whats the profit of this? 9-12 billion? right....dip into that and give the kids the money

6) Disclosure Day - it gets worse the more I think about it

5) Minions and Monsters - it was funny but really hard to follow because they are so bonkers. I know thats the point...my kid loved it but i fell asleep.

4) Supergirl - Definitely better than what I have been reading about it. All the set ups were there and Milly is amazing but some really strange direction, needed better music and not enough Krypto

3) Masters of the Universe - this was surprising. Lots of fun and anti toxic masculinity so thats always good

2) Obsession- this is very very well made and I will judge you by who you think the antagonist is

Anyway....no IMAX for me and i get the hype but it is still worth watching in the cinema!!! Going to see it on a bigger screen next week but 70mm doesnt exist in ireland....so....thats annoying

It looked insane....and was so immersive....literally....in the water....up and down

had a few moments where i was thinking about it being "practical"....like the dolphins...did they just show up on the day.

knew argos would make me cry

but also the other puppies!!!!

impossible to not compare with the return especially that last scene.....that ending was brutal...this was more restrained in comparison way better. that felt more "for the sake of violence" and also odysseus motivations were unclear. whereas here.....everything was building to that point but it was never about the fight

oh that guy looks like the guy from homecoming.....wait...

yes horror but not for horrors sake which i appreciated

The trailer mis represented a few performances...i thought Pattinson was going to be more slimy and Holland was coming across as very whiny - not the case in the movie.

And credit where it is due because everytime i thought he was going to get whiny....he pulled back and again something very restrained in his performance. Telemachus is naive for sure but not stupid and represents something that Odysseus knows they need to get back to. And i dunno..... thats Nolans direction and writing gave alot more depth to this character than i expected and i can appreciate the difficulty in getting that balance right

Pattinson.....was nearly too restrained.

Anne was perfect. like wow

Damon - you just cant help but root for the guy so that was what i expected...just overcoming one challenge after another but theres so much more and everything being linked directly to his mental state... i need to unpack that further....cannot articulate yet but you know what i mean. Anyway i have always liked Damon but he would never have been an obvious choice for this....glad to be wrong

as for the women of the odyssey - Other than Anne who i felt had the most time....my response is more please

one time was THAT pluck with the bow....chills....and i thought i need to go back and pay attention to the score because it was building to that the whole time and i didnt even realise

pacing didn't feel like nearly 3 hours
