie in the last almost decade, I'd have rated it a 4 or possibly 4.5. I think I knew too much going in, and like with watching a trailer, I lost the element of surprise.
The sets and visuals were stunning. I felt like everything was refreshing to look at. The acting was great as well. The only issue is that I didn't have any sense of suspense or fright while watching. I did however have curiosity which kept me engaged for the whole viewing.
I didn't feel like it dragged one bit even though it was a long film. Would definitely recommend to watch if you're like me and missed your moment to see this film.
