I've spent a good amount of time poking around in asexual circles and I've seen a common enough motif of alloromantic aces compromising with their allosexual partner and essentially say that, while they don't care for sex and don't particularly enjoy it, they feel the pressure from their partner to engage because they want to make their partner happy. You shouldn't have to compromise on something like that. The people who love you should be able to understand you and respect you. The complicated thing with relationships is that they require mutual respect and communication, and sex is far from the exception. I've read accounts of people essentially just dissociating and faking reactions just so their partner doesn't get upset with them. This is an issue for allo4allo relationships, but I find asexuals especially feel insecure about their lack of interest in the face of an allo person who loves them dearly. Asexuals don't have to "make up" for their sexuality
